This adorable 10 year old chihuahua mix is as charming as she is wiggly, lovingly nicknamed puggle-butt because of her cute little hops and wiggles that greet you every time she gets excited. Her mama recently passed away, and due to health issues, her dad can no longer care for her. She’s been deeply loved her whole life, and now she’s ready to bring that love into a new forever home. What She Loves: • Cats! She would love a home with a kitty companion. • Other dogs — she gets along great with them. • Long, leisurely strolls where she can sniff every leaf, chase grasshoppers, and gently inspect sidewalk worms. • Exploring the outdoors at an easygoing pace with her human. • Mealtime — picky about treats, but absolutely here for breakfast and dinner! She’s an outdoorsy little soul with a soft heart and a curious spirit. If you enjoy slow walks, simple joys, and a sweet companion who just wants to sniff the world with you, she may be your perfect match. Agnes is currently working on her potty training and socialization, and she’s making steady progress with the help of her foster family. She’s already kennel trained and finds comfort in having a cozy space to call her own. She thrives when she’s near her people and would do best in a calm, adult-only home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. Agnes has a soft spot for her canine companion, Edith, and while they’re somewhat bonded, we believe Agnes could also thrive as a solo pup in the right home. What she needs most is someone who understands that trust takes time—and is willing to continue her training journey with kindness and consistency.
