Story
Biggie 4 years old Neutered male Cocker Spaniel 30 lbs (on a diet) Biggie came to us from a puppy mill and is trying so hard to figure out this “real dog” life. He is a little nervous and a lot awkward but he has so much potential and gets more comfortable each day! He needs a little help, like being carried in and out of the yard and boosted on to the couch, but he’ll catch on! He’s a little bit of a flirt with the ladies but we believe that will calm down after his neuter. - Dog friendly, cats unknown - Crate trained - Working on potty training - Nervous on leash, fenced yard required - Needs another dog in the home If you’re interested in adopting Biggie please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. We ask that you are sure you are ready to welcome a dog into your home and are seriously interested in adopting BEFORE applying.

Story
Meet Ruger, a handsome 4 year old boy. We think that he’s a cocker blend with something else, but what? Ruger is a gorgeous chocolate brown with a white chest. He is cocker size, weighing in a 35 lbs. His previous owner said he was a cockapoo, but we don’t see any poodle in him. Ruger is a bit of a shy dog and needs a bit of time to warm up to people. He adores males, following foster dad around. Ruger loves cuddling with foster dad in a recliner. If foster dad isn’t around, Ruger will either lie by you or snuggle in your lap. Ruger is low to moderate energy. Ruger likes playing chase with the female family dog. He was initially apprehensive about walks, but now gleefully dances around when he sees that we’ll put on his harness for a walk around the neighborhood. Ruger loves treats! He will go outside and come right back in just to get a treat. He doesn’t show much interest in dog toys, though. Ruger would be best in a home with teenage or older children, as the activity of young children may be too much for Ruger’s innate shyness. Ruger is largely housetrained. We take him outside at times throughout the day so he can do his business. Sometimes we need to stay outside with him, because he likes to be around people. Walks also help Ruger to do his business. Ruger is 35 lbs, and is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on heartworm preventative. Ruger is available through New England Brittany rescue at www.nebrittanyrescue.org where one can fill out an adoption application. NY rescue RR263

Story
Meet Camila! Camilas story began in heartbreaking circumstances. She and her siblings were rescued from an isolated area where they were struggling to survive, cold, wet, and nearly freezing in the rain. Thankfully, this sweet girl got her second chance and now shes ready to find a loving family of her own. Camila is a 1-year-old, 20-pound loving, gentle, and affectionate girl with a fun little personality! One of her favorite things in the world is water she absolutely loves pools or any container she can fit into to cool off and splash around . She gets along very well with other dogs and has a sweet, easygoing nature that makes her a joy to be around. Camila is the kind of dog who will happily bring love, companionship, and a little bit of fun to any home lucky enough to have her. Could beautiful Camila be the missing piece to your family? Camila will arrive in Albion, NY in mid June and we would love to have a family waiting for her! * Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. Story
We are looking to place our 1.5-year-old neutered male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in a loving, responsible home. He is: * Very friendly and affectionate * Excellent with children * Gets along well with other dogs * Social, gentle temperament typical of the breed * 1.5 years old (young, active, and fully house-trained if applicable) He would do best in a home where he gets regular attention, companionship, and daily interaction, as Cavaliers thrive on being close to their people. Health & Care * Neutered * Up-to-date on vaccinations We are looking for a home that: * Has time for companionship (not left alone long hours daily) * Has experience with small companion breeds or gentle dogs * Will treat him as part of the family * Preferably a home with kids or other dogs is fine (since he does well with both) We are heartbroken with the idea of having to give him away. Unfortunately, family health issues have left us with little to no time to care for our beloved dog.
