Simba is a small adult dog with a sweet and loyal personality once he feels comfortable. He loves being around his person and enjoys a calm, structured environment. Simba is crate trained and does well with routine. He can be anxious in new situations and around unfamiliar people, which may cause him to bark or become defensive. He will likely bark quite a bit during the first few days as he adjusts to a new environment. Because of this, Simba would do best in a home with an experienced dog owner who understands how to give him time and space to adjust. He would do best in a home without small children. Simba would do best in a house rather than an apartment, as he can be vocal at times. A home without carpet is preferred. Simba has so much love to give and forms a strong bond with his owner. With patience, consistency, and the right environment, he can be a very loyal and rewarding companion. We are looking for a home that can provide him with stability.

Welcome ladies man Cash to OBG!  Cash is a gorgeous 2-year-old, 23-pound cockapoo.  He was surrendered to OBG, as the kids in his prior home made him way too nervous; so he is in search of a kid-free home.  When Cash is around women, he comes to life but is more timid around men.  Cash is crate trained.  He was an only dog in his previous home and was good with other dogs.  When Cash was home with just his female owner, he was a perfect boy.  For these reasons, Cash is looking for a female adult forever home.  He is currently kenneled in Alexandria, VA, and we would love to transition Cash into a home as soon as possible. Hello,Nalla is a great puppy but needs a home with a family that can love her and be available a bit more than her current home. She's been with us since she was a few weeks old and has been a pleasure. She has a great temperament with children and people in general. She's been to puppy daycare plenty of times and has had no issues at all. We've had dog walkers come by the house to take her out and she has no issues with strangers. She is potty trained but has her moments where she will go on a rug if we don't make it back home to her in time. She will not go on hard wood which is what we have in our home now outside of a rug. Like most dogs, she doesn't like thunderstorms or fireworks. She’s not a barker as she makes more noise in her sleep than awake.We do have a health plan for her and she has shots coming due in the next few weeks. We’ll try to make sure we get those taken care of soon.
