Story
Fabian is a 3-year-old, short-legged chubby mixed breed weighing about 15 pounds. He spent much of his life confined to a cage, but he is now learning that the world is not such a cruel place after all. Fabian is gentle and observant, taking everything in as he discovers comfort, kindness, and freedom. He has truly begun to blossom into a playful and funny little guy who often gets the zoomies on his short legs and goes on a full out sprint around the house! He is embracing life in a home full of love! He is bold and ridiculously silly and has gotten alittle chubby while in rescue but carries it very proudly hahah! * Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Get ready for some fun to come into your house and your heart.  DORY will add some joy and excitement in you as she is just a spit-fire with a little gip and dip in her dance!! DORY is 5 months old and weighs 8 pounds, for sure she will remain a small breed dog as she only weighed 1.8 pounds at 3 months when I got her.  She is a Chihuahua mix and we are not sure what she is mixed with.   DORY loves wrestling and running and playing with all of the dogs in the house.  If you are her size, she has a good time rolling around and just playing tag with the other dog.  If there is a bigger dog in the house, expect DORY to crawl all over the dog, give kisses and just be a pretty pest in the best way possible. She is very smart and watches everything that is going on.  She understands completely what she should and should not be doing.  Currently there are lots of toys in the house and she has not shown a need to chew on personal items but she loves to chew on bully sticks and other hard chew toys. DORY would do best in a home with a pet playmate and not as a single dog as she will get bored and lonely.  Her mission is to play, play, nap, eat and play some more.  She is a great cuddler. If you are interested in adopting DORY, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org   She is also potty trained but may have an accident if not let out often enough.  She is also crate trained but she does not like to go in there, she wants to be with you.     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Nushik is super kind girl! Very affectionate and loyal. Always wants to be with you. She loves to chew toys , so I usually leave her in a crate and give her a chew toy to avoid her chewing something else. But after she is done chewing I let her out of the crate. She is ok in a crate but not for super long. Loves other dogs and overall very sweet girl. The reason we are giving her up is that we are moving and cannot take her with us unfortunately. She might be part Shar-pei and part hound . We don’t really know. She loves to run and to jump. Very light on her feet.
