Egg yolk is ready to find his forever home here in sf Bay area! He's appx 3 to 4 yrs old, mixed breed but he's such a cute lil guy. He weights about 17lbs, loves to eat, crate trained. He does well with other dogs and is a bit shy in new environment and people but he will gradually open up. No aggression at all! He still needs to learn to walk on leash but he's a smart pup and will learn fairly quickl. He doesn't bark much and he loves to rub himself on the floor for back rubs 😄

Our half brother abandoned this sweet boy, and we would like to find a forever home for him as we already have animals of our own to take care of. Duke is a little sweetie; he likes cuddling, he enjoys running around outside and exploring, and he is one of the only dogs you’ll see to actually chase their tail! He’s a little intimidated by bigger dogs when he first meets them but he warms up pretty quickly as long as the dog shows him mutual respect.

Paisley is an absolutely adorable 4 1/2-month-old Chiweenie (Dachshund/Chihuahua) mix weighing 9.5 pounds, with a lovely tan, smooth coat. She was born (04/7/25). She’s a little shy but very sweet, and she’s looking for a loving forever home—either alone or with her siblings Piper, Parker, and Prince. Her story is heartwarming—her mom was purchased for just $20 from a homeless man, and when she was pregnant, the family who bought her didn’t realize she was expecting. Thankfully, she delivered her puppies safely, and now Paisley and her siblings are ready to bring joy to new families. Paisley is scheduled to be spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Meet Spella, one of 7 of the Howl-o-Ween bottle puppies! Spella came to CalPaws at just a few days old and was hand reared by her foster. Spella is lovely. She is gentle, kind and quiet. She has her normal bursts of puppy shenanigans, but overall she is a really well behaved girl. Spella likes kids but can be a bit rambunctious if they’re all running around so would do best with puppy savvy kids or older kids in the house. She gets along splendidly with adult dogs, she is super respectful and takes their corrections humbly. Spella is crate trained, potty trained and walks really well on a leash given her young age. She is doing great learning her basic commands. Oh and did we mention that she is absolutely STUNNING? Spella is a bit of a homebody.  She prefers just being with her people as loud/busy environments make her nervous. She is just a sensitive girl with the biggest heart. She has recently discovered how comfy mommas bed is and has really been enjoying sleeping with her  at night, even getting up throughout the night to go outside with resident dog Kira for potty breaks! Meet Vivian! Vivian came to us as a brand new mom with 2 day old puppies. She was very protective of her puppies ant took amazing care of them. They are all grown up now and its time for Vivian to find her happy ever after! Vivian is 2-3 yrs old and weighs 11 pounds. She can be a bit timid and fearful of new situations and people. She is afraid of being outside and we think she never has been out doors before coming to us. She uses pee pads in her foster home but will need encouragement to go outside. She loves to snuggle and is not much of a barker. She gets along with all the dogs in her foster home but can be protective of her food. She could still stand to gain some weight as she came to us very skinny and we have been working on getting her to a healthy weight. Our sweet Birdie is ready for her forever home!! After a consult with our vet, it has been decided that her remaining cherry eye has healed very well and is significantly smaller. It should not cause any further issues and is not impairing her vision so putting her through another big painful surgery was not necessary. So lets get her adopted!!! Birdie is 1-2 years old, 10 lbs and is spayed,microchipped, dewormed and up to date on her vaccines. She has the most adorable overbite we call her “parrot mouth”! Birdie gets along with all the small dogs in her foster home, but is fearful of large dogs. She can be timid with new people but warms up with time and just wants to be loved. She walks on leash well and uses pee pads in her foster home. Birdie would love a quiet home with lots of squeaky toys and a fur sibling to play with! Birdie is unsure around small children so a home with older kids would be better for her.
