Story
Meet your new best friend 🐾 This sweet 10-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix is looking for a loving home to spend his golden years. He’s a gentle, affectionate boy who absolutely loves snuggles, car rides, and soaking up the sunshine. Don’t let his age fool you—he still has plenty of love (and tail wags!) to give. He’s calm, well-mannered, and would be the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal, low-key buddy. He does have a few minor medical needs, but nothing that takes away from his happy spirit. He’s still full of life and just wants a cozy spot, kind humans, and lots of love. ✨ Great for a relaxed home ✨ Loves cuddling and being close to his person ✨ Sweet, gentle personality If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will stick by your side, he’s your guy 💙

Story
Barnabus is an amazing pup with a huge love for fetch—give him a ball, and he’s the happiest dog in the world! He’s looking for a gentle and patient adopter who will let him take his time to build trust. Barnabus thrives in a calm environment where he’s spoken to with kindness and allowed to come to you on his own terms. Once he feels secure, his sweet and loyal personality truly shines. While he’s not a fan of constant cuddles right away, Barnabus warms up beautifully with stability and love. He enjoys quiet walks, watching the world go by, and engaging with the people around him. He’s great with kids, other animals, and people, making him a wonderful companion in the right home. Barnabus does have a quirky growl, but don’t be alarmed—it’s his way of asking for attention, especially when he wants to play! He’s been misunderstood in the past, but in the right hands, he’ll flourish into the perfect, devoted best friend. If you’re ready to offer Barnabus the care, understanding, and love he deserves, he’s ready to meet you! Fill out an application today to bring this playful and protective boy into your life.

Story
I am heartbroken to be rehoming my 5-year-old Cocker Spaniel Stevie, the sweetest dog I’ve ever owned. He is a loving, cuddly, people-oriented companion who truly thrives when someone is home with him, as my new work schedule keeps me away for 10+ hours a day. He has limited experience with other dogs and cats, so a calm home where he can be the center of attention would be ideal. He isn’t a chewer or a digger, and is wonderfully well-mannered, though he does bark at noises and sometimes reacts to violence on TV. He adores being close to his person and will happily curl up in bed with you at night. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate dog who just wants to be by your side, he will make an incredible companion. I’m devastated to let him go, but I want him to have the time, attention, and love he deserves.

Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.  Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children, and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Clover, and I am a gorgeous little Cocker Spaniel who was born on 5/10/20, and I weigh 17 pounds. My sister, River and I are leash trained and love everyone and get along well with other dogs. Due to the local laws where we came from, we have been softly de-barked, but we can still make our needs known!  If you have been waiting for a gorgeous Cocker, or 2, please ask for me/us on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org.
