Meet Star!
Star Hunter is a sweet and gentle 5-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing 16 pounds, with a heart as soft as her soulful eyes. She may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she feels comfortable, her loving and loyal personality truly shines through. She forms strong bonds with her people and will happily stay close, soaking up affection and giving it right back.
This lovely girl gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a fantastic addition to just about any home. She has a calm, easygoing nature but still enjoys her walks and exploring the world by your side. Star Hunter already has great manners—she knows how to use a doggy door and does very well on a leash, making daily routines a breeze.
With a little patience at the start, you’ll quickly discover what a special companion she is. Star Hunter is the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart and become a devoted, loving member of the family.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
