Sadly, his mom is unwell and needs to be placed in a nursing home. Nobody in the family is able to care for Frankie so he needs a new home in his twilight years. Frankie is very quiet and spends a lot of his day sleeping. He is a very sweet, friendly companion. Frankie enjoys laying on your lap and likes to be pet around his ears. At just 1 year old and 17 pounds, Tarpon is a little Chiweenie mix with a BIG personality—and an even bigger heart! This handsome little guy is the definition of go with the flow. He arrived in his foster home and quickly settled right in, adapting to his new family like he’d always belonged there. His tail is always wagging, he loves attention, and he’s eager to please. Basically, Tarpon’s philosophy is: If you’re happy, I’m happy… now where are my treats? Tarpon loves people, dogs, walks, playtime, and snuggles. He enjoys exploring outside and happily trots along on leash. Once the adventures are over, he’s more than ready to jump up on the bed and curl up with his humans. And yes, he has already figured out the important rules of life: potty outside = treats! He is house trained, walks well on leash, travels well in the car, and knows “come here.” He loves plush toys, enjoys playing with his foster dog siblings, and has shown no resource guarding or unwanted behaviors. Tarpon is a friendly, adaptable sweetheart who seems to take life as it comes. Whether he’s running around outside, playing with his toys, collecting his potty-training paycheck, or snuggling on the bed, he’s just happy to be included. Peter is 6 pounds . They're both very bonded and can't be without each other .Their both males and the bigger one is bonded very much with his brother/friend. They are shy and scared at first but warm up quickly to people. Loud noises scare them big dogs scare them at first but once they meet them they are good. They are good with smaller dogs and cats. They love food!!! They are using pee pads as of night now and they use a doggie door during the day. They're up to date on all their medical neutered and microchipped.
