Story
Got Lucky Charm (now 4yrs) at one year old from someone who no longer wanted her after she birthed puppies. Lucky is spayed now and I’ve had her for three years. Lucky would do best as the only dog as she barks at our other dog sometimes if he goes near her food or kennel. She is loyal, very much likes to be close to her people and soaks up any attention. She is a laid back couch buddy. Her general personality is peppy, alert, joyful. She likes going for walks, car rides and playing, she really likes tiny balls. Lucky claimed my disabled daughter as her person. She follows her everywhere even to the bathroom. If daughter is having a rough day health wise, Lucky lays in bed keeps her company. Intuitive to her people’s feelings. Gets excited to dance along to the song “Lucky” by Britney Spears. Has weak bladder due to having puppies. So, although she is potty trained and uses a dog door, she will occasionally dribble a little pee if nervous. Downsizing in order to care for a service dog.

Story
Wybie was adopted from PACC at 9 months old. He has no known health problems and has had one training session at PACC for reactivity. I strongly recommend a home with no young children as he gets territorial around owners. He does bark but as do all dachshund breeds. I also recommend being educated on dachshund behavior and recommendations as he acts exactly like most of his breed. He is a great companion and extremely cuddly, loves to play tug and fetch and is very very fast. He is still young, under a year old and treat motivated which makes him a very good trainee. He needs some more training on walking and being exposed to humans outside but once he meets them he’s very friendly. He’s learned to play well with big and small dogs but may be a little too hyper for seniors. Overall I just want him to find a happy home with someone that can learn to understand and love him.

Story
I have owned these two since 5 weeks old. They are both very well trained and good for the home in all aspects. Doggie door trained, crate trained, and very well mannered. I moved to Arizona from California to take care of my ailing 82 year old mother. The dogs really stress her out since she is still traumatized by an incident that happened in her childhood so this extra stress in her condition now is forcing this situation. Blondie is a lover and will try to lick you to death. Petey is a little more timid as he was the last born of the litter. both loving and require little care.

Story
Meet Riggs! Riggs is a little bundle of energy and affection who is always ready for his next adventure—or a cozy cuddle session afterward. He loves going for walks and especially enjoys time at the park where he can run, play, and burn off some of his enthusiasm. Riggs gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. When Riggs came into the care of Valley Dogs, he was suffering from a hip injury that required a femoral head ostectomy (FHO). His veterinarian believes the injury was caused by some type of trauma, such as a fall, jump, or impact to the hip area that resulted in a fracture. Despite his injury, Riggs never let it slow him down. Even before surgery, he happily kept up with his four-legged companions. After surgery, he is simply continuing to enjoy life to the fullest. Riggs would thrive in an active home with a securely fenced yard, especially since he weighs less than 12 pounds. He would love a family that includes him in walks, outings, and everyday activities. While he has not been exposed to children in his foster home, he is expected to do well with respectful kids once he knows he is safe, loved, and part of the family. He would also enjoy having one or more canine companions to play with and help keep him entertained. If you're looking for a fun-loving, resilient, and affectionate little dog to join your family, Riggs may be the perfect match.
