Lady is an adorable 1-year-old Chiweenie who weighs about 25 pounds and has the perfect pocket-sized personality. Sweet, friendly, and full of charm, she gets along with everyone she meets and loves being part of the action. She’s affectionate without being demanding, playful without being wild, and she fits easily into almost any home. Lady is the kind of dog who makes you smile just by being near. If you're looking for a small, loving companion with a big heart, Lady is ready to become your new best friend. Lady will arrive in Albion, NY on December 14 and we would love to have a family waiting for her! Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. Eleanor is a sweet little lovebug waiting for her forever home. She is wee pad and outdoor trained (prefers outside,) loves walks, and prefers nothing better than to snuggle with her human on the couch. She loves to play woth her stuffed toy, and run through the Autumn leaves. She is easygoing, a good listener and catches on to routines very easily. Eleanor is happy to share her home with humans, dogs, and children alike. She most likely would do great with cats as well, though no formal testing has happened. Eleanor sleeps through the night and is an all around good girl. Meet Marshmallow! Marshmallow is a 2-year-old, 16 lb Chiweenie who came to us from a large hoarding case of over 30 dogs — and he’s making an incredible comeback! Despite his rough start, this sweet boy has blossomed into a loving, snuggly companion who’s ready to find his forever home. True to his name, Marshmallow is as soft and sweet as can be. He LOVES cuddles and would happily spend all day curled up in your lap if he could. Once he trusts you, he’s affectionate, loyal, and eager to please. He’s also recently discovered the joy of toys — especially his favorite stuffed animals — and is starting to show his playful, goofy side. Marshmallow enjoys walks and has plenty of energy when he’s out exploring, but inside he’s all about that cozy couch life. He walks nicely on a leash (though he can be a little jumpy with loud noises) and travels quietly on public transit — he’s a great little adventure buddy! He’s done wonderfully with other dogs and cats, preferring calm, friendly company over rough play. While he can be unsure around men at first, with patience and positive reinforcement he’s learning that they can be friends too. Marshmallow is still working on house training and overcoming a bit of resource guarding, but he’s made amazing progress in foster care. With consistency, time, and love, this brave little survivor will continue to thrive. He’s looking for a calm, loving home — someone who can help him continue to build confidence, celebrate his milestones, and enjoy all the snuggles he’s so eager to give. Story
Kush is an 8 year old chiweenie. He’s been with us for the past 6 years and has been a great companion and member of our family. He’s also been difficult, with high baseline anxiety and is extremely protective of my wife. He’s bitten me a few times over the years as a result. We recently had a son (who’s now 2 years old) and initially things were going OK with Kush. We had him on Prozac and he was fairly calm with no biting issues or even close calls. He recently stopped eating his food and taking his medication. Per the vet’s guidance, we stopped the medication so he’d start eating again. However, he’s become far more anxious, growling at our son and recently bit him. It’s heartbreaking, but we can no longer have kush in our household given the risks. When my wife isn’t present, he doesn’t seem to present nearly as high levels of anxiety though, as indicated by the times when it’s just been him and I and when he goes to his dog boarder, with whom he’s had absolutely no issues.

This poor little guy was found stray with a broken leg. It has been surgically repaired, and he is healing well. He is a very nice little dog, thought to be around 18 years old but has spirit and love to give. He is quiet and clean and would be a great senior dog for someone who wants to help. And he sees and hears and loves to explore.
