Akamaru was born and raised in Arizona with his brother, Scrappleton. He is a sweet little dog with a big personality. He loves all people and wants all the pets he can possibly get. He loves giving kisses and just wiggles all the time because he is always happy. Unfortunately, after raising him for 5 years, our new work schedule does not allow us to give them the time and attention he needs and deserves. We are also moving to a home that does not have a yard. They spent most of their life running around outside and need a home they can do the same. Since he spent his time outdoors, he is still being potty trained but is doing well. He loves cuddles and to play with his brother. He is not fixed but only just out of date for his shots. He is a great dog and we just want to find a home where he can have the better life he deserves. He does need to be kept with his brother, Scrappy.

Scrappy was born and raised in Arizona with his brother, Akamaru. He is a sweet little dog with a fun loving personality. He loves all people and wants all the pets he can possibly get. Meet Kernel (aka Max), your soon-to-be best buddy! Hi there! My name is Kernel, but my foster mom affectionately calls me Max—and I kind of like it. I might come off a bit shy at first, but give me a little time and you'll find me curled up in your lap, handing out kisses like it’s my full-time job. I get along great with the other pups in my foster home (they're all around 35 lbs. and under), and I’ve even had some fun with the neighbor kids! Cats? I haven’t met any yet, so the jury’s still out. I walk nicely on a leash—though sometimes I get a little excited and try to lead the way. A secure yard where I can zoom and sniff would be ideal, and I’d love a doggy sibling to hang out with while you’re out. Snuggle time is very high on my list of favorite things, so don’t be surprised if I sneak into your arms for a cuddle session. I’m potty trained, and while the doggie door is still a bit of a mystery to me, I’m getting the hang of it with practice! Life’s giving me a fresh start, and I’m ready to soak it all in—especially if it involves adventures, soft blankets, and someone to love. Bonus: my ears are ridiculously cute.
