Story
Hi! My name is Millie, and I’ll be turning 2 years old this February. I’m a sweet, loyal girl looking for a patient and loving home where I can continue learning and growing. I would do best as the only pet in the home and with owners experienced with dogs who need extra training. I’ve made progress and am still working on wet food / treat manners, and I have lots of potential to keep improving with positive reinforcement. I’ve had some unfortunate experiences with trainers in the past, so a calm, safe approach is very important for me. I have a bite history and would need extra care and help. I enjoy playdates with larger dogs and can do well with them in the right setting. At home, I’m affectionate, loving and playful. I enjoy cuddling in bed, staying close to my people, and I’m very protective of those I love. I’m also as cute as can be and full of personality. My mom hopes to find me a forever home that will cherish me and help me be the best I can be. 💖

Story
T-Bone came to us when his family could no longer care for him. He is estimated around 9 years old and is approximately 12 lbs. He is doing well with the potty routine in his foster home - going outside when his foster dad is home and using puppy pads when he is away at work. He enjoys his yard time and is a big fan of treats! He does have some mild food protectiveness but that is understandable given that there was not enough food at his former home. T-Bone does pretty well on a leash. He does great in a crate and ok in the car. He is timid but very affectionate once he warms up and knows you are safe. He is generally not a big barker. T-Bone is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and also had bloodwork done which looked good! Meet Pepsi aka Moxie, a delightful senior dog with an alert expression that always seems to be wondering what's happening around him and if he might be missing out on something special. Pepsi's curiosity and love for good food make him quite the character, and he often dreams about the days when he might have become a chef. Though his culinary career never took off, Pepsi now enjoys his retirement in a fabulous foster home, savoring delicious meals and living the good life. Pepsi came to us from PACC when his human had to enter a care facility. Since then, his foster family has discovered what an amazing dog he truly is. Friendly with everyone he meets, whether they have two legs or four, Pepsi is well-behaved and adapts easily to new environments. He is housetrained with a dog door, leash trained, and crate trained, making him a well-mannered and easygoing companion. He is also snake trained!! Story
Annika came to us about 6 months ago from Yuma. She was VERY shy and has made some progress in foster but is still going to require patience and work in her forever home. She is still unsure of the leash and anxious about new situations. She is very devoted to her foster mom, has learned the joys of living indoors and is pretty well housebroken. She does well in a crate but is generally not destructive. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and ages and also has no issues with cats, and would likely be best in a home with other animals. Annika is around 2.5 years old and about 15 lbs. She is spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped and has no health concerns. She has not shown too much interest in toys (yet) and seems to thrive on routines. Meet and greets will need to be at her foster home (midtown Tucson).
