Story
This super cuddly and chill Chiweenie, Corky needs a new home due to unforeseen circumstances. He was a rescue who was bullied by other dogs when his original owner passed away and the only thing really known about him is his name. He is diagnosed with Heartworms, has no teeth, and deals with incontinence. He’s a sweetie pie and loves to snuggle or soak up the sun and I catch him chilling in front of the heat vent all the time. I unfortunately can no longer support Corky with my 1-yr old nephew who was forced to move in with me. My nephew is too rough and now they are rivals with Corky on edge daily. I am hoping I can find a more peaceful, suitable home for a snuggly, senior pooch looking to stay with a loving home.

Continued basic training will be needed, including leash skills, crate training, potty training, and everyday manners. With a growing body and a busy brain, puppies need structure, enrichment, and positive outlets for energy to prevent overstimulation, mouthiness, or the development of unwanted habits. A home committed to consistency, patience, and mental and physical exercise will help Meadow grow into a confident, well-balanced adult dog. With the right foundation, the possibilities are endless! 💛🐶 -Around 2-2.5 months old -Currently under 10lbs -Good with kids, cats and dogs -Adoption fee: $400 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.
