Story
Eleanor is a sweet little lovebug waiting for her forever home. She is wee pad and outdoor trained (prefers outside,) loves walks, and prefers nothing better than to snuggle with her human on the couch. She loves to play woth her stuffed toy, and run through the Autumn leaves. She is easygoing, a good listener and catches on to routines very easily. Eleanor is happy to share her home with humans, dogs, and children alike. She most likely would do great with cats as well, though no formal testing has happened. Eleanor sleeps through the night and is an all around good girl. Story
Kush is an 8 year old chiweenie. He’s been with us for the past 6 years and has been a great companion and member of our family. He’s also been difficult, with high baseline anxiety and is extremely protective of my wife. He’s bitten me a few times over the years as a result. We recently had a son (who’s now 2 years old) and initially things were going OK with Kush. We had him on Prozac and he was fairly calm with no biting issues or even close calls. He recently stopped eating his food and taking his medication. Per the vet’s guidance, we stopped the medication so he’d start eating again. However, he’s become far more anxious, growling at our son and recently bit him. It’s heartbreaking, but we can no longer have kush in our household given the risks. When my wife isn’t present, he doesn’t seem to present nearly as high levels of anxiety though, as indicated by the times when it’s just been him and I and when he goes to his dog boarder, with whom he’s had absolutely no issues.

Abby is a 2 year old Chiweenie female who is 11 lbs. Abby is the sweetest pup who loves to snuggle on the couch and play fetch for a toy. Abby loves the company of another dog and needs a fenced in yard to play. Abby uses washable wee wee pads and/or the yard to potty. Abby really only barks when she is excited about going outside- she is so happy for outdoor time. Abby loves toys and to snuggle and doesn't even mind the cold weather with a little sweater but deep down we know she's a summer girl ! Abby is spayed and has all shots for the year. She is not on any medications other than flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Adopt Abby today !
