Story
Luna came to us in heat and we wanted to wait to make sure that she was not pregnant before taking her to the vet to get spayed. We took her for her spay appointment and were informed that she had "four little peanuts inside". We are so thankful that they were not aborted as they are the most precious little smart, healthy, happy, playful, adorable puppies of the year! They are fully litter box trained and/or go outside to do their business.. But it is wonderful during bad weather to have them litter box trained and not have to mess with puppy pads. They have had all of their vaccines and are fully vetted and ready for a great home! Call 606-783-9850 for more information strayheartsrescue@outlook.com https://forms.gle/suhbpui9RXiVmvoJ9

Story
Pulled at the last minute from San Pedro shelter and so glad we did. He is a sweet old man with a mellow personality and just toodle doodles around. Love this old guy.. Quiet and grumpy face and sweet. He was adopted and his owner just died. Please let him find that soft spot again. He would love to be a companion dog and an only dog.

Story
Meet Cash and Posey Two Cocker Spaniels, Double the Love &#226&#156&#168 Coming into our care on 2/22, Posey and Cash are two AKC-registered Cocker Spaniels who are as sweet as they are charming—and they’re ready to steal hearts. Cash, a two-year-old sable Cocker Spaniel weighing 24 pounds, is a true gentleman with a playful streak. He’s incredibly smart, fully house trained and kennel trained, and thrives on routine. His favorite moment of the day? First thing in the morning—when he bursts outside with pure joy and zoomies like life couldn’t be better. Cash loves to play fetch and is athletic, happy, and eager to engage. Like Posey, he may greet strangers with a little yap at first, but once he’s had a moment to check things out, he turns into a total lovebug. He adores attention, cuddling, and being close to his humans. Cash is neutered, fantastic with kids, gentle with other animals, and has a beautifully balanced temperament. Posey is a three-year-old brown and white beauty weighing just 17 pounds. Petite, playful, and full of affection, she’s the perfect mix of fun and cuddle-time. Posey is fully house trained and kennel trained, and she’s been obsessed with fetch since she was six months old—it’s her absolute favorite thing in the world. She can be a little vocal when first meeting new people, making sure to announce her presence, but once she gets a good sniff, her walls come down fast. After that, she’s all love—belly rubs, cuddles, and sticking close to her people. Posey is wonderful with children, gentle with other animals, spayed, well-socialized, and has no aggressive tendencies whatsoever. Together, Posey and Cash are playful, affectionate, a little chatty, and completely irresistible. They would thrive in loving homes where they can get attention, playtime, and the companionship they crave.
