Story
At just 2.5 years old and 8.5 pounds, Rallo is the total package: cute, cuddly, playful, and overflowing with love to give. He loves to play, snuggle, and be wherever his people are. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a walk around the neighborhood, or curling up on the couch for movie night, he’s happiest when he’s part of the action. He absolutely adores people and has never met a stranger he didn’t want to be friends with. He’s also wonderful with other dogs and would enjoy having canine companions to play with. He likes cats too, although his enthusiasm can sometimes be a bit much for more reserved feline friends—he simply assumes everyone wants to be his best friend immediately! More than anything, Rallo is looking for his forever “pack”—a family to love him as much as he will love them. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who will fill your home with affection, fun, and plenty of cuddles, he may be the perfect addition to your family. Rallo recently got neutered, he is micro-chipped and up to date on all his shots. If you are interested in meeting him please fill out an adoption application on our website, sccpets.com and we'll contact you as soon as approved. Adoption fee will be $300If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.July 16, 2026, 3:52 pm

Story
Chihuahua mix 5 year old male dog for $50 rehoming fee. My daughter left her dog over 3 months ago and is unable to take care of him. He needs more love and attention than I can provide. He's not neutered but he is micro-chipped. Very smart boy who does lots of tricks for food. He doesn't like baths or to be picked up. He loves to snuggle, go for car rides, and play in the yard. I recommend him to a home with no other pets or small children. He would be perfect for someone who is any early riser every day as he likes to get active around 6 to 630am. He self soothes when it starts to get dark. He is a barker until he can investigate what he can't see lol. I would prefer to meet up with his new owner outside of my home at a neutral location for you to meet him.

Story
Meet Benny! Him and his chihuahua friends were brought into rescue after their owner moved into assisted living. Benny is 2 years old and can be a bit nervous at first when meeting new people but warms up quickly and then wants nothing more than to snuggle! He has been doing well with other dogs in foster, but was being bullied by the other chihuahuas in his previous home so he is underweight and working on confidence. He does have some pretty significant dental disease, as chihuahuas do! He will be getting a dental done prior to adoption, but adopters should be prepared for mutliple dentals throughout his life! He will be vaccinated, neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.  ##2749758##

Story
Meet Kenny! Him and his chihuahua friends were brought into rescue after their owner moved into assisted living. Kenny is approximately a year old and the biggest out of the 4 chihuahuas from this situation (and could stand to lose some weight). He did bully the other male chihuahuas a bit in his previous home, so he may do best with female dogs. His teeth aren't too bad but chihuahuas typically need mutliple dentals throughout their lives, so adopters should be prepared for this! He will be vaccinated, neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.  ##2749759##

Story
Meet Coco Male DOB: June 03, 2025 Weight: 12 pounds (small) Breed: Chihuahua Mix Neutered (Fixed): Pending Vaccines: Up to Date Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Coco is a sweet young Chihuahua mix with a loving personality and cheerful spirit. At 1 year old, he has moved beyond the demanding puppy stage but still has plenty of youthful energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm for life. He enjoys spending time with his people and thrives on companionship and affection. Coco is the type of dog who wants to be included in family activities and will happily join you for walks, adventures, or a relaxing evening at home. As a Chihuahua mix, Coco may show traits such as: Strong loyalty to his family Affectionate and companion-oriented personality Alert and intelligent nature Playful but manageable energy Strong bonds with his people Chihuahua mixes often make wonderful companions because of their devotion, intelligence, and adaptable nature. They thrive when given structure, companionship, and positive reinforcement. Coco would thrive in a home prepared for: Daily walks and exercise Continued training and guidance Mental stimulation and enrichment Structure, consistency, and routine Plenty of companionship and affection A lifelong commitment to his physical and emotional well-being His small size makes him an excellent companion for many different lifestyles while still enjoying adventures and activities with his family. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or training before arriving at rescue. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Even friendly and well-adjusted dogs benefit from continued guidance, consistency, and positive reinforcement after adoption. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should expect to continue training and support after adoption. Coco will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Exercise and mental stimulation Patience, consistency, and supervision Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, guidance, and commitment, rescue dogs like Coco blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes training, daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, financial responsibility, and emotional commitment throughout every stage of life. Coco will need: Daily walks, exercise, and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine veterinary care and wellness exams Preventative care including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Proper nutrition and weight management Mental stimulation and enrichment A safe, stable, indoor living environment Because of his small size, care should be taken around larger animals, rough play, and unsecured outdoor spaces. Coco is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
