Story
Biggie 4 years old Neutered male Cocker Spaniel 30 lbs (on a diet) Biggie came to us from a puppy mill and is trying so hard to figure out this “real dog” life. He is a little nervous and a lot awkward but he has so much potential and gets more comfortable each day! He needs a little help, like being carried in and out of the yard and boosted on to the couch, but he’ll catch on! He’s a little bit of a flirt with the ladies but we believe that will calm down after his neuter. - Dog friendly, cats unknown - Crate trained - Working on potty training - Nervous on leash, fenced yard required - Needs another dog in the home If you’re interested in adopting Biggie please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. We ask that you are sure you are ready to welcome a dog into your home and are seriously interested in adopting BEFORE applying.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Laura is ready for adoption! Laura is a 4–5‑year‑old Cockapoo who came to us from a breeder, and she is so ready to start living the good life. At just 14 pounds, she’s a petite sweetheart with the prettiest eyes and a gentle, blossoming personality. She’s already discovering what it means to be a loved family dog — and she’s loving it. Laura is adjusting beautifully to home life. She even taught herself how to go up and down the stairs so she can get outside or hang out with the other dogs — pretty impressive for a girl who’s new to all of this! She enjoys being outdoors and has a fully fenced yard in her foster home where she can safely wander and explore. She is doing well pottying outside and will use pee pads indoors when needed. Everything is still new to her, so adopters should expect continued training and a few accidents as she settles in. Laura gets along nicely with other dogs, though she has zero interest in puppy antics — those days are behind her, thank you very much. She’s happiest with calm, low‑energy dogs and would love a gentle canine companion in her new home to bond with and learn from. She also does well in a crate. Laura is not leash trained yet, but with patience and positive experiences, we believe she’ll come along just fine. She’s still a bit shy with new people and situations, which is completely normal for a former breeder dog. Her confidence will continue to grow as she learns how to “dog” like a pet. She is sweet, gentle, and so deserving of a family who will love her exactly as she is. Laura is now spayed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, flea‑treated, dewormed, and heartworm negative. She recently had a dental with minor extractions and will need another dental in the future. Her adoption fee is $500 (due to rising veterinary costs, our fees have increased).
