Chiweenie puppies and dogs in Winters, California

Sumo is a happy-go-lucky long haired Chiweeniw, now about 11 weeks old. He is looking for a loving, stable and permanent home.

This is Bodie. Hes 6 months old. I adopted him when he was 3 months old. Originally they told me he was a Chiweenie but he is not. I’m not sure what he is. He is the absolute sweetest dog but unfortunately my senior dogs are not accepting him the way we had hoped. It’s unfair to keep them both locked up so I figured the best option was to find him a better fitting home. He needs one more round of shots, is neutered, house trained, and great with kids. He loves having other dogs to play with but would be happy as an only child as well.

Olive is a sweet, loving 4-year-old Cheweenie who has been with us since she was about 10 weeks old. We believe she may have another breed mixed in with her. She warms up to people easily and loves cuddling, belly rubs, playing, and sleeping under lots of blankets near your feet. She is used to sleeping in the bed and loves being close to her family. At home, she is incredibly sweet, playful, and loving, and has never made me feel unsafe. Olive knows her name, sit, and come. She can be reactive to distractions on walks and may bark or try to approach them, but if we avoid the distraction or call her name, she usually redirects and continues walking. She loves sniffing and exploring outside. She also has a little hunter instinct and loves finding bugs around the house! She seems to have some anxiety in the car but sitting on someone’s lap helps. We’re hoping for a home with a person or couple who has time for continued training and patience and a home with no animals or young kids! :)

9/1/22 estimated birthday. Roxi and her sister Ginny street abandoned in an orchard. They stayed there for a week in a storm waiting for their family to come back. It took me 4.5 hrs to catch them. They were afraid of me then when I got them home they thought I was their best friend. Roxi is a very happy girl. She loves belly rubs. She follows me around happily. She likes to be on the couch and hang on my lap. She loves with foster cats and is doing well. I dint know if she is potty trained.. We run our home a bit like a shelter with multiple foster dogs. She has kennel time, house time and yard time on a schedule. Fixed, deworm treatments and microchiped. I'm not sure of the breed mix. Just going by her body.

Meet Sweet Samantha! Samantha, along with her sisters Scarlett and Sapphire, began life's journey on the streets of Stockton after they were heartlessly abandoned in a box. Thankfully, they were rescued and are now safe in a loving foster home where they are blossoming a little more each day. Fostering truly saves lives! Samantha is the sweetheart of the litter. This adorable black-and-white Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) weighs just **6.4 pounds** and is approximately **3½ months old** (DOB approximately **04/03/2026**). Like all puppies, Samantha will need patience, love, and guidance as she learns house training and, once fully vaccinated, leash training. She is still a little shy, but her gentle, affectionate personality shines brighter every day, and she is ready to build a lifelong bond with a family of her own. If you're ready for the joyful pitter-patter of puppy paws, playful adventures, and unconditional love, Samantha is ready to fill your heart and home with happiness. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5.
