Story
Shruggs is apx 5 years young and a short stout 11 pounds. He has a deformed left limb , this is a birth defect. He still gets along just fine. We got Shruggs from a pretty bad situation and he came in with a broken soul but day by day he is getting better, lifting his head a little higher, and seems that every day his sun shines a tad bit brighter but he is still a work in progress and needs a loving and patient adopter. He is never ever aggressive and does not bite but he is timid and shy. Loves other animals but no small children please living in the home, I think the visits from toddlers would be fine as he is not an aggressive dog, but he is very quiet and submissive and I think living in a very loud home 24 seven may be too much for shruggs.

Update on Shrugs:
Learning to walk on a leash, does stairs really well up and down, likes to run, is a couch potato at heart, sleeps in kennel, he mostly potties outside I leave the back door open, he had an accident yesterday but was my fault I closed the door after I went in the backyard. He follows me around all day, loves to cuddle. His nervous tinkling has pretty much stopped. He is sweet, gentle and a cuddle bug. He does really well with other gentle dogs.

Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in Pleasanton, Texas. Additional photos and videos will be made available to approved adopters Texas adopters will be required to pick up their adopted dogs in Pleasanton.
Transport available to Buffalo NY and Ontario Canada for an additional fee.
