Korea🐾 [BASIC INFO] ❤ Age: 2018 Oct(estimated) ❤ Gender: Female ❤ Weight: 3.5 kg (8 lbs) ❤ Breed: Medium haired Chihuahua ❤ Health: Fully vaccinated, spayed, history of mammary tumor & pyometra surgery [PERSONALITY] 💖 People-friendly – affectionate and trusting with adults 💖 Kid-friendly – comfortable and gentle with children 💖 Dog-friendly – interacts well with other dogs 💖 Cat-unknown – no confirmed interactions with cats 💖 Low–medium energy – calm and easygoing (3–4/10) [TRAINING & HABITS] ✅ Potty training – still makes mistakes, needs continued guidance ✅ Leash skills – enjoys walks, no leash pulling, reacts calmly when meeting dogs ✅ Grooming – accepts bath, brushing, ear cleaning, tooth brushing, and nail clipping well ✅ Kennel training – comfortable staying in a kennel ✅ No sensitivity to handling – fine with being touched anywhere ✅ No escape tendencies – may want to follow people out of the gate, but no strong escape drive ✅ Destructiveness – unknown, has not shown destructive behavior so far ✅ Prey drive – no known chasing of birds or cats during walks [RESCUE STORY] This sweet girl was rescued from a puppy meel and ended up in a city shelter, left behind as an older dog that nobody wanted to adopt. She was placed on the euthanasia list simply because of her age. Out of deep compassion, she was rescued just in time and is now preparing for adoption. Despite her past, she shows only love, trust, and a gentle spirit. She’s ready to start a new chapter in life with a forever family who will cherish her golden years.

Current Location: Korea 🇰🇷 ♡ 🐾 Hershey – The Short-Legged Sweetheart 🐾 💗 Personality Loves human touch and attention, very affectionate even with strangers. No biting. Curious and loves other dogs (would do great as a second dog). High energy level (5/5) due to his young age. Shares food and treats with other dogs without fighting (especially loves treats). 📜 Rescue Story Found wandering dangerously along a roadside with a metal chain still attached to him and was rescued to safety. 🐶 Social Skills With Adults: Friendly to everyone regardless of age or gender; loves being petted. With Kids: (Not yet tested – can be assessed if needed) With Dogs: Very social; approaches first to give playful signals. With Cats: No aggression; friendly and shows positive interest. 🏡 Living Habits Potty Training: Likely lived chained outdoors before, but does not show excessive marking. Prefers to go near or on pee pads; may mark over spots where other dogs have marked. Toys: Not particularly toy-focused, but enjoys small plush toys and playing with items like towels or light T-shirt material. Separation/Barking: May whine or bark a little when left in a separate space, but calms down quickly. Walks: Slight leash pulling but walks well overall. Handling: Enjoys being touched even by strangers. Escape Risk: Afraid to step outside the door, but caution is still advised. Goes up stairs well but is careful going down. Car Rides: Has little experience, so needs to be lifted into the car, but gets out easily. In a travel kennel, may scratch to get out at first but settles quickly. 🌟 Adoption Notes Hershey is an active, social, and happy boy. He would thrive in a home with another friendly dog or with a family who can give him plenty of walks and activities. Morti (short for Morticia) | Min Pin Mix Mix | Female | 1 year | 14lbs. | Fostered in Toronto | Morti is truly a very special, little girl. A youngster, this Min Pin mix is 1 year old, and weighs only 14 lbs. She is a beautiful girl with the sweetest disposition. It is difficult to understand how such a precious pup and another dog were found fending for themselves on the streets. When indoors, she stays close to her dog bed. She loves chew toys and treats. She is a work in progress. She is housebroken and gets along well with other dogs. She is a very timid dog and needs a patient adopter who will give her time to settle and get to know her. She will be a loyal companion to a special her special person. She has been sleeping in her foster's bed, has a quick cuddle, then sleeps soundly through the night. Morti loves the outside. When outside, she turns up her energy level and runs at top speed chasing any squirrels or birds who trespass into her yard. Morti enjoys taking in all the new smells outdoors but will need continued work on leash skills. What are Morti's needs? She needs a secure, fenced yard in which to run and play. She could happily be an only pup or be with another young, playful dog. It is unknown how she feels about cats. She would be fine with older, respectful children. Most importantly, she needs someone who is often home, someone who will enjoy her companionship and in time receiving the love she wants to give once she feels safe.
