While Lizzie did give motherhood a brief try, she has made it very clear that her true calling is being the baby, not raising them. She’s much happier focusing on herself, enjoying walks, attention, and living that carefree only-dog or spoiled-pet life. Lizzie would thrive in a home where she can be loved, doted on, and appreciated for who she is: a sweet, sassy little dog who knows exactly what she does (and does not) want out of life. Rex the Chiweenie is back on the market 😔 Unfortunately he had some separation anxiety and didn’t do well living as an only dog… so definitely needs another doggie buddy in the household this time around and someone home more often than not. He’s just over a year old, an insecure nervous little baby, nervous at first with strangers, but bonds and warms up quickly and then is a silly happy playful puppy, a lot of fun. He loves playing with his doggie friends, is still working on housebreaking and will need some patience with that but learning from following his doggie friends. He’s only 10lbs and we were told a chiweenie, but we could see some min pin or Jack Russell in there too and he has a cute little half-tail like a terrier. Rex is neutered, updated on shots, and ready to find the right forever home. Email njwoof@cs.com to meet him in Northern NJ Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. To streamline adoptions, all communication before, during, and after the adoption process is done through email only: we have limited volunteers able to return phone calls. I live with young kiddos too and tolerate anything they throw my way - even a little lipstick! I sleep through the night in my crate and I am learning to use the pads to go potty. I am doing really well with sticking to the pads! It's WAY too cold for me to be outside in this weather all the time but when it warms up I will start to master going outside! I love to play with toys and I like to play with my sister. I am a pretty chill girl for such a young pup - yes I like to romp and wrestle but my foster mom says I am pretty go with the flow!
