Meet Brie   5 lbs of pure love, looking for her forever lap If you've ever wanted a dog who fits in your bag, your heart, and your schedule all at once — meet Brie. This 8-year-old Chihuahua mix is five pounds of absolute sweetness, and she is ready to be your person. Why Brie might be your perfect match: Brie has skipped the chaos of puppyhood and arrived fully formed as the companion dog of your dreams. She loves everyone she meets — seriously, she has never met a stranger she didn't immediately want to cuddle. She's calm and easy on a leash, happy to meander through nature walks at whatever pace you set, nose to the ground and tail wagging the whole way. She rides in the car like royalty — passenger princess, window down, living her best life. Her coat? Impossibly soft. The kind you start petting and genuinely cannot stop.   She is not considered an allergy-free dog, but you'll barely notice her shedding — no need to stock up on lint rollers! At home, she's a professional: world-class blanket burrower, elite lap occupier, and a praise junkie who lights up at a simple good girl more than any treat you could offer.  She picks up on training quickly when lots of praise and snuggles are involved.  She loves her crate and has great promise for crate training, making her an easy houseguest from day one. A little something to know: Brie has a big heart — and like a lot of dogs with big hearts, she feels separations deeply. She does best in a home where she won't be left alone for long stretches. The good news? She's shown she can bond with more than one person, and with the right environment and a little patience, her anxiety is expected to ease considerably. She's likely a great fit for older kids, though her history with other dogs, cats, and small children is unknown. If you work from home, keep a slower pace, or simply want a devoted, portable, endlessly soft companion by your side, she might just be exactly what you didn't know you were looking for. Interested in Brie? Fill out an application at EAPL.com to schedule a meeting — she's ready to find her people.   Her adoption fee is $375 June 9, 2026, 7:20 pm

Story
Hi I'm CiCi! I'm around 7 years old and about 7 pounds, but my fosters are trying to fatten me up a little bit more. They call me a starter chihuahua because I'm small and sweet. I'm pretty easy going once I get to know the other dogs in the home. I'm funny, wiggly, inquisitive and full of love. I really enoy being outside in the sun in the yard, exploring and keeping the local wildlife in line. I'm a little nosey and want to be involved in whatever you're doing, but that just makes me even better company! I am great with older kids and other small dogs, cats are unknown at this point. I would make a great little companion for someone!  Please note: I do have a congenital defect in my back legs. I have had corrective surgery for both knees, but still have a bit of a wonky gait. Due to years of limping, I lost a lot of muscle in my back legs, but I'm building it up again now that I can move better and painlessly If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations  ##2719411##
