Please note that this dog is currently located in TX and will be transported once adopted. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org. Hi, I’m Gidget, and I’m basically a tiny social butterfly in a dog suit! 🦋🐶 I’m a 10-month-old, 8-pound Pug/Chihuahua mix (our best guess), and while I may be little, my personality is anything but! I’m super outgoing, incredibly social, and absolutely convinced that everyone I meet is my new best friend. Two-legged? LOVE them. Four-legged? LOVE them too! I have an enthusiastic, playful style and I'm always ready to make friends, chase around with my buddies, or join whatever fun is happening. I'm the kind of girl who doesn't want to sit on the sidelines—I want to be right in the middle of the action! My happy, confident personality makes me a blast to be around, and I bring a whole lot of fun packed into my tiny 8-pound body. I'm looking for a family who will appreciate my playful spirit, keep me busy, and let me be the outgoing little socialite that I am. If you want a pint-sized pup with a giant personality and a heart full of love, I'm your girl! Come meet Gidget—your new tiny best friend! 💗 Apply to adopt Gidget at haydudeequine.org. 🐾✨

Story
Animal Information: Layla (and her sibling Leela) are an adorable pair of "short stacks" who were found as strays and rescued from the municipal SBC shelter after being at risk due to their length of stay. Now they're ready to find the loving home they deserve! They are estimated to be about a year old. Foster Profile:  Layla is a gentle, affectionate young pup who has been gaining confidence every day in her foster home. She loves meeting new people. Her friendly, easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion for a variety of homes. Layla does great with other dogs and enjoys playing with her foster brother, even when the play gets rowdy. She would be happy living with another friendly dog, but she’s also becoming confident enough to thrive as an only dog. She is crate trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and settles well during the day. Layla is doing well with house-training on a consistent schedule. She’s curious and still learning what’s okay to explore, but she responds well to redirection. Layla is still working on leash manners but is getting better each day. Car rides aren’t her favorite, but she settles when crated with a stuffed chew or Kong. Layla is a total snuggle bug who loves being close to her people. She’s looking for a family who will continue helping her grow, build confidence, and enjoy all the love she has to give. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from San Bernadino in California. She was transferred via Wigglebutts and arrived in foster care on 6/27 and is available for adoption in the greater Seattle area.September 4, 2026, 4:05 pm

Story
Meet Lilly 💕 Lilly is a 5-year-old, 15 lb, Pug and an absolute force of nature—a little wrecking ball of excitement, kisses, and pure personality! This spunky girl brings fun wherever she goes and has never met an adventure she didn’t want to investigate. L Lilly ily may have an injured eye, but don’t let that slow her down. It hasn’t dampened her adventurous spirit one bit—and apparently, it hasn’t stopped the resident boy dogs in her foster home from developing a massive crush on this irresistible girl either! Smart, determined, and endlessly entertaining, Lily is always ready to take on her next challenge. She takes her slow feeder bowl very seriously and is determined to prove who’s boss. When she’s not busy conquering dinner, she loves nothing more than wrestling with her foster brother and getting her zoomies out. Lilly is crate trained and potty trained, and she loves going for walks. She currently lives happily with four other dogs of various sizes as well as a cat, so she’s accustomed to a busy, multi-pet household. At the end of the day, though, Lily isn’t just a bundle of energy—she’s also a spunky, cuddly sweetheart who loves being part of the action and sharing affection with her people. Lilly would thrive with a family who will embrace her adventurous spirit, appreciate her hilarious personality, and give her plenty of opportunities to play, explore, cuddle, and be her wonderfully exuberant self. Lilly is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $550.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Gus – Your New Best Friend!  Gus is a lovable Pug mix with a heart as sweet as they come. Through no fault of his own, he found himself owner surrendered to a shelter, but he's ready to leave that chapter behind and find the forever family he deserves. Gus can be unsure of meeting new people at first, and may be a little shy and territorial. Once he knows you, he will be your best friend for life. He will welcome you with kisses, happy jumps, lots of tail wags.  When Gus was owner surrendered, we were told that he is potty trained and does know how to use a bell to alert when needing to use the bathroom. He is also not much of a barker, gets along great with dogs, rides well in a car, and walks well on leash.  Gus is neutered, 4DX negative, microchipped, current on all vaccinations, and protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto.  His adoption fee is $400. To apply to adopt Gus, visit www.adoggie4you.org. Gus is currently located in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Story
Meet Bourbon & Midori! Bourbon and Midori came into rescue after the loss of their owner, and thankfully, they still have each other. Together since they were little, these two are truly bonded and find comfort and confidence side by side. Their foster describes them as classic pugsthey love naps, snuggles, food, following their people around, and exploring outside, with plenty of playful moments mixed in. Midori is a little more cautious at first and can be the more stubborn of the pair, while Bourbon tends to take things in stride. Theyre great with other dogs, have done wonderfully with their fosters 8-year-old child, ride well in the car, and have shown no food aggression. Both are working toward healthier weights and currently need a little help getting onto higher surfaces. Midori is medically cleared and ready for adoption, while Bourbon still needs to have a dental completed. Bonded pairs can sometimes wait longer to find their family, but these two come with something extra speciala built-in best friend, twice the pug personality, and double the love. Story
Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
Nutmeg is a sweet, gentle two-year-old pug who came to us from The Pug Queen in California. She is a quieter girl who needs a little time to feel comfortable, but once she trusts you, her sweet personality begins to shine. Nutmeg is laid-back and loves relaxing, playing with her puppy Sage, and joining him for the occasional zoomie session. She also enjoys grooming her son, often giving his ears, face, and legs a little extra TLC. One of Nutmegs favorite things is a good belly rub! She may initially settle down a little distance away, but when her foster calls her over, she happily comes closer for pets and affection. She has even started cuddling up and sleeping beside her foster in bed all on her owna sweet sign that she is learning to trust and feel safe. Nutmeg is still building confidence and learning that training is a positive experience. She can be sensitive if she thinks she is being scolded, so patience and encouragement are important. We would love to see Nutmeg and Sage adopted together if possible. They enjoy each others company and seem to take comfort from having one another. We would also consider separate homes if there is already a calm, confident pug who could be a reassuring companion and help Nutmeg learn that life isnt scary. Nutmeg may take a little time to give you her trust, but once she does, youll discover what a sweet and loving little girl she truly is. Story
Please meet Forrest! This sweet pup is estimated to be about 10 months old. At a young age, he was abandoned in a park. We don’t know what happened to his mom or if he and his brother were the only ones to survive, but Forrest is resilient with a heart full of joy. Forrest is a happy and playful boy who’s adjusting well to life in a home. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and people. He lives in a foster home with cats but he gets very excited wanting to play when he sees them so he accidentally scares the cats. While he’s gentle and kind, we recommend a home with older kids, as his youthful energy might accidentally knock over toddlers. He's a big wiggle-butt, a very happy boy! Forrest would thrive with a family who can help him with leash training and shower him with the love and attention he deserves. Are you ready to give Forrest the forever home he’s been waiting for? We can drive this pup to your area! If you like this cutie please send us an inquiry here and we'll give you a call and video chat with the pup! Here's the link: www.friendsfurliferescue.org/adoption-application Please copy/paste the above link into your browser ^ Our transport can take this pup to any of the above locations. There is NO transport fee, or any extra fees. All is included in the adoption fee. Thank you! We're looking forward to your inquiry!

Story
Animal Profile:  Penny is a 2 1/2 year old, 65 lb spayed female English Bulldog mix. She has a tight, clean coat and an adorable under bite. She has guardian-breed tendencies and will need a breed-savvy owner who's able to provide appropriate leadership. She is loyal to her family and loves to snuggle. Her absolute favorite joy in life is Ball! She enjoys playing with other dogs but requires a human who can supervise and advocate for appropriate interactions or she is prone to bullying behavior. She is currently being fostered in a home with two other dogs and is crate-trained, house-trained, and has basic obedience training. She will benefit from structure, leadership, and ongoing training. Once acclimated in a home environment, she loves to snuggle and play and has a goofy, loving personality.  Adopter Profile:  Single family residence required Secure fenced yard preferred Large breed experience required Bully breed experience preferred Other balanced dogs and older children considered on case by case basis Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $400, which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, flea/tick treatment, deworming, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Medical Notes: Penny has had one TPLO repaired in Spring 2025 and fully recovered, before tearing her other CCL in Fall 2025. We will do another TPLO for her with adoption interest.  Animal History:  Penny and her siblings were a surprise litter - their mother was adopted from a local family when she was unknowingly pregnant, so he got much more than he bargained for when she had puppies soon after her adoption. Penny was born on 12/09/22; one of the littermates was  DNA tested and so presumably all littermates are  75% English Bulldog, 12.5% German Shepherd, 12.5% Rhodesian Ridgeback. As puppies, these dogs were playful and engaging. Penny was adopted as a puppy to a family who was not prepared for the tendencies of this breed combination. Without any formal training, she developed territorial behaviors in the home and on walks that ultimately led the family to return her to the rescue. She has since been evaluated and fostered in a DGS foster home. She is currently available for adoption to the greater Seattle area.  September 4, 2026, 4:05 pm

Story
Primrose, Princeton and Percival's mom was abandoned at a home when her previous owners moved out. She was left out on a chain to fend for herself. Luckily the neighbors realized she had been left behind and took her in. She was in horrible physical condition and pregnant by to neighborhood stray (a black lab) that would jump the fence when she was in heat. It was reported by the neighbors that these 2 had had multiple litters together but none of the puppies ever survived. The neighbors children fell in love with mom and they are keeping her but needed help rehoming her very last litter (we assisted in getting her spayed). These pups are the most laid back and chill group I have ever seen.
