Story
We have had Effie since she was 12 weeks old. She’s been an absolute joy for our family. She enjoys sleeping most of the day, cuddling, and being under the blanket. She’s a very sweet girl but as she’s getting older she is struggling with our young kids. We are struggling to go through this process but are committed to finding her a loving home with new parents without kids. Please let us know if you are interested in being Effie’s new parents.

Story
Our sweet boy is 10 years old, he’s a good dog but we have a one year old and we’re struggling to navigate life with both of them, especially as he ages. He is potty trained, but struggles when it rains and snows and needs help. I think he would do fine in a house or apartment. He’s getting older and he’s struggling on our hard wood floor as well. He’s loving but not a huge snuggler and not a great walker. He gets alot of exercise playing with our other dog and chasing the cat around. He’s always lived with another dog and cat and does fine but both he’s known since birth. I don’t think he would do well in a home that has previously had a male dog, I would be worried about him trying to mark.Would not recommend him around children. He may be fine, but he seems to get anxious around them. He’s never bit anyone and has a bubble, he likes his space.

Story
Hi! My name is Pinto Bean, and yes… I’m named after the single bean-shaped spot on my back.I’m currently in my “tiny adorable baby puppy” era. Which means I spend the day switching between playing hard and snuggling hard. My foster family thinks I’ll probably grow into a medium-sized pup someday, so I’m excited to grow up and become a professional lap dog.I’m curious, silly, social, and full of personality. I LOVE toys. Especially stuffies that are somehow bigger than me. I proudly prance around carrying them with dramatic puppy energy like I just won the Olympics. Fetch is my favorite game, and I go after every toy with my whole heart and all four paws.My foster family says I’m a really smart little guy too — I already go potty right away when we go outside, and I’m picking up crate training like a pro. I’m trying so hard to be the very best boy.If you’re looking for a playful best friend, expert cuddler, and tiny sidekick with a huge heart, I think we should meet.  ##2747114##

Story
Woody is a tiny little character with a huge personality. He appears to be a Chihuahua mix, though his exact recipe is anyone’s guess. What we do know is that he is hilarious, fast, playful, food motivated, and full of puppy charm.Woody is a high-energy little guy who loves toys, sticks, people, and playing with other dogs. He has done great with dogs of all sizes in his foster home and is surprisingly good at reading the room. He loves to play, but he also respects boundaries when another dog tells him they need space. He would likely thrive in a home with another playful dog or with people who are excited to give him plenty of activity, structure, and enrichment. For a young puppy, Woody is doing really well with the basics. He is basically house trained, crate trained, sleeps through the night, and has low separation anxiety. Because he is so busy, he does benefit from crate time when he needs help settling down. Left to his own devices, he would probably choose adventure over napping every time.Woody is also very food motivated, which should make training fun and rewarding. He is still very much a puppy, so adopters should expect normal puppy teething, supervision, and continued work on manners. He is also extremely fast and can be a bit of a flight risk, so a secure yard and careful leash habits will be important. We don’t know much about Woody’s backstory, but he does have a large scar on his back and seems to carry a little bit of mild trauma. He can be sensitive about being handled in certain ways and may growl when something makes him uncomfortable. Because Woody is still learning boundaries and can be unpredictable when handled in certain ways, he would likely do best in a home without children. He needs adopters who can read his body language, respect his signals, and help him build confidence at his own pace.Woody is goofy, affectionate, resilient, and wildly entertaining. He would be an amazing fit for someone who wants a tiny best friend with a huge personality, a big sense of adventure, and lots of love to give. ##2741092##
