Story
Got Lucky Charm (now 4yrs) at one year old from someone who no longer wanted her after she birthed puppies. Lucky is spayed now and I’ve had her for three years. Lucky would do best as the only dog as she barks at our other dog sometimes if he goes near her food or kennel. She is loyal, very much likes to be close to her people and soaks up any attention. She is a laid back couch buddy. Her general personality is peppy, alert, joyful. She likes going for walks, car rides and playing, she really likes tiny balls. Lucky claimed my disabled daughter as her person. She follows her everywhere even to the bathroom. If daughter is having a rough day health wise, Lucky lays in bed keeps her company. Intuitive to her people’s feelings. Gets excited to dance along to the song “Lucky” by Britney Spears. Has weak bladder due to having puppies. So, although she is potty trained and uses a dog door, she will occasionally dribble a little pee if nervous. Downsizing in order to care for a service dog.

Story
This Chiweenie Brownie Boy looking for his new home. Currently lives near Marana, NW Tucson. He is 2.5 years old and has been a sweet, playful and cuddly companion for an elderly woman who now has dementia and is moving to another city to live with family. Loves adults and older kids. (Gets overly excited with greetings). Calms fast, especially with treat motivation. Needs a home where someone works at home or only part time, he's NONdestructive but seems lonely if left too long. House trained and lets you know when time to go out. Needs a solid wallled in yard bc he can be sneaky and at 14.5 pounds can get out of openings and take a joy run around neighborhood. Neutered, all vaccines, will come with his bed and full bag of food and dental treats, etc. Small rehome fee- no dog "flippers!" Not sure about other dogs bc he has been an only pet. A little dog Napoleon complex! unsure cats probably interested and chase at first. Meet and greet and even a trial stay to make sure he's your fit

Story
Wybie was adopted from PACC at 9 months old. He has no known health problems and has had one training session at PACC for reactivity. I strongly recommend a home with no young children as he gets territorial around owners. He does bark but as do all dachshund breeds. I also recommend being educated on dachshund behavior and recommendations as he acts exactly like most of his breed. He is a great companion and extremely cuddly, loves to play tug and fetch and is very very fast. He is still young, under a year old and treat motivated which makes him a very good trainee. He needs some more training on walking and being exposed to humans outside but once he meets them he’s very friendly. He’s learned to play well with big and small dogs but may be a little too hyper for seniors. Overall I just want him to find a happy home with someone that can learn to understand and love him.

Story
I`m a wonderful companion who thrives on attention, enjoys walks, and absolutely loves car rides. I`m also perfectly content to relax on the couch and keep you company. My ideal home is one where I am showered with love, attention, treats, and regular walks. I should mention that I can be a bit possessive and jealous when I`m getting attention—it’s just part of my personality—but I’m not looking for conflict, just a little extra reassurance. For those curious, I weigh between 16-18 pounds, making me the perfect size for cuddles and companionship!

Story
Leak is a loving year and a half year old Chihuahua mix searching for a forever family ready to welcome their new best friend! This handsome little guy thrives on companionship and loves being involved in whatever you're doing—whether that’s supervising household chores or keeping you company out in the garden. When it's time to unwind, Leak is the ultimate cozy partner, always ready to curl up on a soft bed or couch for a relaxing movie night. He’s happiest simply being wherever you are, especially if it means getting scooped up for some extra cuddle time! While he is endlessly affectionate, Leak isn't above using his adorable charm to skirt his manners from time to time, so he’ll thrive with a family who can resist those puppy-dog eyes and keep him gently accountable. A good balance of love and structure! Leak gets along wonderfully with humans of all ages and dogs of all sizes (though his thoughts on cats are still a mystery ). He is microchipped, current on vaccines, and already has been neutered. All he needs now is a loving lap to call his own! Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If he fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours. Click HERE for the adoption application. ##2801070##

Story
FOSTER NOTES: Meet PACO, A true Legend in his own mind. Paco can do it all, He is the perfect comfort dog & is highly skilled in teaching the art of belly rubs and snuggles. He has the cutest shovel jaw/under bite and is committed to being your loyal shadow where ever you may go. Who needs a doorbell when you have Paco guaranteed to alert you two seconds b4 the doorbell rings. He will keep your seat warm while you go to the potty OR he can be your potty patrol support tech AND Paco will keep watch while you enjoy your meal in order to make sure you eat every bite...treats appreciated. Very sweet little boy, He needs someone who is home all day, a retired couple with another playful buddy would be perfect for this little sweetheart. notation his left eye is underdeveloped (a congenital birth defect) Foster says, `that he cannot see out of his eye`. He requires drops 3 times per day. MEDICAL NOTE: PACO has been diagnosed with congenital irritable esophagus; excessive barking may cause chronic coughing. Paco may need occasional ongoing Veterinary care and possibly medication when irritation occurs. Will need health waiver at adoption. Foster never leaves him alone and takes with her whenever she goes out.
