She’s friendly, loves people, and enjoys being near her humans—especially if cuddles or attention are involved. While Lizzie did give motherhood a brief try, she has made it very clear that her true calling is being the baby, not raising them. She’s much happier focusing on herself, enjoying walks, attention, and living that carefree only-dog or spoiled-pet life. Lizzie would thrive in a home where she can be loved, doted on, and appreciated for who she is: a sweet, sassy little dog who knows exactly what she does (and does not) want out of life. Story
Lola is a 9 year old brindle Chihuahua Daschund mix. When we first got her we did not have any children for two years and she was treated as our only child. We now have two toddlers and a newborn and the added responsibility of a dog who needs more attention than we can give her now weighs on us daily. She is a high energy dog who would love to go on walks, She would prefer to be in a more quiet home with less chaos/anxiety inducing activity going on around her. She is very anxious when in a crowd or when new people are over and the unpredictable nature of kids seems to scare her. Ideally we will find her a loving home with no children or other pets. We have all of her vet records/receipts from over the years.

Being taken out of that situation when it’s all you’ve ever known is a bit of an adjustment, they have just gone into foster homes, and with patience and a bit of time we are confident they can adjust into a normal life. None of the dogs were nippy, just nervous. With this in mind we would recommend no small children or hectic households. They are all used to other dogs and a confident doggy companion in the home would be great. Apply now available to go home mid February.
