Diego was found as one of three abandoned puppies on a hill in Longview. My daughter, hiking with her friend, heard curious puppies barking from atop a hill. The pups were eager to interact, but they were too unsure to get close. After three days of gaining their trust, 2 of the 3 puppies were rescued. Diego and his brother have lived with me since 2022. He was starving to the point of death and the vet didnt think he or his companion would make it. After 3 weeks of feeding him thru a tube he was able to stand on his own and began eating on his own. After he was strong enough he became a proud father to my female and had 7 puppies. He is a wonderful father! He loves his pups so much. But we decided to get him fixed to prevent any more surprises. Another thing about Diego is he likes to lick the other dogs eyes. It sounds funny but he will growl at another dog until they let him.lick their eyes. Its weird but good cuz now I dont have to clean my other dogs eyes.

Diego was found as one of three abandoned puppies on a hill in Longview. My daughter, hiking with her friend, heard curious puppies barking from atop a hill. Rallo is a sweet boy - he's a little leary of new people but a few treats and a few minutes help him settle down. He walks well on a leash, is house trained and crate trained. Good with children and other dogs - might even do well with a kitty as a friend. Just neutered, all shots current and he's micro-chipped. He is sort of a velco-dog, but will go to his crate if told to. Does not like being left home alone and will often bark if alone, so someone who is home more often than gone or can take him with them would be his favorite kind of home. Lola is a very sweet and playful dog. She is very treat motivated. She loves her walks and is good on hikes. She does show aggressive towards other dogs and will chase cats. She is very affectionate towards us and has easily adapted to our routine. She does need prescription allergy medication once a day for her skin allergies.

This is Finn. He’s about 5 years old. He’s a very playful and cuddly dog that needs a lot of attention.He is good with other animals but wants to be alpha dog even though he isn’t. We have three cats, and he visits a house with 3 dogs. He would likely do best by himself, but can gel with other animals. He loves teens and adults, but is wary of smaller children. He is fine in his kennel during the work day and likes to hang out in it from time to time, but would do best in a house with someone to snuggle with. He has basic training, but can be a bit stubborn. He might pull lightly at beginning of walks, but settles nicely. He doesn’t like scooters or skateboards. He’s not a fan of sharing attention or personal space, but can tolerate it. Loves guests, attention, and tough toys.Need to rehome him due to stress with a new baby in the family and not getting the attention he requires. Otherwise a very solid companion.

Rallo is a sweet and spunky little guy who would benefit from someone who can be with him as much as possible. He does great in his kennel, but my schedule requires for him to be in it for far too long. He loves exploring and just being with his person. He does have some separation anxiety which will need to be worked on. He currently lives in a home with a cat and one toddler and does great with them both. He did also used to live with another dog and did great too. He does good at walks but can sometimes be reactive if he becomes spooked.He is a tiny little guy, weighing about 6lbs, but his energy is big. He deserves and craves the love and attention I am not currently able to give to him.

Meet Benny! Him and his chihuahua friends were brought into rescue after their owner moved into assisted living. Benny is 2 years old and can be a bit nervous at first when meeting new people but warms up quickly and then wants nothing more than to snuggle! He has been doing well with other dogs in foster, but was being bullied by the other chihuahuas in his previous home so he is underweight and working on confidence. He does have some pretty significant dental disease, as chihuahuas do! He will be getting a dental done prior to adoption, but adopters should be prepared for mutliple dentals throughout his life! He will be vaccinated, neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.  ##2749758##
