We are a bunch of happy, playful, and slightly clumsy little puppies who are always ready for our next adventure! We love to wrestle, chase each other around, and play with toys. We’re still figuring out how all these legs are supposed to work, so there may be a few adorable puppy tumbles along the way! Our mama is a 10-pound Chihuahua mix, and Dad is a mystery, so we can’t say exactly what we’ll grow up to be. But we expect to stay small-sized, making us the perfect little companions for a family looking for plenty of puppy fun in a smaller package. We’re ready to find families who will give us lots of love, patience, playtime, and cuddles while we grow into our very best selves. Sometimes a name just fits, and Precious is definitely one of those dogs. At 10 years young, she's a sweet, gentle, low-energy girl who can be timid at first, but give her a little time and her affectionate personality begins to shine. Precious gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has settled right into her foster pack (3 large dogs and 2 other chihuahuas) she's even starting to play a little! She loves being near her person—curling up beside her foster mom while she works or occasionally deciding they should share the office chair. She enjoys cuddles but is also perfectly content relaxing on her own. Once Precious bonds with you, she becomes your little lookout and will alert you when she hears something unfamiliar. She's shy with new visitors and just needs a little time to warm up. She's crate trained, walks well and has the cutest little prance. She gets around great and even uses a stool to hop onto the bed. Precious is also discovering TREATS—and she's a big fan! She's got quite the nose for people food, too. One exception: peanut butter is unacceptable. Precious has standards. She's still working on potty training and will let you know when she needs a nighttime potty break. She has no known pre-existing medical conditions. Precious may be 10, but she's still discovering new things and showing us more of her personality every day. She's looking for a patient, loving home where she can enjoy plenty of cozy spots, treats (hold the peanut butter!) and companionship. Sweet, gentle and just a little shy—that's our Precious. He's a nipper and he likes to jump on you out of excitement and although he LOVES kids, he should be in.a home with older kids Peanut is still young, and has plenty of energy to play and run.He has been known to be a runner- He will take off and think, it's a GAME and it will be hard to catch him, so careful at the doors nd fences ;) But smart sweet pup loves kisses and lay on your lap . He walks good on a leash i put 2 one on harness and collar since I don't want him to get loose. (harnesses are too easy to get out of, so a martingale collar is his best collar) He can upset a bigger or smaller dog if they don't have a tolerance for nippiness.In the face kinda of thing he loved to play and he runs super fast lol 😆 they would have to be extra careful that he never gets out of front.Door or takes off he laughing fast 😅 Poor little guy almost got run over on these big streets all alone, and we NEVER want that to happen to him again. Meet Emma ❤️! Emma is 23 pounds of “your lap looks like the perfect place for me,” and she has absolutely no concern about whether you were planning to share your chair! She's thought to be a chihuahua/terrier/jack russell mix and all we know is she's a mix of adorable, lovable and sweet! Emma found herself at a local shelter after circumstances changed and her owner could no longer keep her. She arrived alongside another dog from her home, and shelter life was incredibly difficult for both of them. Emma began shutting down and wasn’t eating well, so she was pulled into rescue and brought into a foster home! And what a difference a home made! Emma spent her time in foster care living inside as part of a pack of 22 dogs, and she absolutely thrived! She loves other dogs, fits beautifully into a pack, and also did great living alongside a cat. She’s house trained and adjusted wonderfully to everyday life inside a home and would do well with kids.
