Meet Lolita! Our fosters say it best, so have a read about what Lolita's wonderful foster has to say about her: Lolita is a cute, cuddly, smart and sweet girl, that is completely housetrained and an incredible companion. She equally seeks out affection from both myself and my husband. She is treat and affection motivated and is learning new commands, sit, and a 1,2,3 recall. She is not a barker in the house, but will bark at squirrels or loud noises when out in the yard. She cuddles into bed with us at night and sleeps soundly until you are ready to start your day. She is a collector of socks, but does not chew on them (silly girl). She is a buddy while working out in the yard, and while working from home. She has great recall in the yard and in the house, and unlike many fosters I have had she responds to her name. Lolita is not needy, but just quietly follows you around while accomplishing your tasks, or laying in her bed at your feet while working at the computer. She has a coat that feels like spun sugar, so soft and cotton-like and non-shedding which will need frequent grooming to keep it in tip-top shape. She is super excited to go for a walk and sits nicely to get her harness on, but she is leash reactive once outside the front door and so we have been working on that, with a bit of success, but I foresee that she will need continued patience, and training to help her navigate the world outside your front door. But I assure you she is worth the work that you would put in in the leash training and be rewarded with a well-behaved, loving, cuddly four-legged family member. KEVIN! Kevin is the sweetest dog here and a staff favorite. This sweet boy hasn't had the easiest time but he is finding his sea legs and learning to zoom around the park with each passing day. Kevin's favorite thing in the world is cuddles and he would love a warm, safe, loving lap to call his forever home. At just 7 pounds and seven months old, he is the perfect lap warming size! Kevin is a mellow, easy going dude who is great with all humans and good with fellow canine companions. We expect he would be good with cats, too, given that a resident cat would likely be bigger than he is. At seven months, Kevin is still a puppy, so ongoing socializing and training will help him become the best dog he can be! Currently, Kevin is a mellower dog, but as he builds confidence, we think that his energy level could increase to be more medium energy.
