Meet Norbert! 🐾 Norbert is a 15-pound 4 year old bundle of love with the sweetest little soul. He absolutely adores humans and thrives on attention. If you’re home, he wants to be right by your side. Whether it’s following you from room to room or curling up close on the couch, Norbert is happiest when he’s near his people. Cozy is his love language. If there’s a blanket around, you’ll find him snuggled up on it, perfectly content. He’s doing well with crate time when left alone, but if he knows you’re in the house, he’d much rather be out and close to you. Norbert enjoys playing with his toys and is figuring out games like fetch  but he hasn’t mastered the “bring it back” part just yet, but he’s enthusiastic about trying! His foster mom is continuing to work with him on barking when he hears people outside or sees other dogs. He did well with both dog and cat testing at the shelter, so this may just be excitement that will improve with guidance and consistency. Suspected to be a Chihuahua–Dachshund mix, Norbert is loving, cuddly, and full of personality. He’ll thrive with a family who can continue building his confidence and give him all the affection he so happily returns. At about 15 pounds, she is the ultimate "velcro dog" and truly thrives when she’s right by your side. She’s essentially a perpetual baby who loves to be doted on; if you’re looking for a personal assistant to sit on your lap and keep you company all through the workday, she is already a professional at it! While she is a calm and devoted companion indoors, she still has a playful spirit and absolutely lives for her daily walks and games of fetch.​She is the definition of a "good girl," as she is completely potty trained and has excellent house manners. Because she is so full of love and craves companionship, we are looking for an adopter who has plenty of time to spend with her and will treat her with the tenderness she deserves.
