We have had Effie since she was 12 weeks old. She’s been an absolute joy for our family. She enjoys sleeping most of the day, cuddling, and being under the blanket. She’s a very sweet girl but as she’s getting older she is struggling with our young kids. We are struggling to go through this process but are committed to finding her a loving home with new parents without kids. Please let us know if you are interested in being Effie’s new parents.

Meet this adorable little guy! This one-year-old Dachshund, Tibetan Spaniel, and Chihuahua mix is full of charm, affection, and personality. He loves playing with toys, snuggling close to his favorite people, and being part of the action around the house. He’s still learning how to walk on a leash since he hasn’t had much experience with it, but he’s a smart, food-motivated pup who is eager to learn and make progress with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement. He is making great strides with potty training and does well going outside in the yard. Like many young dogs, he still benefits from regular reminders and a consistent routine to help him stay on track. This sweet boy forms strong bonds with his people and is happiest when he can stay close to them. He has a naturally protective nature and takes his job of looking after his family seriously. Because he prefers not to share his home and favorite humans with other dogs, he would do best as the only pet in the household where he can soak up all the love and attention. Hi I'm CiCi! I'm around 7 years old and about 7 pounds, but my fosters are trying to fatten me up a little bit more. They call me a starter chihuahua because I'm small and sweet. I'm pretty easy going once I get to know the other dogs in the home. I'm funny, wiggly, inquisitive and full of love. I really enoy being outside in the sun in the yard, exploring and keeping the local wildlife in line. I'm a little nosey and want to be involved in whatever you're doing, but that just makes me even better company! I am great with older kids and other small dogs, cats are unknown at this point. I would make a great little companion for someone!  Please note: I do have a congenital defect in my back legs. I have had corrective surgery for both knees, but still have a bit of a wonky gait.
