At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. The application (link below) is the first step and helps us confirm that you and your household are a great fit. Once you submit it, text us right away. We’ll review it quickly, and if approved, we can often schedule a same-day adoption appointment so dogs spend less time waiting and more time loved. https://www.westvalleyanimalrescue.com/app 💙 Meet Pinky 💙 Little legs big heart pure sweetness. Pinky is the kind of boy who loves with his whole soul and wants nothing more than to stay close to his people. His short legs make him extra adorable and his gentle nature makes him easy to fall for. He is fantastic with kids and other dogs and settles beautifully in a crate. He uses the dog door at his foster home and spends his days soaking up love wherever he can find it. Pinky is ready for a family who wants a loyal companion who will adore them every single day. Pinky’s adoption donation includes his age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, neuter, microchip, collar and leash. Apply below to adopt Pinky. We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption. The address will be shared once your appointment is scheduled. Breed and age are estimated and not guaranteed. Please see our website’s FAQs for more information. Please note: Breed and age are our best estimates and not guaranteed. For more details, visit the FAQ section on our website.

SixSeven may not be the flashiest pup in the room but he is the one who quietly wins hearts and never lets go. He is shy when meeting brand new people yet once he trusts you he is deeply loyal in a way only the best dogs are. He gets along great with other dogs uses the dog door like a champ and is fully crate trained. SixSeven is steady gentle and genuinely easy to live with and he will thrive with someone who wants a dog that bonds hard and stays true. He is the kind of pup you do not fully appreciate until he is curled up beside you making your home feel warmer just by being there. Story
FYI: Rorescue is having an adoption event on Saturday December 13 fro 12noon to 3 PM at K9 Korral 6520 E 22nd st, Tucson. If this dog is still available at that time, She will be there. Please note: Rorescue takes in unwanted, damaged or last chance dogs and try to get them to the adoptable stage. If you are looking for perfect this may not be the dog for you. HOWEVER, If you are that special person who is seeking to make this sweetie's future better than her past, please continue reading. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ VIVI is a sweet 7 lb female chiweenie. PACC estimates her to be around 4 years old. VIVI's story: We think that if Vivi were to tell her story, it would come out in book form and possibly be a best seller. VIVI obviously has had several litters of puppies. Judging by her personality, she was a great mama. At some time during her short 4 years she sustained several fractures to her hind area. She healed all on her own before landing at the local shelter. The fractures have not healed prefectly. She walks normally, jumps and plays without a care and is in no pain. Our Orthopedic and our Neurological Surgeons say that nothing is to be gained by doing any surgical repairs at this time. Doc says that she may develop arthritis in her old age, as most of us do. Her only sustaining symptom is that the end of her tail flops as she wags it. HEALTH: VIVI is in remarkable good health in spite of her past. FYI: Since VIVI has had a difficult past, we are being very selective with her new home and how to keep her safe. PLEASE NOTE: The following website may help you in your search for the perfect dog.. https://www.rescuedogs101.com/things-to-know-before-adopting-dog/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At RoRescue, we strive to match the dog's personality to the best possible future home. This, in no way, casts judgement on the potential adopter. Our primary concern is the dog's future safety, health and happiness. ALL RORESCUE DOGS are vet checked, spayed/neutered, dental cleaning (if needed), microchipped and UTD on shots. We do NOT adopt to: * adopters who intend for the dog to live outside. * out-of area or out of state locations. * homes where someone smokes cigarettes, vape or smoke prescribed or non-prescribed substances inside the home

Story
Meet Kernel (aka Max), your soon-to-be best buddy! Hi there! My name is Kernel, but my foster mom affectionately calls me Max—and I kind of like it. I might come off a bit shy at first, but give me a little time and you'll find me curled up in your lap, handing out kisses like it’s my full-time job. I get along great with the other pups in my foster home (they're all around 35 lbs. and under), and I’ve even had some fun with the neighbor kids! Cats? I haven’t met any yet, so the jury’s still out. I walk nicely on a leash—though sometimes I get a little excited and try to lead the way. A secure yard where I can zoom and sniff would be ideal, and I’d love a doggy sibling to hang out with while you’re out. Snuggle time is very high on my list of favorite things, so don’t be surprised if I sneak into your arms for a cuddle session. I’m potty trained, and while the doggie door is still a bit of a mystery to me, I’m getting the hang of it with practice! Life’s giving me a fresh start, and I’m ready to soak it all in—especially if it involves adventures, soft blankets, and someone to love. Bonus: my ears are ridiculously cute. Come meet me—I have a feeling we’re meant to be! Please email ADOPT@VALLEYDOGS.ORG to schedule a meet & greet.
