We have had Effie since she was 12 weeks old. She’s been an absolute joy for our family. She enjoys sleeping most of the day, cuddling, and being under the blanket. She’s a very sweet girl but as she’s getting older she is struggling with our young kids. We are struggling to go through this process but are committed to finding her a loving home with new parents without kids. Please let us know if you are interested in being Effie’s new parents.

We rescued Leia when we lived in Belize. She was found in a crab hole by some kids who sold her to us. We moved back to the states shortly after rescuing her in 2017 with our two other dogs a Golden Retriever and a Dogo Argentine. She has been a special part of the family for many years. She is strong willed. We trained her professionally several times, but she doesn’t listen to much besides sit and come. But she is a loving companion. She is a kisser. It’s time for Leia to be rehomed because we’re downsizing after a divorce and she just isn’t living her best life. Downsides of Leia to be straightforward. She gets aggressive towards other dogs when you walk her. She plays fine when not on a lead. It’s just when you take her for a walk. She also isn’t good on wall to wall carpets. Area rugs and hard floors are fine to her. It’s just the wall to wall carpeting that she can mark. We love her. She is technically an American Village Dog (DNA Tested), so she will live about 8 more yrs

Rescued from a hoarding situation, this tiny girl is still building confidence and would thrive in a quieter, slower-paced home with patient humans who love cuddling as much as she does. Possum adores other dogs, enjoys playful zoomies and toys, and absolutely lives for curling up in your lap giving endless kisses. She’s still working on potty training and confidence with new situations, but her affectionate, tender, "want-to" personality makes her incredibly special. Meet Preacher, a 4-month-old, 10.4-pound Chihuahua mix with soulful eyes, hilarious little ears, and the sweetest joyful spirit. Preacher is playful, affectionate, goofy, cuddly, and deeply people-connected. He loves toys, fetch, zoomies, chasing his sister, snuffle mats, exploring outside, and sleeping on your lap after a good play session. Preacher is doing well with potty training and is about 90% there, though he still needs consistency as he continues learning. He knows “sit” for a tiny second before treat excitement turns him into a wiggly little celebration parade. He has done well with men, women, elderly folks, older considerate kids, dogs of all sizes, and cats. He has not been tested with children under 3. Preacher could do well with another playful dog or as an only dog with plenty of engagement, affection, structure, and enrichment.
