Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Get ready for some fun to come into your house and your heart.  DORY will add some joy and excitement in you as she is just a spit-fire with a little gip and dip in her dance!! DORY is 5 months old and weighs 8 pounds, for sure she will remain a small breed dog as she only weighed 1.8 pounds at 3 months when I got her.  She is a Chihuahua mix and we are not sure what she is mixed with.  She had a bent front right wrist when I got her and the vet said it was some sort of trauma that happened to her.  DORY wore a splint for 3 weeks to straighten it out and there is no further medical needed as the wrist is healed.  She uses it while running around playing but still sometimes runs without putting the paw down.  There is NOTHING wrong with her wrist and she does NOT need medical attention.  Just being clear as to why she seems to have a limp. DORY loves wrestling and running and playing with all of the dogs in the house.  If you are her size, she has a good time rolling around and just playing tag with the other dog.  If there is a bigger dog in the house, expect DORY to crawl all over the dog, give kisses and just be a pretty pest in the best way possible. She is very smart and watches everything that is going on.  She understands completely what she should and should not be doing.  Currently there are lots of toys in the house and she has not shown a need to chew on personal items but she loves to chew on bully sticks and other hard chew toys. DORY would do best in a home with a pet playmate and not as a single dog as she will get bored and lonely. If you are interested in adopting DORY, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org   She is also potty trained but may have an accident if not let out often enough.  She is also crate trained but she does not like to go in there, she wants to be with you.     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         January 28, 2026, 7:32 am

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This pretty little girl is LUNA, a 9 month old, 12 pound chi-weenie.  She is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix and very social and happy.  She is happy to meet people and gets along with all of the dogs.  LUNA plays very well with the other foster dogs big and small but still likes to be a lap dog and snuggle with you. LUNA would do best in a home with a pet companion as she really does enjoy the company of another dog.  Her energy level is average but may be too much as an only dog. She is crate and potty trained.  Because there are several dogs in the home, LUNA is crated when left alone but has the run of the house while there is an adult present.  She comes alive with little kids, she loves to play with them. Story
Hi, I'm Chi! I'm a small tan-and-white mixed breed dog with a big heart and a sweet, expressive face. I'm an adult pup who loves being close to my person and feeling safe in a calm environment. I need regular walks and do best with a consistent routine. I can have a little separation anxiety, so I'm happiest in a home where someone is around often or willing to help me feel secure with patience and love. Once I'm comfortable, I'm very loyal and affectionate. I'm gentle, sensitive, and loving, and I'd thrive in a quiet, stable home where I can be treated like family. If you're looking for a loyal little companion, I might be your guy. 🐾 Please note the adoption fee is low due to Chi needing updated vaccines. At this time, only records from his initial Vetco visit are available.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Say hello to Evie! Evie is a 3&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old Pomsky weighing about 20 pounds. She arrived with her brother Scout and is now ready to find a loving new home. Evie is a happy, affectionate little dog. She follows her foster mom everywhere and loves to curl up at her feet. Walks are one of her favorite things—she gets so excited when it’s time to go. She also adores the snow and cold weather and will happily lie in the snow when she’s outside. She appears to be housetrained and will also use a potty pad if needed. Evie is crate trained and enjoys car rides almost as much as walks. Evie can be barky when she gets excited, so that’s something to keep in mind. She gets along well with other dogs and loves to run and play outside. She also enjoys her chewies and toys. She has spent time around cats and doesn’t mind them. We know she does well with kids ages 12 and up. Evie is a loving, loyal dog who bonds quickly with her person. She would be thrilled to have an active home where she can go on lots of adventures and explore. She has been professionally groomed and will need regular grooming to keep her coat looking great. Evie is ready to bring joy, fun, and loyalty to her forever family! Evie is spayed, up to date with core vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $475 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 4, 2026, 12:17 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Say hello to Scout! Scout is a 3&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old, 13&#226&#128&#145pound Pomski who came to rescue with his sister after the previous owner could no longer care for them. This fluffy little guy may be small, but Scoot has a huge personality, a joyful spirit, and a whole lot of love to give. Scout is a happy, energetic boy whose absolute favorite thing in the world is walks—lots and lots of walks! The moment the leash comes out, Scout pops into full “adventure mode,” complete with excited spins, happy bounces, and joyful barks. Scout loves exploring, sniffing, and being on the move. If he hears the word walk, the enthusiasm level instantly skyrockets. And when it comes to cold weather—well, Scout’s Husky side shines bright. Snow? Frosty mornings? What cold? Scout lives for wintertime and would play outside endlessly if allowed. A fenced yard is a bonus, but not required—just be prepared for a quick game of “catch me” when it’s time to come inside because he isn’t always ready for the fun to stop. In his foster home, Scout gets along well with other dogs and coexists just fine around cats. He enjoys attention from humans, is social without being pushy, and absolutely loves booty scratches. Scout also rides well in the car and is motivated by treats, which makes training easier. He’s doing well with housetraining and has only had a few accidents—consistency and routine will help him finish polishing those skills. Scout was recently neutered, so a short adjustment period is expected. Because Scout can be vocal when excited or wanting attention, apartment living could be challenging, especially if neighbors prefer quiet. A home where he is free to express that happy Pomsky voice may be a better fit. Kids 12+ have been around Scout and he did fine.  He enjoys attention but can be jumpy and exuberant when excited. Scout is affectionate, sweet, and loves being near people. Once Scout settles in, he will curl up, relax, and even tug blankets around so he can feel a cold draft—very on brand for this little snow lover. Scout is a loving, loyal dog who will thrive with someone who enjoys walking, playing, and spending quality time with their furry companion. If you’re looking for a fun, adventurous buddy who will celebrate every day with you, Scout might just be your perfect match. Scout is now neutered, up to date with core vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and tested neg. for heartworm.  He has also been professionally groomed!  His adoption fee is $475 We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security.
