Story
Trixie is looking for a quiet home with an older or elderly person. Her previous owner passed away and our other pets and kids add too much stress for her. She is the most affectionate dog and very in tune to your emotions. Fast movement, swings, running etc gets her riled up so a quiet calm home is what she needs. She tolerates the pets in our home but does bark at them sometimes when they move. So a home where she is the only pet to be spoiled is best. She does love to play tug of war. She needs a fully fenced home. More info and photos to come.

Story
Meet Amy. She is a 12 year old chihuahua mix. She is part of a bonded pair with Penny, another 13 year old chihuahua mix listed and seen in these pictures. Amy and Penny have suffered a tragic loss of their owner and family is unable to take them in. They are currently staying with a neighbor until a furever home can be found. They do need to stay together. They are very sweet girls with no major medical issues that I am aware of. Medical records can be provided. Amy can yap at the fence sometimes but no more so than you would expect from her breed. Their owner used to take them both on car rides. They do have some dental disease and would benefit from dentals. They need somewhere loving and quiet to live out their remaining years.

Story
&#226&#156&#168 BUSTER — Male, Chihuahua Mix, DOB 12/05/2024, Weight 10 pounds Meet Buster Buster is a tiny guy with a HUGE heart. The moment he looks up at you with those big, soulful eyes, you feel it — this little boy is pure love. He has that special Chihuahua charm: a mix of sweetness, silliness, and unshakeable loyalty that makes you fall for him instantly. Buster is the kind of dog who wants nothing more than to be someone’s shadow, someone’s comfort, someone’s little piece of joy in a busy world. Personality Buster adores his people. He’s playful in a gentle, charming way and blossoms with affection and reassurance. He loves being held, loves snuggling, loves being included, and has the cutest little prance when he’s excited. He’s bright, curious, and always ready for a warm lap or a soft blanket. He may be small, but he loves big — and he wants a family who loves just as big in return. Breed Info Chihuahuas are known for their loyalty, big personalities, and deep bonds with their humans. They thrive on closeness, routine, and gentle guidance. They may be tiny, but they make some of the most devoted companions you’ll ever meet. Owner Responsibilities Buster needs patience, routine, soft guidance, and someone who understands that small dogs have big feelings. He will need regular vet care, training, gentle handling, and a home that keeps him safe and included. Things to Consider – Make sure your landlord allows pets – Consider your schedule — Buster thrives on closeness and companionship – Tiny dogs can be sensitive, so safe handling is important – Are you prepared for lifelong care, including food, vet visits, preventatives & love? – Think about your future — moves, travel, lifestyle changes all affect him – Puppies and young dogs need time, structure, and patience The 3-3-3 Rule Give him 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your rhythms, and 3 months to truly blossom. He will slowly show you every sweet, silly, loving part of himself. Why Buster Will Be a Great Addition If you’re looking for a dog who will adore you with his whole heart, Buster is your boy. He brings warmth, sweetness, and companionship into every room he enters. He’s the dog who curls into you when you’re tired, celebrates when you’re happy, and stands by you like your tiny, loyal best friend. Bringing Buster home means bringing home love — simple, pure, and constant. Story
&#226&#156&#168 Meet Bella Stormy Female • Chihuahua • 12/14/2024 • 13 pounds • Healthy & Spayed Bella Stormy may be small in size, but she has a big, confident heart. At one year old, she’s past the tiny puppy stage and settling into her personality beautifully. Bella Stormy is alert, affectionate, and deeply loyal — the kind of little dog who bonds closely with her person and loves being part of everyday life. She enjoys playtime, cozy naps, and keeping an eye on her world from a comfy spot nearby. Personality True to her Chihuahua roots, Bella Stormy is loving, expressive, and full of charm. She enjoys attention, thrives on routine, and loves being close to her people. She’s playful without being overwhelming and enjoys both quiet cuddle time and short bursts of fun. With the right guidance, she’ll be a devoted companion who brings joy and personality into your home. Breed Info (Chihuahua) Chihuahuas are known for: Strong bonds with their owners Intelligent, alert personalities Small size with big confidence Long lifespans and loyal hearts They do best in homes where they are treated as family members, not accessories. Owner Responsibilities Bella Stormy’s adopter should be ready to: Provide structure, consistency, and gentle training Offer daily interaction and companionship Keep up with routine vet care Ensure safety due to her small size Even though Bella Stormy is healthy, adopters should take her to their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption. Things to Consider Before Adopting Confirm landlord or HOA approval Small dogs still require time, training, and patience Consider your daily schedule and long-term plans Dogs are a lifetime commitment, not a short-term decision The 3-3-3 Rule The first 3 days are for decompressing, the first 3 weeks are for learning routines, and the first 3 months are when trust fully blossoms and she knows she’s home. &#226&#156&#168 Why Bella Stormy Will Be a Great Addition Bella Stormy will fill your life with affection, loyalty, and sweet companionship. She’s the kind of dog who forms a deep bond and stays devoted for life — a perfect little shadow and a loving best friend.   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue.
