Meet Chance – So Full of Hope Abandoned, suffering, and covered in horrible mange... all Chance hoped for was someone to care. Imagine being just a year old, all alone in the world, with no warm bed, no gentle touch, and no one to comfort you when your little body is hurting. Chance didn't understand why he had been abandoned. He only knew he was suffering and needed someone to give him a chance. Thankfully, someone finally did. When Chance was found, he was suffering from horrible mange, and his poor skin needed serious care. It's heartbreaking to think about what this tiny boy endured all alone. But his story didn't end in sadness. He was rescued, received the care he desperately needed, and began his journey toward a happier life. This precious 12-pound boy is steadily healing, and although his skin will continue to recover, his sweet spirit is already shining. Despite everything he's endured, Chance has blossomed into the most wonderful little love bug! We're guessing he's a Chiweenie and Jack Russell Terrier mix, but whatever his mix, he's 12 pounds of pure sweetness! He loves other dogs, cats, and kids, and he's ready to fill a home with happiness. Now, Chance needs one more miracle: a forever family. He deserves to know what it's like to be someone's beloved little companion. To curl up in a cozy bed, receive endless belly rubs, and wake up every morning knowing he's safe and loved. He has already survived so much. Now it's his turn to be cherished. Please don't let Chance's difficult past—or his still-healing skin—keep you from seeing the beautiful soul he is. He's come so far and has so much love left to give! Imagine how much joy 12 little pounds of sweetness could bring into your life! Chance doesn't need a perfect past. He just needs someone to open their heart and give him the happy ending he deserves. Please give Chance his chance. Meet Eevee! 💕 This adorable long-haired strawberry blonde gal is approximately 5 years old and weighs around 8 pounds. Eevee did well at the vet where she got a clean bill of health. Her spay surgery and dental cleaning are upcoming and will be covered by Hope Animal Rescue. Eevee is a mellow and well-behaved girl. She loves to walk and play fetch! Eevee can be a little discerning about the people and dogs she feels comfortable with. When she’s unsure, she may communicate that she needs some space by growling or showing her teeth. Rather than being a girl who loves everyone immediately, Eevee will need people who understand her boundaries and are willing to let her build trust at her own pace. Once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet and playful personality really begins to shine! And what a playful side she has! Eevee LOVES playing with her foster mom. 🎾 Balls are her favorite toys, and she absolutely loves to fetch. She has a fun-loving personality that comes out once she knows she’s in a safe place. She is currently living happily alongside other resident dogs, who she peacefully coexists with, but hasn’t shown much interest in playing with. Since she hasn’t had the opportunity to meet other dogs yet, we’re not sure if she simply prefers her own space or if she may enjoy certain doggy friends in the right setting. Eevee will do best with a patient adopter who is willing to let her settle in gradually and respect her communication. She would also benefit from slow, positive introductions and patient socialization to help her discover whether canine playmates are something she enjoys. Eevee is crate trained and making great progress with her house training. With patience, understanding, and a little time to build trust, this sweet little girl has so much potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. 🐾💕

Meet Ludo, a tiny gentleman with a whole lot of love to give. This 2-year-old Chihuahua takes his job as your shadow—and pint-sized bodyguard—very seriously. Wherever you are is exactly where he wants to be, preferably curled up on you on the couch. Ludo can be shy and a little skittish when meeting new people, so he appreciates a little patience while he warms up. Treats are a great way to win him over! Once he feels comfortable, his sweet, silly personality starts to shine. Ludo is equal parts sweet and silly. His favorite things include his Lamb Chop plush, chasing a ball, and apple bits, which he considers a very exciting delicacy. He’s fully house-trained, sleeps like a champ in his crate, and is growing more confident on his leash walks. Don’t let that little concerned face fool you: Ludo is a total love bug. He’s ready to bring his funny little strut, devoted companionship, and expert cuddling skills to a family of his own.

Meet Max! Max is a 5.2 pound senior chihuahua looking for a kind and quiet home. He is estimated to be about 5 years old. Max loves to snuggle, sit directly on top of whatever he can find, and he will play fetch until he passes out! Max is very spry and "fox-like" for his age, always hopping to his next destination. Max loves other dogs, cats, and older kids that are not overly loud. He doesn't chew or eat anything he's not supposed to and is a little shy around food, especially when other pets are present. With his small stature comes nervousness. He doesn't like loud cars/trucks, or any sudden loud noises. He is a companion and shadow at his core and just wants to be held, cuddled, and loved. Because of that, he does have separation anxiety and a reputation for nervously marking things. He does very well in a crate, but would much prefer to sleep under the covers with you at your feet. He can be vocal but isn't overly yappy. He's been called "quiet for his breed.” He cries when he's alone for too long, and can get nippy when feeling anxious or threatened. Because of that he is not ideal for small or loud children but would thrive with a 10+ year old companion. He is great at outings and loves to tag along for everything. Max is housebroken and semi-leash trained but hasn’t really gotten the hang of going for walks. He will need a fenced yard but someone will also need to go out with him as he doesn't like to be outside by himself. He is loyal and loving and a perfect fit for someone who spends a lot of time at home. Max is neutered, up to date on shots, and is now on HW preventative. He is due for a dental and CRT is in process of getting this done.
