Story
Animal Profile:  Tattie is a 20lb, 6-year-old female pug that found herself in need of rescue when she wound up in the Moreno Valley Shelter. We saw her profile, and knew we needed to get her out! A cage is no place to live for a pugtato. She arrives Sunday 10/20 and we are excited to meet her! We discovered Tattie is blind in one eye, but that doesn’t stop her from living her best life!  Foster Update:  Tattie is a sweet, sassy girl. She loves cuddles, cozy dog beds, soft squeaky toys and naps. She wants to be part of all the family activities. She is thriving with our daily routine and takes cues from other dogs. She snores rather loud but has a quiet bark that she rarely uses. She can be pretty sporty in short bursts. She doesn’t love walks and will not go potty just because she’s outside (apartment life wouldn’t be a good fit). She needs time to explore the yard. She likes soft treats but isn’t very motivated by food. She can go up the stairs but can’t go down them (we’re working on that).   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, and microchip with registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History:  This dog is arriving from San Bernadino via Wiggle Butts Transport on Sunday 10/20/2024. She will be available for adoption in the Seattle area. December 10, 2024, 3:14 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Hero – Your Future Best Friend! This brave and lovable boy is Hero, a handsome Pug/Boxer mix with a heart as big as his name. Hero’s story began at the San Antonio TxDOT Hub, where he was sadly dumped and spent a week trying to find relief from the heat—sweetly approaching buildings and vehicles in hopes of a little AC and a lot of love. Fortunately, the kind workers there stepped up and cared for him until rescue could arrive. Hero is around 42 pounds and was born approximately May 20, 2024. He’s still learning the ropes of being a companion dog—especially when it comes to walking on a leash—but his friendly, affectionate personality shines through in everything he does. He gets along great with people and is eager to bond with someone special who can give him the loving home he deserves. If you’re ready to welcome a sweet, resilient pup into your life, Hero is ready to be your sidekick. His adoption fee is $300, and you can apply to adopt him at www.adoggie4you.org. Give Hero the forever home he’s been waiting for—you’ll be his hero, too. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 20, 2025, 2:03 pm

Story
Meet Tito's Saketini! Tito's Saketini would do best with another dog in the home and no little kids. Tito's Saketini is a puppy so hes playful and has a lot of puppy energy! He is super cute and fun, but a lot of work. His forever family should be committed to lots of training - obedience, housetraining, and socialization. This will ensure that Tito's Saketini grows into a confident, well behaved adult! Puppies' personalities are dependent on their environment, and the structure and training they are given, in addition to socialization. Their personalities continue to grow and be shaped by their new adoptive families. Puppy daycare and socialization classes or puppy kindergarten are highly recommended for their personal development. He will more than reward you for all your hard work with lots of love, loyalty, and laughs. Saketini is a baby so he is not yet house trained and is working on crate training. Estimated DOB: 12/02/2024 Estimated ADULT Weight: 10-20 lbs Breed: Pug/Chihuahua/Mix Adoption Donation: $700.00 Prior to adoption, puppies will be altered, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Puppies are given vaccination boosters in our care; however, adoptive families will be responsible for the remaining vaccinations that puppies need. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of goodies to start you on your journeywith your new pup! Story
Animal Profile:  Penny is a 2 yo, 65 lb spayed female English Bulldog mix. She has a tight, clean coat and an adorable underbite. She has guardian-breed tendencies and will need a breed-savvy owner able to provide appropriate leadership. She is loyal to her family and loves to snuggle. She enjoys playing with other dogs but requires a human who can supervise and advocate for appropriate interactions or she is prone to bullying behavior. She is currently being fostered in a home with two other dogs and is crate-trained, house-trained, and has basic obedience training. She will benefit from structure, leadership, and ongoing training. Once acclimated in a home environment, she loves to snuggle and play and has a goofy, loving personality.  Adopter Profile:  Single family residence required Secure fenced yard preferred Large breed experience required Bully breed experience preferred Other balanced dogs, dog-savvy cats, and older children considered on case by case basis Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, flea/tick treatment, deworming, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Animal History:  Penny and her siblings were a surprise litter - their mother was adopted from a local family when she was unknowingly pregnant, so he got much more than he bargained for when she had puppies soon after her adoption. Penny was born on 12/09/22; one of the littermates was  DNA tested and so presumably all littermates are  75% English Bulldog, 12.5% German Shepherd, 12.5% Rhodesian Ridgeback. As puppies, these dogs were playful and engaging. Penny was adopted as a puppy to a family who was not prepared for the tendencies of this breed combination. Without any formal training, she developed territorial behaviors in the home and on walks that ultimately led the family to return her to the rescue. She has since been evaluated and fostered in a DGS foster home. She is currently available for adoption to the greater Seattle area.  May 17, 2025, 1:02 am

Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Luffy - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey hey all you fabulous people out there. My name is Luffy and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I is a real sweetheart, adorable and playful year-old pup coming in at about 16lbs that is an on the go and energetic. I is sure to win over your heart with my charming ways and playful personality. I is ready to start this next chapter in life with lots of puppy kisses, tail wags and playtime with my new family!! I has a lot of energy and playfulness that makes me the perfect companion for lots of adventures, everything from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting. I do great with the other foster pups here but would do just fine getting ALL the attention as your one and only. I would probably do best in an adult only home or with older kiddos (10+), as sometimes I can play kinda rough. I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat. I do great with people and my dream is an active family that would love to have a tag-a-long to share in all the joys of hanging your head out the car window, going on sniffaries or sleeping on the ground on camping trips. I am up to trying them all...and having a blast doing them with you! I am crate trained but still working on the house training so I will need continued encouragement. I so love sleeping in bed, of course...snuggled up to you but I sometimes need to go out to potty thru the night. I seem to have a larger dome head and although it hasn't been confirmed, the vets seem to think I could possibly have hydrocephalus which is a condition where an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) inside the skull causes the brain to swell and increase pressure. There are some treatment options that vary depending on the cause and severity of hydrocephalus, but may include medication to reduce fluid production, surgical shunting to drain the excess fluid, or in severe cases, palliative care. Some breeds like the chihuahua naturally have a dome shaped head and don't always indicate a problem. This doesn't seem to affect my sweet personality and I'm just a happy happy boy that is ready to live life to the fullest! There just isn't anything like the pure pleasure I feel when I catch a glimpse of you from across the yard, if I happen to get that far away! You can see it on my lil face and in my body, I am so darn happy to see you even if it was just 2 seconds ago! I am definitely a shadow pup, even when the sun is hiding behind clouds, sticking close and following you...everywhere!! I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness on a family and be that lil heartbeat at your feet or maybe preferably on your lap, so if you think I'd be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org
