Story
Writing this is one of the hardest things I have ever done. Milo is my best friend I am his person. He one of the strongest relationships I have ever had. Milo will be 7 in December. Before my first child was born, he had training and responded very well to positive reinforcement, especially with walks. He is loving, loyal, and deeply devoted with the people he trusts. Milo is also a sensitive, fearful dog who can be reactive in new situations and with new people. He needs an experienced adopter who understands fearful behavior and can provide patience, structure, and careful management. He has shown aggression toward children and cannot live with children or smaller pets, including smaller dogs. New adults must be introduced slowly and in a controlled setting. He does best being separated whenever company is visiting. Now that I have kids, I can no longer give him the comfortable environment he deserves. I’m hoping to find an experienced adopter who is ready for his loyalty

Story
Fiona is a beautiful 9-year-old Chow Chow mix with the softest, fluffiest coat and an even sweeter personality. This lovely dog enjoys taking life at her own pace and is happiest exploring the world one sniff at a time. On walks, you`ll usually find her following her nose, taking in all the exciting scents around her. Fiona already knows sit and paw, and she`s always happy to show off her manners for a treat or a little praise. While she`s affectionate and gentle, she also has an independent side that makes her an easygoing companion. She`s open to meeting other pets and children of any age, making her a wonderful candidate for a variety of homes. Whether you`re looking for a laid-back walking buddy or a fluffy best friend to share your days with, Fiona is ready to fill that role. Story
After her owner passed away, Bonnie Blue (Blue) could not be cared for by his elderly wife. Blue is a 9 year old fuzzy black Chow Chow. She loves to go on long walks and loves being outside. She will sit and observe her surroundings for hours. She loves the company of people but being near you is close enough; occasionally she will come by for doggy rubs or a quick lick. In the evening, she likes being part of the night time TV watching before retiring to her spot for evening slumber.

Story
Venom is 2 yrs old , he had some training as far as sit, stay, give me your paw, if you tell him no to something he will listen as well he is house trained and loves to go on walks. He is loving, loyal, and follows his owner around once comfortable and gives trust. He is a fearful dog who can be reactive in new situations and with new people. He needs an experienced adopter and trainer who understands fearful behavior and can provide patience, understanding and willing to give him undivided attention , He has not shown any aggression toward children and has been around children as young as 1 years old , he likes it when they throw his plush toys. New adults must be introduced slowly and in a controlled setting. If you have company or leave home for awhile he does well with being in his cage but does tend to stay in there if he is not comfortable or scared , he does bark at anyone approaching his home until he sees who it is , training and patience is all he need to earn his love

Story
If relaxation were an Olympic sport, Chelsea would have a gold medal (and probably be napping on the podium). This laid-back lady is all about the simple joys in life: gentle pets, cozy couches, and leisurely strolls around the neighborhood where she can take in the sights at her own pace. Chelsea isn’t in a rush—she’s more of a “stop and smell the roses (and maybe sit next to them for a while)” kind of girl. She’s the perfect match for someone who enjoys quiet evenings, soft blankets, and a loyal buddy who’s always down to hang out. Story
Thaddeus is such a gentle, calm, sweet, loving boy. He is only about 2 years old and 55 lbs of fluff and wonderful. This is a great dog. He is good with dogs, cats, and kids and just a great companion dog. These are not very good photos, but he is so handsome in person. A must meet, for he will steal your heart for sure.  LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   July 25, 2026, 3:27 pm
