Meet Zeke. This precious boy joined the NorCal family when he was found as a stray and ended up in the San Jose Shelter. We think Zeke is about 8 years old. Zeke arrived at the shelter horribly matted and dirty. It took two grooming appointments to shave him down. Hence, you will notice the before and after pictures of Zeke. Here is what Zeke's foster mom says about him: Zeke is a 21-pound velcro pup. He is happy, sweet guy. His main joy is being with his person, whether watching movies on the couch or walking in the park, Zeke is happy just being with you. He rides quietly in the car and sleeps on his own bed at night. He likes spending a few minutes during the day playing fetch with his toys. Zeke gets along well with other dogs. He welcomes new people, but is a little shy at first. He is an active boy and definitely needs a yard where he can roam and explore. Zeke needs to be in a home with someone who can be home with him the majority of the time and can take him on daily walks. Zeke has been to the Vet and is in good health. He has an unusual gait, which could have been from an old back injury. This does not bother Zeke at all. This sweet boy deserves a forever home to call his own. Meet CashCash is a funny little old girl  with a heart of gold. This Cocker mix is a sweet old soul whose nickname is Bubble Butt, she has a benign fatty tumor across the top of her tail that looks unusual but doesn’t bother her one bit. What really stands out is her gentle, endearing nature. Cash would love nothing more than a cozy bed and lots of pets to enjoy her senior years. She’s currently in Jamestown, CA, and is eligible for our Sanctuary Program, where you keep her as a permanent foster and we cover her medical bills. Ollie is a high energy 2 year old English Cocker. He loves to play and play and play, His favorite game is fetch with a ball. He gets along with some dogs but not all. He prefers people but at the same time needs a minute to get introduced. He would do best in a calm expirenced home that can work on his basic manners. He is not a bad boy just very green and like all teenagers, needs to learn bounderies.   Ollie, really is a lovely boy, knows sit and shake, walks ok on a leash and can walk past a bunch of barking dogs without barking back.
