This sweet girl is just 1 year old and weighs 14 lbs, making her the perfect size to cuddle up with you on the couch. Morti is a true indoor dog, and when she's not snuggling, you can find her relaxing peacefully in her dog bed. She loves her chew toys and treats and is a pro at using her indoor voice! Morti is housebroken and gets along swimmingly with other dogs, making her an ideal companion for a playful pup looking for a friend. She's a bit shy and timid, so she'd love a patient family who can help her come out of her shell and feel safe and loved. Morti adores spending time outside, especially when she can chase squirrels and birds in a secure, fenced yard. She's a speedy little thing and loves to run!  QUICK FACTS Name: Kongsoon Age: Around 2 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Chihuahua, Jindo mix Color: Brown Weight: 10kg / 22lbs Fully Vaccinated, Microchipped, and Dewormed.   MY RESCUE STORY Hi! I’m Kongsoon. I was rescued from a city pound where I was sadly placed on the euthanasia list because there wasn’t enough space. Luckily, kind rescuers saw my spirit and gave me a second chance at life! Now, I’m safe, healthy, and ready to find my forever home.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY When you meet me, you’ll notice just how charming I am! My face is a rare and adorable mix of a Jindo and a Chihuahua — a combination you don’t see every day! I’m a little shy at first, but with gentle encouragement, I warm up quickly. I also get along well with other dogs and enjoy making new furry friends.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a little shy at first, but with some time and tasty treats, I quickly warm up and enjoy being petted. Once I trust you, I’ll happily show my belly — and you can even pick me up! · With Dogs: I’m friendly with dogs! I love meeting new furry friends, and playtime is one of my favorite parts of the day. I generally get along best with dogs bigger than me. · With Cats: I haven’t had much experience with cats yet, so my reaction is still unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a high energy level and need plenty of playtime and walks outside before I can relax and settle indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk well on leash and follow my handler’s lead nicely. I don’t guard my food against people, but I can be sensitive around other dogs during mealtime and may growl to protect my space — separate feeding is recommended with multiple dogs. I can bark for attention or when meeting strangers, but I rest calmly in my kennel and prefer to potty outdoors. I do have some separation anxiety and, in the past, have chewed or had accidents when left alone. I’ll need guidance and patience as I adjust to my new family. I’m full of energy and love adventures, so it’s important I get plenty of exercise and playtime before being left alone.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A very active family that will provide me with plenty of outdoor walks and adventure! A family who understands my love for food and is patient in helping me feel comfortable eating around other dogs. A family that understands my initial shyness and provide me with gentle encouragement so I learn to become more confident.   SPECIAL NOTES I warm up quickly and absolutely adore people! I love snuggling with my foster family at night and showering them with kisses. I get along well with all dogs, though I need a little guidance around food — I don’t mind sharing treats, but I’m sensitive if other dogs approach my bowl during mealtime. I have a playful, mischievous side that keeps life fun and entertaining! While I usually rest calmly in my kennel, I’ve recently started a little game of sneaking away, showing off my cheeky personality. I’m a level 2 rescue dog, which means I’ll need a few days to settle in and may be a bit shy at first in my new home.   Kongsoon's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2572827##

Story
Quick Facts Name: VeroAge: 7 years oldGender: Female (Spayed)Breed: ChihuahuaColor: Black & WhiteWeight: 3.5 kg / 8 lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   My Personality Hello! I’m Vero. I may be small, but my story runs deep. I spent the early part of my life as a mother, raising pups in a home that bred dogs like me. Though I wasn't always treated as the cherished companion I longed to be, I never stopped hoping for that kind of love. Now, I’m stepping into a new chapter. I can be a little reserved at first who wouldn’t be, after all I’ve been through? But if you offer me a treat or speak to me gently, you’ll quickly see how affectionate I really am. Once I feel safe, I become incredibly loving, following my people around and leaning in for attention. I’m calm, clever, and quietly loyal. And yes, I’ll even roll over to show you my belly when I feel at ease.   My Social Life        •      With People: I warm up quickly, especially if snacks are involved! I haven’t spent time around young children, but I do well with adults who are gentle and respectful. You can pick me up easily, and I’m happiest snuggled close to someone I trust.        •      With Other Dogs: I don’t mind being around other dogs, especially those my size, but I’m more of a companion than a playmate. I prefer peaceful coexistence and usually keep to myself. That said, I do like my food, so I’d appreciate a little space at mealtime just to make sure no one tries to sneak a bite of my bowl.        •      With Cats: I haven’t met a cat yet, so we’re not sure how I’d feel. A careful, slow introduction would be best if one is in the family.   On My Walks I’m an experienced walker and enjoy exploring at a calm, steady pace. I don’t pull on the leash and stay close to my person. it’s one of the best parts of my day! After a nice walk, I’m happy to curl up and rest quietly.   Life at Home At home, I’m an easy and well-mannered housemate. I know how to use pee pads and also do my business outside. I’m flexible like that!  Occasionally, I’ll bark if I want something, but mostly, I’m a quiet observer who’s happy just being near the people I love. Though I’ve spent much of my life focused on motherhood, I’m now ready to be someone’s baby to receive the attention and love I always gave to others. I may have lived in the background before, but I have so much warmth and affection waiting to be shared.   My Ideal Home I’m looking for a calm, kind home where I can finally relax and be loved for who I am. Whether you’re a single person looking for a gentle shadow or a quiet family wanting a sweet companion, I think we might be a match. My perfect home would have:        •      A patient and loving person who understands that trust is earned gently        •      A peaceful environment without too much chaos or commotion        •      Someone who sees my quiet charm and gives me space to shine I’ve lived a life where gentleness was rare. With love, I’ll blossom into the devoted companion I was always meant to be.   Vero's YouTube Playlist ##2632057##

Story
Age is estimated to be 4 years. Weight is 8 pounds. Breed: chihuahua mix. Commands: Kyle knows his name and will come when called. We are working on "stay" and "off". Food: kibble, which he enjoys. He self-regulates so his food is put down and he eats when he chooses. He gets 1/4 cup three times each day. Not food-driven but he gets treats as rewards. Is not destructive. Little interest in toys. Squeaky toys scare him. Low energy. No interest in being outside although this may change after winter. Housetrained but we stick to a routine and take him out about every four hours. He's eager to do what is necessary and quickly goes inside. No interest in meeting new people. He keeps his distance from visitors but allows slow approach  and gentle petting. Hasn't met other dogs or cats. Came in with several other dogs and was good with them Walks reasonably well on leash. Crated overnight and when alone during the day to increase his sense of security. Fosters are home most of the time. Rarely barks. Kyle is adorable and really wants to cuddle with his special person, nothing more. His ideal home would be spending quiet time with a female who can give him time to warm to her and feel safe. He's a wonderful little chap. He is still quite fearful of men    .    January 6, 2026, 2:20 pm

QUICK FACTS Name: Butter Age: About 3 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Chihuahua Mix Color: Black and Brown Weight: 4kg / 8.8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was on the list for euthanasia at a crowded city pound, but kind people rescued me just in time! I am now ready to begin a new journey with my new forever family!   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I may be small but big at heart! I might seem shy at first but that’s just the first impression! Once I open up I send lots of love and affection, and I am strong-willed! Although I may be smaller than a lot of my dog friends, I get along very well with them! Can I also say how much I love lying on your lap? I can’t wait to meet you!    MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I may be shy at first but with a little bit of time and treats, I can be held and I will even show you my belly!  · With Dogs: I say hello to dog friends, but I enjoy my personal space. When another dog provokes me, I avoid it by leaving the space.  · With Cats: Reaction to cats are unknown, but a cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy my time outdoors and like snuggling inside just as much! I am an experienced walker and will follow you where you want to go!   TRAINING & HABITS · I do not guard my food from other dogs and people. · I rarely bark, but I may bark at times when I see strangers. · I am calm when placed in a kennel. · I usually potty outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I may be small and might seem shy at first, but I adapt quickly to the new environment! I am very affectionate and like to lie down on your lap!   Butter's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2621324##

Current Location: Korea 🇰🇷 🐾✨ Meet JISU — A Gentle & Sweet Pom Mix Girl Looking for Her Forever Family ✨🐾 🌸 A soft soul who just wants to belong. 🌸 📌 Basic Info 🐶 Name: Jisu (JISU) 🎀 Age: 3 years old 👧 Gender: Female ⚖️ Weight: 4.9 kg 🐾 Breed: Pomeranian Mix 💉 Vaccinations / Spay-Neuter: Completed 💛 Personality & Charm Jisu is shy at first, but she really wants to be close to people. She quietly stays nearby, observes, trusts slowly… and then one day, she melts into your arms and holds on tight. 🥹💞 Calm, gentle, and loving — the perfect companion for a peaceful home. 👨‍👩‍👧 With Adults & Kids 🧑 Adults: Takes time to warm up, but becomes affectionate and loyal once she trusts you 🧒 Kids: Calm and gentle, okay with being next to them or being touched ⚠️ If kids run or shout loudly, she chooses to observe from a distance 🐶 With Other Animals 🐕 Dogs: Excellent! — polite greetings and sometimes playful with her favorite friends 🐱 Cats: Good! — sniffs and ignores 🦜 Lives peacefully with a parrot in her foster home 🚽 House-training ✨ 100% reliable! ✔ Outdoor potty ✔ Indoor pee pads ✔ Balcony turf ➡️ Very easy and stress-free 🔋 Energy Level ⚡ Low ~ Medium 🏡 Quiet and peaceful at home 🐕 At the park, lightly plays with familiar friends or just jogs along with the group 🗣 Separation Anxiety / Barking / Aggression 💛 Separation anxiety: ❌ 🔔 Barking: ❌ (very minimal) 💥 Aggression: ❌ If scared, she may growl or bark once/twice to say “I’m uncomfortable” — never attacks. 🚶‍♀️ Walks & Car Rides 🌳 Loves walking 🪑 If you sit on a bench, she sits right beside you for comfort 🥹 🚗 Excellent in the car — even waits politely before getting in 🏃 Escape Tendency Because she can get startled, double safety (double leash + secure harness) is recommended. In familiar places, even if the leash slips, she stays close and doesn’t run far. ➡️ Once bonded, she wants to stay within her person’s sight ❤️ 🐾 Rescue Story Jisu lived one year at Gokseong Shelter with her sister Subin. On the day they were scheduled for euthanasia, both were rescued together. She was pregnant at the time and later gave birth to three puppies (she is 💗 Pony’s mom). Now, after everything she has survived… it’s finally her turn to be loved. 📍 Jisu is ready for her forever home. She doesn’t need much — just patience, kindness, and a safe heart to land in. 🤍 If you think she may be the missing piece of your family…♡

QUICK FACTS Name: Ijin Age: 6 years Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Pomeranian Color: Brown and white Weight: 4kg / 8.8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a puppy mill in Gapyeong where I had repeatedly given birth. With the help of the kind rescuers, I have been given a chance at life and I am ready to meet my forever family!   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues Removal of bladder stones   MY PERSONALITY When I was first rescued from the puppy mill, I was frightened. There was a lot that I didn’t know, everything was new. But with the help of the rescuers, I learned to be curious about the world and opened up. I learned about snacks! I love snacks, but I don’t guard my food from other dogs or people! I also like resting and watching other dog friends play! It shows that I am a mom – inside and out! I am still learning about this new environment, but with patience and love, I am ready to be your forever family and friend!    MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I may be shy at first but with snacks and a little bit of time, I will open up quickly and can be pet and be held in your arms! I have yet met children under the age of 13. · With Dogs: I like to say hello to dogs but enjoy my personal space, but I do feel more supported with other dogs around. · With Cats: I am not sure what cats are yet! (Cat test can be conducted upon request to ensure best fit)   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have low energy level – I like to rest and snuggle and cuddle up. On walks, I am experienced and will follow you where you want to go.   TRAINING & HABITS I do not guard my food from dogs and people and I rarely bark. I am calm when placed in the kennel and I can potty both inside and outside. I will need training with basic manners as I have very little experience.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys our time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   Ijin's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2617875##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Chester Age: Estimated to be 5-6 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Pomeranian, spitz mix Color: Cream, Beige Weight: 5.38kg / 12lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city pound after being placed on the euthanasia list—not because of anything I did, but simply because there were too many dogs and not enough space or resources to care for us all. Despite that frightening start, I’ve held onto my sweet, gentle spirit. Now I’m just hoping for a family who will give me the love, safety, and second chance I’ve been waiting for.   MY HEALTH Neutered & Currently no known health issues All vaccinations up-to-date Received patellar luxation surgery on both back legs in June 2025.   MY PERSONALITY I’m incredibly cute—people say I look just like a little doll in real life. I’m a calm, gentle soul whose favorite pastime is finding the perfect cozy spot to curl up and soak in some sunshine. What can I say? I’m a bit of a couch potato and definitely an introvert at heart. I’m a super quiet, sweet boy who loves a peaceful, comfy life.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m very friendly with people, and nothing makes me happier than soaking up pets and affection while lounging in my favorite resting spot. I’m perfectly fine being picked up too—I love the extra closeness! · With Dogs: I’m a bit more indifferent with dog friends. I politely greet new dogs, but after that I prefer to do my own thing and cozy up in my favorite spot. High-energy or larger dogs can feel a little overwhelming for me, so I’m happiest around calmer companions. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a low, calm energy level—I’m a true couch potato who loves snuggling in my bed all day. Volunteers and staff quickly learned that I’m not shy or scared; I just genuinely enjoy my cozy rest time. At first, I need a little convincing to start my walk (sometimes they pick me up and carry me outside!), but once I’m out in the fresh air, I happily trot along and enjoy a gentle stroll.   TRAINING & HABITS I’ll need a bit more leash training and help building confidence during my walks. When I get scared, I sometimes freeze or lie flat on the ground. I don’t guard my food against people or other dogs, and I’m a very quiet boy who rarely ever barks. I rest calmly in my kennel and potty both indoors (using a pee pad) and outdoors. I may do a little marking at first in a brand-new environment, but that usually improves as I settle in.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with love and attention. A family that understands that I will need more guidance with leash walking. Ideally the only dog in the household, or with another calm and low energy dog sibling that can match my energy level.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a super easygoing and very quiet boy, and I’ll be a calm, gentle addition to any family. My favorite activities are doing little sniff inspections and curling up in my favorite resting spot. I don’t have a big appetite, and overall I’m low-maintenance and peaceful. I’m considered a level 2 rescue dog, so I’ll need at least several days to a week to settle into a new environment, and I must be double-leashed outside for my safety. I thrive in calm, predictable homes because loud noises and energetic dogs can overwhelm me. I’m still building my confidence on walks and sometimes freeze when I get scared, so I’ll need a patient family who can guide me with reassurance. I may mark a bit while adjusting, but with consistency, I learn quickly. With the right home, I know I’ll blossom into the sweetest, most loyal companion.   Chester's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2589534##
