Story
Biggie 4 years old Neutered male Cocker Spaniel 30 lbs (on a diet) Biggie came to us from a puppy mill and is trying so hard to figure out this “real dog” life. He is a little nervous and a lot awkward but he has so much potential and gets more comfortable each day! He needs a little help, like being carried in and out of the yard and boosted on to the couch, but he’ll catch on! He’s a little bit of a flirt with the ladies but we believe that will calm down after his neuter. - Dog friendly, cats unknown - Crate trained - Working on potty training - Nervous on leash, fenced yard required - Needs another dog in the home If you’re interested in adopting Biggie please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. We ask that you are sure you are ready to welcome a dog into your home and are seriously interested in adopting BEFORE applying.

Story
Tess is a 4-year-old sweetheart who is new to Buffalo Pug Rescue and is just beginning her journey to her forever home. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with patience, kindness, and a little time, her true personality starts to shine. Once Tess feels safe, she becomes your little shadow, happily following you from room to room. She loves being petted, soaking up affection, and simply being close to her people. It's clear she's discovering just how wonderful love can be. Tess also enjoys spending time with her foster sisters, running around the yard and learning how to play. Watching her confidence grow a little more each day has been a joy. Because Tess is still gaining confidence and can be a flight risk, a securely fenced yard is required to keep her safe while she enjoys her outdoor adventures. Tess is looking for a patient, loving family who will give her the time she needs to continue blossoming. In return, she'll reward you with unwavering companionship, a loyal shadow by your side, and a heart full of love. Breed Information: A Cocker Spaniel is known for its affectionate, gentle, and loving personality, making it an exceptional family companion. They are friendly and social dogs that form strong bonds with their people and enjoy being involved in everyday family activities. Intelligent and eager to please, Cocker Spaniels learn quickly and respond best to positive, patient training. Their playful and curious nature makes them fun, energetic companions who enjoy outdoor adventures as well as relaxing at home with their loved ones after a good walk or play session. They are naturally loyal, kind-hearted, and sensitive, thriving in homes where they receive plenty of attention, companionship, and affection. With proper socialization, they typically get along well with children, other dogs, and even other pets. Their cheerful demeanor, sweet disposition, and unwavering devotion make the Cocker Spaniel a wonderful, well-rounded companion that brings joy, warmth, and loyalty to any home.

Story
If there's a pool, bucket, tub you can count on Camila trying to climb into it!  This adorable little girl absolutely loves water, and watching her find something to splash around in is guaranteed to make you smile! Camila is about 1 year old and just 20 pounds, with a gentle, affectionate personality and a wonderfully easygoing way about her. She gets along great with other dogs and is happiest simply enjoying life and being part of whatever is going on around her. And that's especially wonderful considering where her story began. Camila and her siblings were found in an isolated area, cold, soaked from the rain and struggling to survive. Thankfully, they were rescued before it was too late. Those difficult days are behind Camila now, and you would never know she'd had such a rough beginning from the sweet, happy little girl she is today.  Now it's time for the best part of her story..a family of her very own. We can just picture Camila spending her summers splashing in a kiddie pool and then curling up with her people when she's finally worn herself out. Could that be with you? Camila will arrive in Albion, NY at the end of August and we would love to have a family waiting for her! Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.August 14, 2026, 6:02 pm
