Story
Pimpi | Male | 22 lbs | 5 years old | Chihuahua mix | Condo-friendly! Showing that resilience and strength can come in the tiniest (and fluffiest!) packages, Pimpi has survived a lot to get here. He suffered from distemper when living in a shelter, but has now fully recovered with only a small and harmless tic that does not hold him back in any way and is often barely noticeable. Pimpi is healthy, adorable, friendly, and ready to go home! Here are just a couple of qualities that make Pimpi an amazing companion: --He's medium energy: This means he's playful and loves to walk, but he's happy to chill and let you work or relax when play time is done. --He's VERY friendly with other people: He believes strangers are just friends he hasn't met yet. He hasn't had much kid exposure but would likely be fine with them. --He likes other dogs: He's friendly with them but not overly enthused. In short, Pimpi plays it cool and isn't thirsty. He's not gonna drag you across the street to meet every retriever and shepherd he sees. --He loves to play fetch: (Fun) --Walks well on leash: Minimal pulling --Fully house trained: Huge news for your carpets --No separation anxiety, and no resource guarding: Low-Maintenance king --He's small and so adorable. Pimpi is just an all around great dog. He's loving, playful, and easy-going. He'd thrive in all kinds of home environments from condo or apartment to home with a yard. QUICK FACTS Name: Eeyu Age: 4 years old (Born April 2022) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Chihuahua/Jindo mix Color: Light Brown Weight:  5.8kg / 12.8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from an animal hoarding situation where I was living alongside many other animals without the individual care and attention every dog deserves. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and brought me to safety, giving me the chance to leave that difficult environment behind. Now I’m ready for a fresh start and a forever family where I can finally experience what it means to be truly loved, cared for, and cherished as part of the family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date I had a history of seizures from April to August 2023 and was treated with oral medication. Since I remained healthy and symptom-free, the medication was discontinued. In November 2025, I experienced one seizure lasting less than five minutes. Thankfully, I have not experienced any additional seizures or related symptoms since then.   MY PERSONALITY I’m super cute and even tinier in person! I can be a little shy when we first meet and may try to keep my distance while I figure out whether I’m safe. Gentle approaches and letting me move at my own pace are the best ways to earn my trust, and tasty treats definitely help! The good news is that I warm up pretty quickly. Give me about 30 minutes, some patience, and a few yummy treats, and I’ll start coming to you for pets and affection. During my profile photoshoot, I did so well and, once I felt comfortable, I kept rubbing my little body against everyone asking for more pets!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a little shy when we first meet and need some time to feel safe and comfortable. Tasty treats are definitely the way to my heart, and with a little patience, I usually warm up pretty quickly! I know I’m super tiny and cute, so it can be hard to resist picking me up right away, but sudden approaches can make me nervous. Let me get to know and trust you first, and once I feel safe, you’ll get to see my sweet and affectionate side. · With Dogs: I’m friendly with my dog friends and get along especially well with dogs who have a similar energy level. I also do well sharing my space with the other dogs at the care facility. While I’m friendly, I’m not afraid to stand my ground if another dog is being pushy or rude. Thoughtful introductions and some supervision in the beginning will help everyone get comfortable and set us up for a happy relationship. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a high energy level and love spending time outdoors, exploring, and staying active! Once I’ve had enough exercise and excitement, I’m also happy to head indoors and relax comfortably. In new environments, I may pace around as I take everything in and can sometimes have a hard time staying focused because I’m eager to keep moving and exploring. With time, a consistent routine, and plenty of appropriate outlets for my energy, I should become more comfortable settling into my surroundings.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk nicely on leash and follow my handler’s lead well. I also have good manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs. I know how to settle calmly in my kennel and can get in and out of the car on my own. I may shake a little during car rides because I’m still getting used to them, but overall I stay calm. With more positive exposure and practice, I should become more comfortable travelling in the car. For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding of my shy nature and willing to be patient while I come out of my shell   SPECIAL NOTES I may be tiny, but I have a big personality packed into my little body! I’m an energetic, curious girl who loves exploring and staying busy, and once I feel comfortable, my sweet and affectionate side quickly comes out. I can be shy when we first meet, so the best way to win me over is with patience, gentle approaches, and of course, some tasty treats. I know my tiny size makes it tempting to scoop me up right away, but letting me come to you first will help me feel safe and build trust. Once I decide you’re my person, you’ll see just how much love this tiny girl has to give. I’m looking for a family who will give me the time to settle in, plenty of adventures to enjoy, and a safe place to finally call home.   EEYU'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com   ##2852998##

QUICK FACTS Name: Bari Age: About 4 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Chihuahua Color: Brown and Beige Weight: 4kg / 8.8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city shelter, where I had been placed at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and brought me to safety, giving me a second chance and the opportunity to experience kindness and care. Now, I’m leaving that uncertain chapter behind and looking forward to a brighter future with a loving forever family to call my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues Patellar luxation surgery   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Bari! I’m a tiny, irresistibly adorable little dog with a personality that makes people fall in love almost instantly. My small size and sweet expression are enough to bring a smile to anyone’s face, but what really makes me special is just how much I adore people. If there’s a human nearby, chances are that’s exactly where I want to be! I’m incredibly affectionate and have absolutely no problem making new friends. Even if we’ve only just met, I may happily roll onto my back and show you my belly, inviting you to give me some love. And if those belly rubs are especially good, don’t be surprised if I get so comfortable that I start drifting off to sleep right there! Apparently, I have a talent for turning a first introduction into a very cozy cuddle session. What makes me especially charming is how effortlessly I connect with people. I don’t need elaborate games or exciting adventures to enjoy myself. Sometimes, all I really want is someone willing to sit beside me, offer a gentle hand, and let me enjoy a few peaceful moments of affection. I may be small, but I have an enormous amount of love to share. I’d be a wonderful match for someone looking for a sweet, affectionate little companion who genuinely enjoys human company. Whether I’m showing off my adorable belly, relaxing under your gentle touch, or simply making you smile with my tiny appearance, I have a feeling I’ll find plenty of ways to brighten your day. All I’m missing now is a family to call my own—and perhaps a very comfortable spot for all those belly rubs!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m naturally friendly and affectionate with people, and I happily approach both familiar faces and new people to say hello and ask for attention. I love leaning in for affection and am comfortable being petted, even by someone I’ve just met. I’m so open and trusting that I may even roll over and show my belly to a complete stranger! I’m also comfortable being gently picked up with an arm supporting me under my belly. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown. · With Dogs: I’m friendly and social with other dogs, and I love approaching both familiar and new friends to say hello and invite them to play. I have a gentle, easygoing approach to socializing, and even if another dog tries to provoke me, I usually prefer to walk away and avoid conflict rather than engage. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward. I’m still working on my leash skills and getting used to going on walks. With continued practice, patience, and consistent guidance, I can gradually become more comfortable and confident on my walks.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs I’m calm and settled when I’m in a kennel. I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can relax, feel secure, and be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    BARI'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2864157##
