PLEASE COMPLETE THE ADOPTION APPLICATION FIRST. WE DO NOT RESPOND TO ONLINE INQUIRIES – ONLY ADOPTION APPLICANTS. ADOPTION LINK: https://airtable.com/appJMHBItTE2RWdqD/shrsP6tKWM2HcFZaA GEORGIA ADOPTIONS ONLY – WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE. Located in Atlanta, GA Sweet Mouse is a gentle and sensitive girl eagerly searching for her forever home. She thrives on structure and routine and would prefer a calm environment with no small children, as she's easily startled by surprises. Mouse is a quick learner, fully housebroken, and feels safest in her crate, which she uses as her personal safe space. She also understands "place" and responds well to boundaries. Mouse is very comfortable around other dogs, though she's still learning boundaries and can be a little pushy with them at times with zero concept of personal space (with dogs only - not humans… yet). She responds well to fair corrections from other dogs and needs a patient dog in her new home.   Mouse needs an understanding adopter who will give her space and allow her to build trust at her own pace; she's not a lap dog (yet!) and prefers a gentle, slow introduction to new people and situations.

Story
Joey is a sweet boy that loves being with his owner and having his head petted. He loves snuggling on the couch and laying under blankets because he gets cold easily. He does not like being left alone and can be barky as a result. For this reason, he is not ideal in an apartment or condo. He is good with smaller dogs once he acclimates, but is fearful of larger dogs. He can be nervous and requires a calm owner and predictable routines. I adopted Joey when he was six and have been his owner for five years. Even though he is 11 years old, he has a lot of energy, likes to play fetch with small plushies, and likes his daily walks. I recently had to return to working from my office this has not been beneficial to him as I am away for long hours. I feel he would be better served in a home with people around for most of the day.

Story
Gracie has been with our family for about 9 months now. We fostered her from a family that needed help and couldn’t care for her financially at the time. They never came back for her and we already have two other dogs and a cat in the home, so it’s a lot of animals in one home. Gracie is up to date on her shots and is spayed. She enjoys playing with her house mates and generally knows that the cat doesn’t want to play with her. Gracie enjoys cuddling and lots of love. She loves her daily walks and doesn’t miss a meal! A unique trait about Gracie is that she doesn’t typically bark if she’s alone. One of our other dogs barks so she will sometimes join in, but if she’s on her own, she doesn’t bark. Well, she’s generally a well mannered dog, she does get excited it needs to be reminded about behaving. Gracie loves being outside and regular walks. She’ll walk as long as you’re willing to go! She could use some help with her walking manners as she really loves to run instead of walk.
