Morti (short for Morticia) | Min Pin Mix Mix | Female | 1 year | 14lbs. | Fostered in Toronto | Morti is truly a very special, little girl. A youngster, this Min Pin mix is 1 year old, and weighs only 14 lbs. She is a beautiful girl with the sweetest disposition. It is difficult to understand how such a precious pup and another dog were found fending for themselves on the streets. When indoors, she stays close to her dog bed. She loves chew toys and treats. She is a work in progress. She is housebroken and gets along well with other dogs. She is a very timid dog and needs a patient adopter who will give her time to settle and get to know her. She will be a loyal companion to a special her special person. She has been sleeping in her foster's bed, has a quick cuddle, then sleeps soundly through the night. Morti loves the outside. When outside, she turns up her energy level and runs at top speed chasing any squirrels or birds who trespass into her yard. Morti enjoys taking in all the new smells outdoors but will need continued work on leash skills. What are Morti's needs? She needs a secure, fenced yard in which to run and play. She could happily be an only pup or be with another young, playful dog. It is unknown how she feels about cats. She would be fine with older, respectful children. Most importantly, she needs someone who is often home, someone who will enjoy her companionship and in time receiving the love she wants to give once she feels safe. If you are looking for a new family member who is sure to provide love, fun and loyalty, please consider Morti.  QUICK FACTS Name: Kongsoon Age: Around 2 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Chihuahua, Jindo mix Color: Brown Weight: 10kg / 22lbs Fully Vaccinated, Microchipped, and Dewormed.   MY RESCUE STORY Hi! I’m Kongsoon. I was rescued from a city pound where I was sadly placed on the euthanasia list because there wasn’t enough space. Luckily, kind rescuers saw my spirit and gave me a second chance at life! Now, I’m safe, healthy, and ready to find my forever home.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY When you meet me, you’ll notice just how charming I am! My face is a rare and adorable mix of a Jindo and a Chihuahua — a combination you don’t see every day! I’m a little shy at first, but with gentle encouragement, I warm up quickly. I also get along well with other dogs and enjoy making new furry friends.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a little shy at first, but with some time and tasty treats, I quickly warm up and enjoy being petted. Once I trust you, I’ll happily show my belly — and you can even pick me up! · With Dogs: I’m friendly with dogs! I love meeting new furry friends, and playtime is one of my favorite parts of the day. I generally get along best with dogs bigger than me. · With Cats: I haven’t had much experience with cats yet, so my reaction is still unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a high energy level and need plenty of playtime and walks outside before I can relax and settle indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk well on leash and follow my handler’s lead nicely. I don’t guard my food against people, but I can be sensitive around other dogs during mealtime and may growl to protect my space — separate feeding is recommended with multiple dogs. I can bark for attention or when meeting strangers, but I rest calmly in my kennel and prefer to potty outdoors. I do have some separation anxiety and, in the past, have chewed or had accidents when left alone. I’ll need guidance and patience as I adjust to my new family. I’m full of energy and love adventures, so it’s important I get plenty of exercise and playtime before being left alone.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A very active family that will provide me with plenty of outdoor walks and adventure! A family who understands my love for food and is patient in helping me feel comfortable eating around other dogs. A family that understands my initial shyness and provide me with gentle encouragement so I learn to become more confident.   SPECIAL NOTES I warm up quickly and absolutely adore people! I love snuggling with my foster family at night and showering them with kisses. I get along well with all dogs, though I need a little guidance around food — I don’t mind sharing treats, but I’m sensitive if other dogs approach my bowl during mealtime. I have a playful, mischievous side that keeps life fun and entertaining! While I usually rest calmly in my kennel, I’ve recently started a little game of sneaking away, showing off my cheeky personality. I’m a level 2 rescue dog, which means I’ll need a few days to settle in and may be a bit shy at first in my new home.   Kongsoon's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2572827##

Story
QUICK FACTS  Name: Chorong Age: 4 years Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Chihuahua Colour: Brown Weight: 4.1kg / 8.8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY   I was once on the euthanasia list at Busan City Shelter, waiting for a second chance. Luckily, I was rescued just in time, and now I’m ready to find a loving forever home where I can feel safe, happy, and cherished every day. I may be small, but my heart is full of love, and I can’t wait to share it with you.   MY PERSONALITY  I’m sweet, friendly, and love being close to people — even strangers! I roll over to show my belly, enjoy cuddles, and bring the classic Chihuahua charm. I’m polite with dogs (especially my size), easygoing, and don’t guard my food. I’m playful but calm, and I love both affection and cozy naps.   SOCIAL SKILLS  With People: I love to be close to people, and I’m not shy around strangers—I’ll happily come up to you, rub against you, and let you pet me. You can even pick me up and hold me with my belly in your arms. Once I get comfortable, I love showing my belly to anyone, even people I just met! With Dogs: I greet new dogs politely, but I don’t usually play with them. I tend to be friendly with dogs that are similar in size to me. With Cats: I haven’t been observed around cats yet, so my reaction to them is unknown.   ENERGY & HABITS  I have a moderate energy level and enjoy outdoor activities, but I like to rest quietly afterward. I tend to pull on the leash, but I generally follow my human’s lead. Since I’m still learning walks, I can get scared and flatten myself when something unexpected appears. I walk well in quiet areas, but sudden noises can startle me.   MY IDEAL HOME  I’d thrive in a calm home with loving humans who enjoy walks, cuddles, and can guide me gently. A quiet environment with few surprises would help me feel secure and happy.   SPECIAL NOTES  I’m well-mannered during meals, don’t guard food, and only whine a little when kenneled. I’m small, sweet, and full of love to give — are you my person?   Chorong's YouTube Playlist ##2568997##

QUICK FACTS Name: Dabok Age: Around 3~4 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Chihuahua mix Color: Brown Weight: 6kg / 13lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I’m not sure how I ended up all alone on the streets, covered in itchy mites all over my body. Thankfully, kind humans found me and helped me get better. Now I’m clean, happy, and ready to find my forever family!   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up to date Recovering from severe skin infection. My fur is still growing!   MY PERSONALITY I’m a super sweet girl who loves everyone I meet! I’ve been through a rough time, but kind people rescued me and are helping my skin heal from a mite infection. I’ve already stolen the hearts of all the staff and volunteers, and now I’m hoping to find a forever family to love me just as much.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I love people so much! I don’t remember everything from my past, but I know I was neglected and left behind—probably because of my itchy skin from mites. Even so, my heart is still full of love. I’m trusting, affectionate, and always ready for cuddles and gentle pets. I like to greet strangers with a friendly wag and I like to show my belly right away. · With Dogs: I’m pretty easygoing with other dogs! I don’t mind them at all, but if one gets a little too pushy, I’ll bark to let them know to give me some space. With proper introductions, I do just fine and get along well with the other dogs at my care facility. I also love food and have a big appetite—I’m never shy about asking for treats, even around bigger dogs! · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a nice, moderate energy level—I love going for walks and spending time outdoors, but I’m just as happy curling up inside for a cozy nap or snuggle.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m a good girl on leash and like to follow my handler’s lead. I do best in quieter areas since loud noises can make me a little nervous, but with gentle guidance, I keep getting better every day! I’m a quiet pup who rarely barks—usually just when I want some attention. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and I potty both indoors and outdoors. I don’t guard my food from people or other dogs, and I’ve got a big appetite! Because I love treats so much, I’ll be easy and fun to train.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A home that offers a fun, structured, and safe environment A family that enjoys outdoor & indoor time together A family that understands my past & loving me with patience Understanding of my sensitive skin that still needs a little extra care because of my past mite infection. My skin is a bit delicate—kind of like a Sphynx cat! So if you’ve always wanted one of those, I might be the perfect match for you!   SPECIAL NOTES I’m still recovering from my past skin infection, so my skin is a little sensitive and needs gentle care. I do best in calm, quiet places and would love a patient family who understands me. I walk nicely on leash and enjoy outdoor time, but I’m also happy to snuggle indoors. I’m polite with other dogs, though I prefer slow introductions. I love food (maybe a little too much!) and treats always make my tail wag. With some love and care, I’ll be your sweetest, most loyal friend.   Dabok's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2577931##

Story

Current Location: Korea 🇰🇷 🐾✨ Meet JISU — A Gentle & Sweet Pom Mix Girl Looking for Her Forever Family ✨🐾 🌸 A soft soul who just wants to belong. 🌸 📌 Basic Info 🐶 Name: Jisu (JISU) 🎀 Age: 3 years old 👧 Gender: Female ⚖️ Weight: 4.9 kg 🐾 Breed: Pomeranian Mix 💉 Vaccinations / Spay-Neuter: Completed 💛 Personality & Charm Jisu is shy at first, but she really wants to be close to people. She quietly stays nearby, observes, trusts slowly… and then one day, she melts into your arms and holds on tight. 🥹💞 Calm, gentle, and loving — the perfect companion for a peaceful home. 👨‍👩‍👧 With Adults & Kids 🧑 Adults: Takes time to warm up, but becomes affectionate and loyal once she trusts you 🧒 Kids: Calm and gentle, okay with being next to them or being touched ⚠️ If kids run or shout loudly, she chooses to observe from a distance 🐶 With Other Animals 🐕 Dogs: Excellent! — polite greetings and sometimes playful with her favorite friends 🐱 Cats: Good! — sniffs and ignores 🦜 Lives peacefully with a parrot in her foster home 🚽 House-training ✨ 100% reliable! ✔ Outdoor potty ✔ Indoor pee pads ✔ Balcony turf ➡️ Very easy and stress-free 🔋 Energy Level ⚡ Low ~ Medium 🏡 Quiet and peaceful at home 🐕 At the park, lightly plays with familiar friends or just jogs along with the group 🗣 Separation Anxiety / Barking / Aggression 💛 Separation anxiety: ❌ 🔔 Barking: ❌ (very minimal) 💥 Aggression: ❌ If scared, she may growl or bark once/twice to say “I’m uncomfortable” — never attacks. 🚶‍♀️ Walks & Car Rides 🌳 Loves walking 🪑 If you sit on a bench, she sits right beside you for comfort 🥹 🚗 Excellent in the car — even waits politely before getting in 🏃 Escape Tendency Because she can get startled, double safety (double leash + secure harness) is recommended. In familiar places, even if the leash slips, she stays close and doesn’t run far. ➡️ Once bonded, she wants to stay within her person’s sight ❤️ 🐾 Rescue Story Jisu lived one year at Gokseong Shelter with her sister Subin. On the day they were scheduled for euthanasia, both were rescued together. She was pregnant at the time and later gave birth to three puppies (she is 💗 Pony’s mom). Now, after everything she has survived… it’s finally her turn to be loved. 📍 Jisu is ready for her forever home. She doesn’t need much — just patience, kindness, and a safe heart to land in. 🤍 If you think she may be the missing piece of your family…♡

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Chester Age: Estimated to be 5-6 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Pomeranian, spitz mix Color: Cream, Beige Weight: 5.38kg / 12lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city pound after being placed on the euthanasia list—not because of anything I did, but simply because there were too many dogs and not enough space or resources to care for us all. Despite that frightening start, I’ve held onto my sweet, gentle spirit. Now I’m just hoping for a family who will give me the love, safety, and second chance I’ve been waiting for.   MY HEALTH Neutered & Currently no known health issues All vaccinations up-to-date Received patellar luxation surgery on both back legs in June 2025.   MY PERSONALITY I’m incredibly cute—people say I look just like a little doll in real life. I’m a calm, gentle soul whose favorite pastime is finding the perfect cozy spot to curl up and soak in some sunshine. What can I say? I’m a bit of a couch potato and definitely an introvert at heart. I’m a super quiet, sweet boy who loves a peaceful, comfy life.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m very friendly with people, and nothing makes me happier than soaking up pets and affection while lounging in my favorite resting spot. I’m perfectly fine being picked up too—I love the extra closeness! · With Dogs: I’m a bit more indifferent with dog friends. I politely greet new dogs, but after that I prefer to do my own thing and cozy up in my favorite spot. High-energy or larger dogs can feel a little overwhelming for me, so I’m happiest around calmer companions. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a low, calm energy level—I’m a true couch potato who loves snuggling in my bed all day. Volunteers and staff quickly learned that I’m not shy or scared; I just genuinely enjoy my cozy rest time. At first, I need a little convincing to start my walk (sometimes they pick me up and carry me outside!), but once I’m out in the fresh air, I happily trot along and enjoy a gentle stroll.   TRAINING & HABITS I’ll need a bit more leash training and help building confidence during my walks. When I get scared, I sometimes freeze or lie flat on the ground. I don’t guard my food against people or other dogs, and I’m a very quiet boy who rarely ever barks. I rest calmly in my kennel and potty both indoors (using a pee pad) and outdoors. I may do a little marking at first in a brand-new environment, but that usually improves as I settle in.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with love and attention. A family that understands that I will need more guidance with leash walking. Ideally the only dog in the household, or with another calm and low energy dog sibling that can match my energy level.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a super easygoing and very quiet boy, and I’ll be a calm, gentle addition to any family. My favorite activities are doing little sniff inspections and curling up in my favorite resting spot. I don’t have a big appetite, and overall I’m low-maintenance and peaceful. I’m considered a level 2 rescue dog, so I’ll need at least several days to a week to settle into a new environment, and I must be double-leashed outside for my safety. I thrive in calm, predictable homes because loud noises and energetic dogs can overwhelm me. I’m still building my confidence on walks and sometimes freeze when I get scared, so I’ll need a patient family who can guide me with reassurance. I may mark a bit while adjusting, but with consistency, I learn quickly. With the right home, I know I’ll blossom into the sweetest, most loyal companion.   Chester's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2589534##

Story
ALL ABOUT ME   Name: TongTong Age : Around 3 yrs old Gender: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Pomeranian mix Colour: White Weight: 5.25kg / 12lb Microchipped: Yes    MY RESCUE STORY Hi, I’m TongTong! I was rescued from a crowded city pound in Gwangju, Korea, where I was sadly placed on the euthanasia list simply due to lack of space. No one knows exactly how I ended up there, but volunteers and staff believe I may have come from a puppy mill. What I do know is that I’m incredibly grateful to have been given a second chance. Despite everything, my heart is full of hope, and I’m ready to leave my past behind and begin a new chapter with a loving forever family. Could that be you?    MY HEALTH - Fully vaccinated - I’ve been spayed and have no known health issues. - Tend to pant a lot, but there has been no medical issues found    MY PERSONALITY I’m a super friendly and affectionate boy who absolutely adores people. I’ll happily trot over for pets and attention, and you can easily scoop me up into your arms—I won’t mind one bit! When I trust you, I’ll even roll over to show you my belly. I’m naturally calm and easygoing, and I prefer to keep the peace. I get along well with other dogs and don’t get caught up in drama—if another pup’s being pushy, I’ll simply walk away. I love water, playing with toys, and curling up in a cozy lap. At heart, I’m a sweet snuggle bug who just wants to share love and joy with my forever family.    MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I’m super loving and friendly, and one of my favorite places to be is right in your lap soaking up all the pets! I enjoy meeting new people and happily welcome their attention. I’m very easygoing when it comes to touch—I don’t mind being picked up and absolutely love snuggling close. Though I haven’t met any kids yet, my calm and gentle nature makes me a great candidate for a home with respectful little ones, especially with slow, thoughtful introductions. And just to win your heart a little more—I’ll gladly roll over and show you my belly for extra love!   With Dogs: I’m polite when meeting new dogs and don’t mind a friendly greeting, but I tend to keep to myself and take in my surroundings first. I’m definitely more of a people-pup—I prefer human companionship over playtime with other dogs. That said, I have a calm and easygoing nature. I don’t resource guard my food or toys, and even if another dog is being a bit rude, I choose to walk away peacefully rather than stir up any drama. Harmony is my style!   With Cats:  I haven’t had the chance to meet any cats yet, but given my sweet and gentle nature, I believe I could get along well with them — especially with slow, thoughtful introductions and a bit of patience.    ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES  I have a low to moderate energy level and consider myself more of a cozy couch potato—sometimes I even like to pretend I’m a stuffed toy! I can get warm pretty easily and tend to pant when I’m tired, so long walks aren’t really my thing. I absolutely love playing in the water, so a swim or just hanging out near water would be a dream for me. Short, gentle walks in cooler weather are my favorite way to get outside and explore   TRAINING & HABITS I know how to potty both indoors and outdoors and usually keep quiet—though I might softly bark when I want your attention. I’m relaxed around people and other dogs, never guarding my toys or food. I’m also great at resting calmly and quietly in my kennel. On walks, I generally follow nicely but sometimes get excited and pull a little when something interesting catches my nose.  MY IDEAL HOME  I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help guide me as I blossom into my true sweet self. I’ll thrive in a home with:   - A family who can provide me with a calm, structured, and safe environment. - A family who likes to spend time together and shower me with love. - I’m perfectly happy as the only dog in the house, but I’d also get along well with a calm, older dog who matches my energy level.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a gentle and loving soul who thrives with patience, kindness, and calm guidance. While I’m happy to be the only pet in the home, I can also do well with a calm, older dog as a companion. Because of my past, I may need a little extra understanding as I continue to grow into my best self. With a family who offers me love, consistency, and gentle support, I’ll become your loyal, affectionate friend for life.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! Tongtong’s Playlist ##2459224##
