WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ⚡🐾 Meet Flash — A Little Spark of Courage with a Whole Lot of Heart 🐾⚡ Male • 10 Months Old • 13 lbs - Chihuahua mix Some dogs burst into your life with confidence… and some, like Flash, quietly work their way into your heart and stay there forever. 💛 At 10 months old and 13 pounds, Flash is still very much a puppy at heart — just one who’s learning the world a little later than most. Coming from a hoarding situation, he missed out on some of the basics early on… but you’d never know it by how beautifully he’s starting to blossom. This sweet boy has already made incredible progress. What once was a shy, unsure pup is now a little guy who will come up for pets, seek out affection, and is discovering just how good life can be. And honestly? He’s kind of crushing it. • House training? Doing fantastic. • Doggie door? Learned it practically overnight (show-off 😄) • Making dog friends? Yes please. • Toys? Still figuring them out, but very interested. • Perfecting his Elvis smile when you hit 'that' spot just right! Flash is smart, curious, and very treat motivated, which makes him a wonderful student for learning all the things he may have missed early on — leash walking, confidence building, and all the fun parts of being a beloved family dog. He’s currently working on his leash skills, and once he’s comfortable, he’ll be the perfect buddy for leisurely neighborhood strolls or mild outdoor adventures. With other dogs, Flash is doing great — he’s even starting to play and would truly benefit from a confident canine sibling to help show him the ropes and remind him that everything is okay. Cats? He’s met one and was curious but respectful — a true gentleman. Because he’s still gaining confidence, Flash would do best with older kids who understand patience and gentle interactions. But what makes him special?: It’s the way he’s learning to trust. The way he leans in for pets and snuggles. The way he’s discovering joy in things most dogs take for granted. Flash is still soaking up the world like a much younger puppy — every day is new, exciting, and just a little bit magical. He doesn’t need perfection. He just needs patience, kindness, and someone willing to show him what love looks like. And in return? You’ll get a dog who loves you with his whole heart — the kind of love that feels extra special because it was earned. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Flash the safe, loving home he’s been waiting for… and watch him light up your life in the sweetest way. 🐾💛

Story
Animal Information:  Nova is a sweet 25-pound Chihuahua mix who found herself at risk in Stanislaus Modesto. Our shelter partners reached out to advocate for this little lady, and after watching her videos, we knew we had to help. Nova is estimated to be about 3 years old and is friendly with other dogs and people. She can be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take long before she’s asking for affection. Foster Profile:  Nova is the kind of dog who will steal your heart the second she leans into you.  She’s incredibly affectionate, easily bonds with new people, and lives for snuggles. She’s smart, eager to learn, and absolutely loves toys, training, walks, and car rides. Out exploring the world, she truly shines. Nova is looking for a dog experienced, adult only household. She experiences some separation anxiety, and do best in a single-family home with a securely fenced yard. Apartment living or situations where she would need to be left alone frequently would be difficult for her. Nova is currently working through some resource guarding and is making good progress, but will need an experienced, committed owner who can continue that training and provide clear, consistent guidance. Nova can be selective with other dogs and is not reliant on them, so she may do best as an only dog or with a well-matched, balanced companion. She is great with cats! Nova is a fun little adventure companion who is going to be a once in a lifetime friend for one lucky family.   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Stanislaus in Modesto. She will be transferred via Wiggle Butts, arriving to foster care on  03/08/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.April 12, 2026, 10:55 pm

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🍯💛 Meet Honey — A Tiny Drop of Sweetness with a Whole Lot of Love 💛🍯 Female • 8 Months Old • 7 lbs • Chihuahua If happiness could be bottled up into 7 tiny pounds of pure love… it would look exactly like Honey. At just 8 months old, this little Chihuahua is already a professional snuggler, certified kiss-giver, and full-time heart melter. She’s the kind of pup who doesn’t just sit next to you — she melts into you, like she’s been saving up all her love just for that moment. Honey is incredibly social and friendly, the type of girl who believes everyone she meets is just a friend she hasn’t cuddled yet. People? Loves them. Other dogs? Yes please. Cats? Totally fine. She’s basically the “get along with everyone” committee chairperson. Her personality is beautifully laid back and easygoing, making her the perfect companion whether you’re relaxing on the couch, working from home, or just need a tiny shadow following you around making life better. Her daily hobbies include: • Snuggling like it’s an Olympic sport • Handing out sweet little kisses (free of charge!) • Perfecting her “pick me up, please” eyes • Being adorable… effortlessly • Light napping with occasional cuddle breaks And while Honey is mostly sugar and sweetness, she does have a tiny dash of sass — just enough to remind you she’s still a Chihuahua with opinions (mainly about when it’s time for more snuggles). Honey is the kind of dog who will quietly, sweetly, and completely steal your heart — and then curl up in it like it’s her forever home. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Honey add a little extra sweetness (and a whole lot of love) to your life. 🐾💛

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. WE TRANSPORT OUR DOGS ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org 💛 Meet Rachel 💛 Rachel is a tiny, 8-pound, approximately 1-year-old Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix… with a heart that’s quietly waiting to bloom. She came from a hoarding situation with many other dogs, so the world is still a big, new place for her. At first, she can be a little shy—taking it all in, making sure everything is safe. But once she realizes she’s okay? Oh… that’s when the magic happens. Because underneath that shy exterior is the sweetest little soul who absolutely melts for gentle love. Because of her beginning she would probably do better in a quieter home with older children that can give her space when she needs it. Her favorite thing? Belly scratches. The kind where she slowly rolls over like, “Okay… I think I trust you… you may proceed.” And once you’re in? You’re in forever. 💛 💛 Personality: soft, gentle, and oh-so-sweet 💛 Favorite activity: belly rubs and quiet cuddles 💛 Secret talent: turning patience into the most rewarding bond you’ve ever had Rachel would truly thrive in a home with another confident dog to show her the ropes and help her see that the world isn’t so scary after all—it’s actually pretty wonderful. She’s looking for a patient, kind-hearted person who will give her the time she needs to learn all the things many dogs take for granted… Like gentle pets. Kind words. Exciting little adventures. Learning to walk on a leash for neighborhood strolls Dinner in her very own bowl. And those magical things called treats She may start off a little unsure, but with love and patience, Rachel will blossom into the most loyal, loving little companion—one who will look at you like you hung the moon. And trust us… there is nothing sweeter than earning the love of a shy dog. Apply today at haydudeequine.org if you’re ready to show this precious girl that the world is safe, kind, and full of good things (especially belly rubs)… Rachel is ready to find her happily ever after 💕

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💛 Meet Phoebe 💛 Phoebe may be the tiniest of her group at just around 7 pounds… but don’t let her size fool you—there’s a whole lot of love packed into that stunning milk chocolate colored little body, just waiting to shine. At about 1 year old, Phoebe is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. She can be a little shy when you first meet her—but give her a New York minute, and you’ll start to see her blossom into the sweetest little companion. And once she decides you’re her person? Game over. You’ve been chosen. 💛 💛 Personality: shy at first, but warming up into a total sweetheart 💛 Social life: loves playing with other dogs and would truly thrive with a confident canine buddy 💛 Life goal: find her human and never let them go Phoebe came from a hoarding situation with many other dogs, so she’s just now discovering all the wonderful things most pups take for granted—gentle pets, kind voices, meals in her very own bowl, and those magical little things called treats (she’s pretty sure those are going to be a favorite). She’s looking for a patient, loving home—ideally a quieter one with older, gentle kiddos—where she can continue to grow in confidence at her own pace. A doggy sibling would be a huge bonus, helping her navigate the “big, exciting world” moments and showing her that everything is, in fact, pretty a-ok. Phoebe is the kind of dog whose journey is just beginning. Every day, she gets a little braver, a little more playful, a little more herself. And being the person who gets to watch that transformation? That’s the really special part. And fair warning… once she comes out of her shell, don’t be surprised if this tiny little thing turns into your full-time shadow—following you around like, “Hi yes, I live here now and I will love you forever.” Apply today at haydudeequine.org if you have the patience, the kindness, and maybe a cozy spot on the couch… Phoebe is ready to find her person and start her happily ever after 💕
