Story
Meet Libby, a sweet, five year-old cavalier. She is house trained, very well mannered and loves to be around people. She gets along well with dogs, but has not had any experience with cats or children. Her personality is bigger than her 20 pounds. She would make a great lap dog for someone who likes to sit and relax.. She would do well with another dog in the house, but would be fine by herself. . Please consider adding this great little dog to your household.

Story
Juliet hasn't met a dog or person she doesn't like, she prefers to be with her humans at all times. She’s estimated to be between 4-7 years old. Juliet likes to voice her opinion and happily joins the other dogs when they're barking even if she doesn't know what they're barking at. She's a happy little girl who's working hard on her potty training and weight loss as she needs to lose a couple pounds. She will circle by the door when she needs to go out but hasn't learned yet how to signal that she needs to go potty. Right now, Juliet weighs closer to 18lbs but would be happier around 16lbs. She loves to run around the yard with her dog friends but also loves a good nap on the couch. She will need a dental down the line. Three vets checked out her heart and all have said it’s clear of any heart murmurs at this time. After getting to know Juliet more it seems she would like a home with another friendly dog as well as a fenced in yard if possible. Story
Romeo is brand new to rescue and just in time for the holidays! He lives up to his name as a true lover boy. He will crawl right into your lap and at almost 30lbs you better be prepared! He follows his foster mom around the house and wants either a dog or human by his side at all times. Romeo is a breeder release and is learning what it's like to live in a home for the first time. He says it's a bit overwhelming at times but he loves lounging on the couch, running around outside and is starting to play with toys. As most cavaliers like companionship, Romeo would do best in a home with another friendly dog to show him the ropes and preferably a fenced in yard as he can never be trusted off leash. Romeo won't be ready for adoption until the end of January but if you're interested in learning more about him please put in an application today. If you already have an application on file (applications stay in our system for six months) please email rescue@buffalopugs.org or reach out on our Facebook page to express your interest. Thank you for wanting to rescue!
