Story
This is our sweet girl, Bella. We adopted her at 9 months old & have loved her for the last 9 years. Unfortunately, without any warning, she has started viciously attacking our other dogs and cat & it is escalating. It seems to be provoked by food. Our dogs are free fed, it is never over the bowl- only human food even if it’s not being offered. She has never bit a human intentionally, although she has injured ones who tried to break up a fight. Beyond this, Bella is the sweetest. She is a stealer of heat & will snuggle under any blanket/sweatshirt/pillow/carpet to stay warm. She loves to be on a lap, she definitely is a people dog. She is perfectly house trained, we have always had a dog door & she free roams with no issues- unless there’s snow on the ground! She will chew up underwear, flip-flops, any type of stuffed animal that she is allowed to, & pens/pencils. She is definitely a barker, but she is beep trained if you get the collar. Knows a bunch of commands & dances!

Story
Moose came to us because there were changes in his family's housing and they said they couldn't keep him any longer. He's a sweet, jumping in the air, sort of guy who loves to sneak under the covers at night. Not a real lap-sitter but will sit there for a little while while you pet him. He's housetrained but doesn't wait too long after he alerts to use a pee-pad instead of going outside. Like most chis he is wary of new people but does warm up quickly, especially if there are treats involved. He's looking for a warm and loving home where he can live out his sunset years. If you're looking for some companionship with a small, easy to love pup, please fill out an adoption application on our website. His adoption fee is $75 - he's up to date on shots and has been neutered and chipped. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.March 7, 2026, 3:28 pm

Story
Melvin is a 5 year old dude who just wants to be loved. He is very sweet and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. He gets along with dogs and people, is crate and potty trained, and loves to go on hikes and lay on the couch equally. We want to find Melvin a home that can offer him the life he deserves. He would be fine as an only pet or one of a pack. Cons- Melvin is a barker. He would thrive in a quiet, low-stimulation household. Melvin also has epilepsy which means he needs medication 2x a day and has seizures maybe twice a year. His medication does make him think he’s hungry all the time so he can be a begger! He is up to date on all shots, barely sheds, and really is the sweetest boy. He would be a wonderful companion for the right person or family. We will provide Melvin’s metal and collapsing travel crates, remaining medications, remaining food, leash, harness, collar, medical records, and grooming equipment.

Story
Sweet 9‑Year‑Old Chihuahua – Free to the Right Home This is a very difficult decision for our family, but we are looking to re‑home our 9‑year‑old Chihuahua to a loving, calm home where he can truly thrive. He is an incredibly sweet dog who loves people and enjoys attention. He bonds closely with his person and would do best as an only pet, ideally with an older individual or couple who is home much of the day and can give him the one‑on‑one companionship he craves. Since we introduced a Yorkie puppy last year, he has struggled with stress and jealousy. While he is wonderful with people, he has shown that he does not do well sharing his home with a puppy. Duke is free to a good home only. Our priority is finding the right fit and ensuring he goes to someone who will give him the attention he craves. If you believe you could provide a safe, loving home, please message us. Gabe & Family

Story
This is Pip. I love this dog, but life circumstances mean that I can no longer care for him. It breaks my heart. I'm hoping Pip can find a loving home for him (and Ideally his brother-in-paw) to live out the rest of his days. Pip is 9, so he still has a lot of life left in him. The good is that he's the best cuddler ever, he's very caring and sweet. He loves to play and frankly would benefit from more exercise and attention than I've been able to provide for him. Unfortunately, Pip is a kind of rescue and has some baggage from his earlier life. In particular he is very anxious, (especially towards men) and has been on a years long journey to improve his barking and nipping. In addition, his front right leg has a limp from a previous injury that never healed quite right. He still maintains a happy life, but he's especially neurotic when his leg is agitated. Pip has been a very kind loving soul in my life. I deeply regret that I have to let him go, he deserves the best.

Eddie is 18 months old. He likes to lay on his back and stick his head out from under the blanket. He craves attention and is great with children and other dogs. He has a lot of curiosity about new things and enjoys playing outside.
