Story
Meet Minty: Your Future Best Friend! About Minty: Minty is a sweet and gentle 2-year-old Chihuahua mix who has come a long way from her days in a municipal shelter. We don’t know much about her past, but her initial fear and distrust indicate she might have had a tough start in life. When she was first rescued, she was shaking and scared, unsure of the world around her. Personality: Minty is a loving and loyal companion once she gets to know you. Although she was initially wary of both men and women, with time and patience, she has learned to trust and even show affection to her caretakers. She is a bit of a shy girl, especially around men, and may take a while to warm up to new people. However, with gentle and understanding handling, she blossoms into a loving and loyal friend. Living Situation: Minty currently lives in a kennel in Turkey, but she’s ready to find her forever home. She can coexist with cats, though she’s a bit timid around them. She would do best with a submissive and calm dog companion if there’s another dog in the home. Favorite Things: Minty absolutely loves her treats! They are the key to her heart and can help in building trust and bonding with her. Ideal Home: Minty needs a patient and understanding family who can give her the time she needs to adjust and feel safe. Because of her fear of men, she might do better in a household with women or with very gentle and patient men. A calm and peaceful environment would be perfect for her, where she can feel secure and loved. Adoption Requirements: A patient and understanding adopter A calm household Gentle handling and care Preferably a female adopter or very patient males Submissive and calm dog companions (if any) Willingness to give Minty the time she needs to trust and settle Minty can fly to Toronto or Vancouver when she finds her forever home! If you think you can offer Minty the loving and secure home she deserves, please apply; https://www.cheers2paws.org/dog-adoption-form

Story
Introducing the darling Jennifer, a petite 2-year-old Chihuahua-Jindo mix weighing in at a delightful 10 kilograms. This precious pup has quite the story to tell, having been rescued from a kill shelter alongside her precious puppies. Jennifer is what you might call a "people person" in the canine world. She adores meeting new friends and welcomes them with open paws, allowing even strangers to lavish her with pets and cuddles. In fact, she's quite the social butterfly and doesn't mind being carried around like the little queen she is. And oh, don't even get her started on belly rubs – she's practically an expert at melting hearts with her irresistible display of a soft, fluffy belly begging for attention. Having been a devoted mom to her puppies, Jennifer has learned the art of sharing and getting along swimmingly with dogs of all shapes and sizes. She's a true peacemaker, always opting for a calm and collected approach when there's a sniff of conflict in the air. Whether it's a boisterous playmate or a gentle giant, Jennifer is all about spreading harmony and love in the doggy world. When it comes to cats, Jennifer's curiosity might pique when she spots a stray feline on her walks. But fear not – her focus remains firmly on her trusted handler, ensuring that she stays on track and doesn't get too distracted by those mysterious creatures with whiskers. Now, Jennifer may tend to pull a bit on the leash when she's overcome with excitement on her adventures. But fear not, for she quickly settles down once she's had a chance to take in the sights and sounds of her surroundings. And as for those tear stains? Well, it seems that chicken might be the culprit, but a little TLC and a carefully tailored diet will have her sparkling like the gem she truly is. This charming canine companion is seeking a forever family who can shower her with plenty of love and affection, along with a dose of tranquillity to match her serene disposition. If you believe Jennifer is "the one" for you, please don't hesitate to reach out to her devoted team. She's ready to sprinkle your life with endless joy and puppy kisses! 🐾 To see more videos:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhJGCgsllwY&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JxsglforEc1FTB9vABc7T-8

Story
Brady Key Characteristics: &#239&#130&#183 Tiny treasure (under 3kg), approximately 10 years young  &#239&#130&#183 Very cuddly &#239&#130&#183 Playful and silly &#239&#130&#183 Follows you around the house to be part of everything &#239&#130&#183 House-trained &#239&#130&#183 Very Affectionate &#239&#130&#183 Agile, no mobility issues, can do stairs Brady adjusted very quickly to living with us! He loves going for walks, sleeping on your lap, receiving attention, and playing with toys. Brady would thrive in a home where his people are home the majority of the time, or go with you wherever you go, as he is a classic Velcro dog. He is quite nervous in the car and trembles/tries to get into the drivers seat, so a good harness and seatbelt is a must. Brady gets along well with our resident dogs (all small). When we give attention to our other dogs, he will physically insert himself in front of the other dog and paw you - he just loves attention so much. At night he will sleep in your bed and under your covers. When meeting new small dogs on walks, he is curious and kind. With medium and large sized dogs, he barks, lunges and growls. Brady is quite vocal when he hears noises outside the home (i.e. voices, other dogs barking) as if to alert about “intruders.” As well, Brady will bark a lot initially when new people enter the home, and when they walk between rooms. He does settle with coaching and support. While Brady does very well with older, dog-savvy children, he is very leary of younger kids. Brady is the sweetest, most loving boy who brings joy and fun into our home &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143.October 3, 2024, 5:29 pm

Story
Pickle is a youthful large Pomeranian, well known and well loved by his community. He does exceedingly well in crowds and with children - who love to stop and pat his fluff and comment on his teddy bear looks. He belonged to my retired parents for many years. After they moved to a "no dogs allowed" facility last year, we adopted him. Unfortunately, our busy young family schedule means that we can't give Pickle the walks and attention he so badly needs. He is looking for a kind, friendly, slower-paced home where someone can give him attentive TLC. He remains in surprisingly good health - as per vet reports. He barks when anxious, which can be relieved with lots of pats - treats don’t hurt either!

Story
🐾 Hello, future family! My name is Pora, and I’m a 6-year-old Pomeranian princess with a fluffy white coat that’s as soft as a cloud. ☁️👑 🏥 Rescue Story: I’ve had quite the journey, being rescued from a place that wasn’t the best start in life. But look at me now! After a successful surgery on March 5, 2024, to fix a hernia and remove a benign tumor, I’m all healed up and ready for a new beginning. 💖 🧴 Special Care: My skin’s a bit dry, so I’m looking for someone who loves spa days as much as I do. A little hydration treatment, and I’ll be glowing! ✨ 🌟 Personality: I’m a tad reserved at first, but I warm up quickly with a tasty treat in hand. 🍖 I’ll even show you my belly as a sign of trust from our very first hello! 🐾 Likes: • Greeting other dogs with a polite sniff, but I’m more of a solo artist when it comes to playtime 🎶 • Enjoying the great outdoors with zest, followed by some well-deserved rest 🌳💤 • Exploring the world one sniff at a time – I’m all about those intriguing scents! 👃 🏡 Home Life: I’m a pro at keeping my kennel calm and serene, and I promise not to make a fuss over my meals. 🔕 Quiet as a Mouse: I’m not one to bark up a storm, so your neighbors will love me too! 🐶 Looking for: A patient and loving human who understands that I might need a moment before I come over for cuddles. But once I do, I’m a loyal companion for life. If you’re ready for a furry friend who’s as regal as she is resilient, I’m the girl for you. Let’s start our forever story together! 🐾💕 Puppy kisses and tail wags, Pora 🐾💌
