Story
Megatron was rescued after people witnessed him being beaten by a mentally ill homeless person. We are just guessing at the breed/mix. He’s adorable and loving. He can be a bit barky when excited but he is easily redirected. Good with other dogs and cats. Would probably be fine as an only dog as well. Great in the car. Loves car rides. He does sometimes get weary of strangers approaching him in public - if they come on too strong. No bite history but we definitely think he has some emotional baggage after what he went through on the mean streets.

Story
Hi, my name's Dodger. I'm an older Cocker Spaniel, and for a long time, I was living with a family that neglected me before dumping me on the streets of Los Angeles. I had no home, no one to care for me, and I was in so much pain. I was sick and covered in fleas, my mouth hurt from rotting teeth, and the bladder stones inside me were causing horrible bleeding. I just didn't have the strength to fight anymore. But then, Beagle Freedom Project found me! They rushed me to the vet where I got the urgent care I needed. The doctors performed a big surgery to remove huge bladder stones that were causing me to bleed internally, and they pulled out all my decayed teeth that had been infected for who knows how long. It's hard to believe, but I'm finally starting to feel a little better. Right now, I'm recovering in my foster home, where I feel safe and loved, but I still need a forever home where I can live out my golden years! Once I trust you, I'm such a friendly girl, and do not let my age fool you, I can be super silly and playful too! I promise to be the best companion ever if you open your home to me. Could you be my adopter? My location: LOS ANGELES, CA *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* *Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter is able to travel to the animal's current location for pickup.* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. Story
Need a new home for our pet Luna. She's a 7 year old cocker spaniel/dachshund mix. We recently moved to Camarillo from Covina where she had a big yard to run around. We moved to Camarillo for a job relocation and our new place does not have a patio or yard. Unfortunately, Luna spends about 23 hours a day indoors as we don't have time to walk her much due to our schedules. Also, my kids travel locally alot for sports and there are days where she spends 10 to 12 hours indoors before we take her out for potty or a walk. Luna is very lovable and all she wants to do is be next to us or be petted. She's home-trained and does not get on the bed or furniture. She's not a chewer either. She makes a great companion dog.

Story
Penny is two years old! She was surrendered by her owner to a shelter. She is neutered and shots are up to date. She is a complete lap dog! She wants to be affectionate and close by all the time. We are rehoming her because our older dog has not adjusted well to there being a new dog in the home. Penny is sweet, submissive and needs a place where she will not be picked on by other dogs. Thank you!

Story
Hi there, My parents are looking to rehome their 12 year old Cocker Spaniel due to them moving. As much as they’d like to take him along with him they are moving to an ADU and will not be able to take care of him as it will be a smaller space for him. If anyone is interested in him or know anyone who may be able to take care of him please reach out. He’s a 12 year old dog that still thinks he’s a puppy as he love to run and be by your side majority of the time. As he loves being by our side he did show some separation anxiety when he is alone. If someone is interested in him or knows a place that may take him please let me know thank you!
