Story
6-year-old Chipoo (Chihuahua/Poodle mix) with the sweetest personality and a big love for people. He’s a loyal, affectionate little guy who truly thrives on attention and being close to his humans. He is fully house-trained and well-mannered in the home. Like many small dogs, he can be a bit of a barker, especially when he’s excited or wants to let you know someone’s around. He does best in a home where he won’t be left alone for long periods, as he can experience some separation anxiety and prefers companionship.

Story
Joey is a sweet boy that loves being with his owner and having his head petted. He loves snuggling on the couch and laying under blankets because he gets cold easily. He does not like being left alone and can be barky as a result. For this reason, he is not ideal in an apartment or condo. He is good with smaller dogs once he acclimates, but is fearful of larger dogs. He can be nervous and requires a calm owner and predictable routines. I adopted Joey when he was six and have been his owner for five years. Even though he is 11 years old, he has a lot of energy, likes to play fetch with small plushies, and likes his daily walks. I recently had to return to working from my office this has not been beneficial to him as I am away for long hours. I feel he would be better served in a home with people around for most of the day.

Story
Gracie has been with our family for about 9 months now. We fostered her from a family that needed help and couldn’t care for her financially at the time. They never came back for her and we already have two other dogs and a cat in the home, so it’s a lot of animals in one home. Gracie is up to date on her shots and is spayed. She enjoys playing with her house mates and generally knows that the cat doesn’t want to play with her. Gracie enjoys cuddling and lots of love. She loves her daily walks and doesn’t miss a meal! A unique trait about Gracie is that she doesn’t typically bark if she’s alone. One of our other dogs barks so she will sometimes join in, but if she’s on her own, she doesn’t bark. Well, she’s generally a well mannered dog, she does get excited it needs to be reminded about behaving. Gracie loves being outside and regular walks. She’ll walk as long as you’re willing to go! She could use some help with her walking manners as she really loves to run instead of walk.
