I was rescued from a crowded California shelter awhile back, and that was a traumatic experience for me. As a result I'm a bit timid in new situations and around other dogs, and I'm happiest when I have a routine and can stick to it. Beau is a sweet energetic tiny boy of 7 yrs old and 9 pounds. He came in with his housemates Louie and Duke. He is the color of an Irish Setter, with a great fluffy tail. Allegedly a Pom-Chi mix. He`s pretty active, and has no trouble getting up on lower items, but needs assistance to get up on the bed. Stairs are not a problem. He is a good eater, Not picky..will eat anything. Although canned/fresh food is a favorite. He has no chronic health issues. When he arrived at OFOSA, he was in desperate need of a dental. He had several teeth removed, and is now fit as the proverbial fiddle. He gets along well with other dogs. No exposure to cats. He will growl a little if you get in his space, but that`s as far as it goes. He does like to bark at the doorbell, but that`s about it. VERY responsive to his name. This cutie boy would like nothing better than to be your lap dog for the rest of his days. He is fully vetted, chipped and neutered.
