Story
Lola is a 9 year old brindle Chihuahua Daschund mix. When we first got her we did not have any children for two years and she was treated as our only child. We now have two toddlers and a newborn and the added responsibility of a dog who needs more attention than we can give her now weighs on us daily. She is a high energy dog who would love to go on walks, She would prefer to be in a more quiet home with less chaos/anxiety inducing activity going on around her. She is very anxious when in a crowd or when new people are over and the unpredictable nature of kids seems to scare her. Ideally we will find her a loving home with no children or other pets. We have all of her vet records/receipts from over the years.

Bean is a 2-month-old baby boy (DOB 12-6-25) packed full of adorable cuteness overload and certified puppy joy. His mom was a Chihuahua, his dad… well, let’s just say Dad is a mystery man of intrigue. Judging by Bean’s short little legs and longish body, we suspect there may have been a low-riding dachshund involved in the family tree somewhere! Whatever his recipe is, the result is absolutely delicious. This sweet nugget is expected to grow up to be around 20 pounds – the perfect portable size for tagging along on coffee runs, weekend adventures, or supervising your Target trips from the cart like the VIP he is. Bean is your classic happy-go-lucky puppy who wakes up every day like, “BEST DAY EVER!” He comes fully equipped with all the standard puppy features: • professional zoomies • expert wiggle-butt • sloppy kisses • random bursts of chaos • lap snuggle mode • and a PhD in Toy Destruction 101 At his young age, Bean would do great with other dogs, kiddos, and even cats if introduced properly. Meet Rocco: Rocco is estimated to be about a 2 year old (as of December 2025) chihuahua mix (best guess) that weighs 16 pounds. Rocco was found as a stray around some garbage cans looking for food. Rocco is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Rocco has a very sweet personality. Rocco gets along well with other dogs. Rocco can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Rocco loves snuggling in your lap and is a really sweet boy. Due to Rocco’s size, we would recommend a home with children over 7 or children with dog experience. Rocco is house trained and prefers to cuddle in bed at night with you. We would love for Rocco to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely, but it is not a requirement. Rocco is up to date on his shots and neutered. "Do you like Velcro dogs?  Are you looking for a shadow/cuddle buddy?  Do you like to take walks?  If so, Gerald and his extra large kissable ears would love to meet you! Gerald demands to be in the presence of his people at all times and gets along with three other dogs of similar size in his current foster home.  Gerald has free run of the house when the humans are not at home and is not destructive.  He enjoys sleeping in the humans' bed and hanging out in the fenced back yard.  Gerald is very playful and affectionate once he gets to know and trust a person. He loves to be held and to snuggle. One of his favorite things is to sleep under the blankets with his people. He thrives on human interaction and just wants to give and receive love. Gerald is estimated to be about a 7 year old (as of August 2025) chihuahua / Jack Russel terrier mix that weighs around 19 pounds. Gerald is currently being fostered in the Lancaster, PA area and would love to meet his forever family. Gerald has a little bit of hair loss due to a previous flea allergy. With or without the fur, Gerald is a handsome guy. He is good with other dogs that are his size. He is still active, although not as playful as the younger pups. He would do best in a home without cats, as his prey drive kicks in when he sees the foster's cats. Gerald is house trained. We would love for Gerald to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely, however it is not a requirement. Gerald is up to date on his shots and neutered. Meet Jake: Jake is about a 1.5 year old (as of December 2025) chiweenie or perhaps a rat terrier/weenie mix (best guess) that weighs about 29 pounds. Jake was found with 2 other dogs, that we presume are his brothers, dumped in a forested area in rural Tennessee. These poor babies didn’t have any food or water near them and were luckily rescued in time to rehabilitate to good heath! Jake is currently being fostered in the Lititz, PA area and would love to meet his forever family!  Jake can be slow to warm up but once he does, you'll have a buddy for life. He is a shadow dog who just loves being around his people.  If you sit on the couch he will not only join you but will want to be cuddled up with you. Jake is extremely playful, energetic and friendly. He gets along well with other dogs in the house he is being fostered in. Jake is a great little dog and will make a great family pet. He loves kids and likes to rotate sleeping in the beds of the children in his foster home each night.   Jake is house trained and crate trained. He walks well on a leash. Jake is up to date on his shots and neutered.
