Story
Animal Information: Kara is an adorable little pug mix that is estimated to be 1-year-old. She is a petite little girl, weighing 15lbs, and is social and sweet with people and other dogs. We love her little smooshy face and sweet tail wags, and can't wait to help her find a family here in the PNW. Foster Profile:  Kara is a friendly, happy, wiggly girl. She was in rough shape and thin when she arrived but with a good diet and some TLC she has rebounded completely! She is smart and a quick learner, friendly and likes to play with other dogs. Kara loves to be the center of attention with people. She likes stuffies and balls.  She is fast and likes to zoom around with my resident dog, but she also likes to curl up on the couch with her person. Kara has an adorable underbite and often shows her little teethies. She is crate trained and is quiet in her crate all night and when being left alone at home. We have been working on house training and she is 99% percent there. She does need some boundaries and leadership because she can be a little pushy but she is intelligent and follows cues. Kara would be a great addition to many types of families.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from SBC Shelter in partnership with ARF. He will be transferred via TNT transport, arriving to foster care on 7/2/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.August 7, 2026, 10:53 pm

Animal Information: Layla (and her sibling Leela) are an adorable pair of "short stacks" who were found as strays and rescued from the municipal SBC shelter after being at risk due to their length of stay. Now they're ready to find the loving home they deserve! Layla is sweet, social and friendly with people and learning to play with other dogs. She's the more reserved follower of the two, but with a little encouragement, she quickly warms up and charms everyone she meets. Their goofy personalities, adorable pouty lips, and curly-Q tails make them impossible not to smile around. Layla has picked up crate training, house training and learning basic obedience in the short time we've had her. We look forward to watching her blossom in foster care.  Foster Profile: Coming Soon! Now they're ready to find the loving home they deserve! These sweet girls are social, friendly, and enjoy the company of both people and other dogs. Leela is outgoing with people and always eager to make a friend. She wants to play with other dogs but doesn't have a lot of dogging life experience so we're working on her social skills in foster care. She is a puddle pup and loves to play. Story
Lily the Chug Are you looking for a small bundle of energy full of love, antics, & sass to liven up your home? Then look no farther than Lily the chug (3/4 pug, 1/4 chihuahua with a whole lotta chi attitude)! This long legged, grumpy faced little minx has adorable ears that either stand up at attention or rest crossed atop her head. Her overbite, often with her lip stuck on her teefers gives her adorable expressions. Lily has no enemies, loving to play-play-play with dogs & people of all ages & sizes. At her foster mom’s house, she cavorts with a 90# Great Pyrenees as much as she does with a pair of pugs. She’d also like to play with the cats, but she is too hyper for them & gets swatted. Lily does calm down to cuddle & actively seeks attention. Lily was a neglected outdoor pup until her surrender to God’s Dogs Rescue, so is still working on her housebreaking. She almost has it down pat with use of a doggy door. You will never experience a dull moment with this petite cutie in your life! Attributes: Housebreaking in progress. Good with doggie door HIGH energy Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Pugs Bunny! Pugs Bunny is a sweet, gentle boy who is ready to hop right into your heart! This handsome pup was found as a stray, and while we don't know much about his past, he's already shown us what a wonderful companion he can be. Pugs Bunny has a calm, quiet nature and a submissive personality, but also has a playful side to him. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would love a canine friend to romp around with, but he's just as happy relaxing by your side. He's looking for a patient family who will help him learn the ropes of living in a home, including potty training. Because his history is unknown, we aren't sure how he does with children or cats, so slow, supervised introductions would be recommended. Pugs Bunny is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, so he's ready to head home with his new family. Adoption fee: $400 If you think Pugs Bunny could be the perfect addition to your family, apply today at www.adoggie4you.org. Brooks is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Due to state regulations, we cannot transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 7, 2026, 9:01 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Gus – Your New Best Friend!  Gus is a lovable Pug mix with a heart as sweet as they come. Through no fault of his own, he found himself owner surrendered to a shelter, but he's ready to leave that chapter behind and find the forever family he deserves. Gus can be unsure of meeting new people at first, and may be a little shy and territorial. Once he knows you, he will be your best friend for life. He will welcome you with kisses, happy jumps, lots of tail wags.  When Gus was owner surrendered, we were told that he is potty trained and does know how to use a bell to alert when needing to use the bathroom. He is also not much of a barker, gets along great with dogs, rides well in a car, and walks well on leash.  Gus is neutered, 4DX negative, microchipped, current on all vaccinations, and protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto.  His adoption fee is $400. To apply to adopt Gus, visit www.adoggie4you.org. Gus is currently located in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Story
Ruby may have arrived with a little mysterywhile her records say she's 1 year old, the veterinarian who examined her believes she's likely closer to 3 years old. Either way, one thing is certain: she's 100% adorable. Ruby is finally getting the chance to discover everything she's been missingfrom family adventures to lazy Sundays on the couch. After spending much of her life having litter after litter, Ruby is finally free to simply be someone's beloved companion. She's a petite, athletic little pug who's happy to be wherever her people are. Ruby is wonderful with children, adores attention, and has never met a lap she didn't want to climb into (even strangers!). She isn't a one-person dog eithershe shares her love freely with everyone in the family. At bedtime, her favorite place is as close to her humans as possible. Out in public, Ruby is friendly with other dogs and enjoys making new friends. At home, however, she'd rather not compete for your lap. We think she'd be happiest as an only dog, or with a companion who prefers their own space and isn't interested in sharing cuddle time. Ruby has settled into foster care beautifully and has excellent house manners. She's very well potty trained as long as she's given regular opportunities to go outside. Like many dogs adjusting to a new home, she had a couple of accidents while learning her new routine, but those quickly resolved. If you're looking for the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, Ruby is ready to steal your heart! Please visit our website to learn more about this amazing pug and begin the adoption process!

Story
Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
Please meet Forrest! This sweet pup is estimated to be about 10 months old. At a young age, he was abandoned in a park. We don’t know what happened to his mom or if he and his brother were the only ones to survive, but Forrest is resilient with a heart full of joy. Forrest is a happy and playful boy who’s adjusting well to life in a home. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and people. He lives in a foster home with cats but he gets very excited wanting to play when he sees them so he accidentally scares the cats. While he’s gentle and kind, we recommend a home with older kids, as his youthful energy might accidentally knock over toddlers. He's a big wiggle-butt, a very happy boy! Forrest would thrive with a family who can help him with leash training and shower him with the love and attention he deserves. Are you ready to give Forrest the forever home he’s been waiting for? We can drive this pup to your area! If you like this cutie please send us an inquiry here and we'll give you a call and video chat with the pup! Here's the link: www.friendsfurliferescue.org/adoption-application Please copy/paste the above link into your browser ^ Our transport can take this pup to any of the above locations. There is NO transport fee, or any extra fees. All is included in the adoption fee. Thank you! We're looking forward to your inquiry!

Story
Animal Profile:  Penny is a 2 1/2 year old, 65 lb spayed female English Bulldog mix. She has a tight, clean coat and an adorable under bite. She has guardian-breed tendencies and will need a breed-savvy owner who's able to provide appropriate leadership. She is loyal to her family and loves to snuggle. Her absolute favorite joy in life is Ball! She enjoys playing with other dogs but requires a human who can supervise and advocate for appropriate interactions or she is prone to bullying behavior. She is currently being fostered in a home with two other dogs and is crate-trained, house-trained, and has basic obedience training. She will benefit from structure, leadership, and ongoing training. Once acclimated in a home environment, she loves to snuggle and play and has a goofy, loving personality.  Adopter Profile:  Single family residence required Secure fenced yard preferred Large breed experience required Bully breed experience preferred Other balanced dogs and older children considered on case by case basis Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $400, which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, flea/tick treatment, deworming, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Medical Notes: Penny has had one TPLO repaired in Spring 2025 and fully recovered, before tearing her other CCL in Fall 2025. We will do another TPLO for her with adoption interest.  Animal History:  Penny and her siblings were a surprise litter - their mother was adopted from a local family when she was unknowingly pregnant, so he got much more than he bargained for when she had puppies soon after her adoption. Penny was born on 12/09/22; one of the littermates was  DNA tested and so presumably all littermates are  75% English Bulldog, 12.5% German Shepherd, 12.5% Rhodesian Ridgeback. As puppies, these dogs were playful and engaging. Penny was adopted as a puppy to a family who was not prepared for the tendencies of this breed combination. Without any formal training, she developed territorial behaviors in the home and on walks that ultimately led the family to return her to the rescue. She has since been evaluated and fostered in a DGS foster home. She is currently available for adoption to the greater Seattle area.  August 7, 2026, 10:53 pm

Story
Primrose, Princeton and Percival's mom was abandoned at a home when her previous owners moved out. She was left out on a chain to fend for herself. Luckily the neighbors realized she had been left behind and took her in. She was in horrible physical condition and pregnant by to neighborhood stray (a black lab) that would jump the fence when she was in heat. It was reported by the neighbors that these 2 had had multiple litters together but none of the puppies ever survived. The neighbors children fell in love with mom and they are keeping her but needed help rehoming her very last litter (we assisted in getting her spayed). These pups are the most laid back and chill group I have ever seen.
