ola was pulled from Stanislaus Shelter’s red list on February 20th, just nine days after arriving completely shut down and overwhelmed. Like so many sensitive little souls, the shelter environment swallowed her confidence, and she quickly landed on the euthanasia list. But one foster stepped up. A transporter said yes. And because of that, Lola’s story didn’t end — it began. She spent her first weekend in quiet decompression, and she was an absolute angel. Once she moved to her regular foster home, she blossomed almost instantly. She now sleeps curled up with the foster’s daughter, plays joyfully with the resident dogs, and soaks up every bit of affection she can get.
