It breaks our hearts to write this, but we are looking to rehome our very loved 5-year-old dachshund due to family health reasons. She is fully potty trained, well-mannered indoors, and has been a cherished part of our family. Unfortunately, after welcoming our newborn, our baby developed allergies, and with another baby on the way, we’ve had to make this incredibly difficult decision for everyone’s well-being. She does have a moderate skin condition that is manageable with routine care and attention. She is otherwise healthy and happy. Personality-wise, she is sweet, loyal, and very attached to her people. She would thrive in a calm home where she can receive plenty of love and attention. This decision comes purely out of love and responsibility. We are looking for a family or individual who will treat her as a true family member and give her the life she deserves.
