Story
Name: Justin Timberlegs Breed: Poodle mix Sex: Neutered Male Age: 10 months Weight: 10.5 lbs Has Medical Needs Good with dogs? Yes, he loves all dogs and is learning boundaries. He sniffles, wrestles and snuggles with other dogs in his foster home. Good with cats? Not Tested Good with kids? Yes, he is great with 1 and 7 year old kids. Energy level: Medium. Due to his disability, he is less capable of playing than he wants to be. He loves plush toys, balls and stuffies. Medical needs: Justin Timberlegs has no use of his back legs. He uses a wheelchair when not being carried around. He could easily become further injured and needs constant supervision and care. His back legs must be wrapped for protection before he goes outside and he must be kept safe from any dangerous scenario indoors or outdoors, since with his happy energy, he may try to do things he can’t, like use stairs. JT will benefit from acupuncture and/or stem cell therapy when he’s older due to the nature of his injuries. Animal Characteristics: Justin Timberlegs is a very sweet, loving, playful puppy who was severely and unrecoverably injured and has no muscle mass from his waist down. He needs a special adopter with a home that will safely accommodate his mobility issues. He absolutely loves people and craves attention! Like all puppies, he will need continued socialization and training. Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. You can also contact my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org if you have questions. I look forward to meeting you!

Meet Jiggly Caliente! He may have a spicy name but he is actually quite mellow and sweet! Jiggly may be a little nervous at first, but once he feels safe, he’ll happily stick by your side like your most loyal companion. He loves quiet company, gentle affection, and just being near his people. Because he can be a bit sensitive in new situations, he’d do best in a home with older kids who can give him the patience and understanding he needs. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a heart of gold, Jiggly Caliente might be your perfect match! What I Need In a Home:* Older children recommended

Story
Couscous is the happiest little boy, he's about 8 months old. He gets very attached and is VERY protective. He does not like men initially but gets used to them fast. He would do best in a single person home. We are currently working on some behavior trainina and he is doing very well. He would be great with an adopter that is willing to work through his behaviors. (Mainly just his protectiveness) He is potty trained/crate trained/dog door trained. He gets along with other animals.  Couscous is neutered and up to date on vaccinations plus dewormed.  Located in Delta CO

Story
Meet little Curly. He is a tender-hearted, adventurous, fun-loving 4-year-old. 9 pound,  poodle mix (maybe cocker spaniel, maltese, or shih tzu?) He absolutely loves being showered with love and cuddles. He has adapted very well to other dogs, both big and small. Curly is initially cautious around new people and other dogs, but warms up very quickly. He seems OK with older children who understand not to scare him. He is very silly, frequently crawling on his stomach and rolling onto his back for belly rubs. He is doing amazing with potty training and learning how to play and have fun. He will bring much enjoyment to a family that is willing to put in the time to make him feel loved. He would do best with a family that is home a lot, as he loves to be around people. He recently went to his first little league baseball game with no problems. Put in an application at eapl.com His adoption fee is $375  June 14, 2025, 8:59 pm

Story
Meet Ranger – A Brave and Gentle SoulHighlights:- Blind - will need another confident dog in the home to help him navigate- Requires an adopter experienced with or comfortable caring for blind dogsRanger is a 7-year-old Toy Poodle who weighs just 9 pounds. Despite being blind, Ranger is a curious and endearing little guy with a gentle spirit. He takes comfort in the presence of other dogs and will need a canine friend in his forever home to help him feel safe and supported as he learns his way around.Ranger is sweet and sensitive, with a quiet confidence that`s growing more each day. He enjoys exploring at his own pace and is beginning to build trust with the people around him. He may be visually impaired, but that doesn’t stop him from seeking out affection, enjoying gentle pets, and being part of the pack.He will do best in a calm, patient home that understands the unique needs of blind dogs and is ready to offer love, structure, and support as he adjusts to his new life.****Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

Story
We took in Franklin following the death of his owner. Franklin was initially grumpy with our very energetic puppy which we were hoping would improve but Franklin is very stressed by our dog and our children which seems to be worsening. I don’t have a behavioral history other than what we have seen and he is very stressed by other dogs- typically reacting with growls. He is very stressed by children and has nipped at the children. I believe Franklin would do best with a single individual or couple who are able to give him a quiet and calm home. He does great in the car and did amazing camping. He really is a sweet boy who I think has been through a lot.
