QUICK FACTS Name: Foss Age: About 4 Years Old (Born in October, 2021) Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Cocker Spaniel Mix Color: Black Weight: 12kg / 26lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I spent over a year at the city shelter before I was rescued. A whole year watching people come and go, hoping one day it would be my turn. Now, I’m ready for something I’ve been waiting for all along— a real home, with someone I can finally call my person.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Foss, your calm, happy shadow with the softest heart. I love being near my person — quietly following around, checking in with a little tail wag, or bringing a toy just to make you smile. And when you’re busy? I know how to settle right beside you and relax. I’m easygoing, bright, and incredibly people-loving. Kids, adults, strangers — I love everyone equally, maybe a little too much. I’m affectionate without being overwhelming, playful when you’re ready, and calm when you need peace. Confident is probably the best word to describe me — my tail rarely drops, and I take the world in stride. I’m one of those dogs people say is “hard to find.” I’m gentle, affectionate, well-balanced, and easy to live with. I listen well, I can sit nicely, and I focus when it matters. And yes — I’ve been told I’m quite handsome too. My sleek black coat is soft and shiny. I take pride in that. If you’re looking for a dog who will bring calm, joy, and warmth into your home every single day,I think we might be a perfect match.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m the kind of dog who loves people. Whether you’re someone I’ve known forever or someone I’m meeting for the first time, I’ll happily come up to you, lean in, and gently rub against you like we’re already friends. You can even pet me and scoop me up with your arms under my belly — I’m comfortable being held. And if you spend even a little time with me, you might see me roll onto my back and show you my belly — sometimes even the first time we meet. I’m also really sweet with kids. I welcome them warmly and enjoy being around their energy. · With Dogs: When it comes to other dogs, I’m a friendly little social butterfly. Whether we’ve met before or not, I’ll happily walk up, say hello, and invite them to play. I feel especially comfortable with dogs around my size or smaller — that’s where my gentle, friendly side really shines. And even if another dog isn’t having their best day, I tend to avoid conflict and simply walk away rather than get into trouble. I’m here for good vibes and new friends. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy the outdoors, but I also know how to relax. I love going out for walks and exploring, and once we’re back home, I’m happy to settle down quietly by your side. On walks, I can get a little excited and pull sometimes, but I do like to follow my person and stay connected. And if I suddenly stop, it’s probably because I’ve found an interesting scent. I love taking my time to sniff, so our walks might be a little stop-and-go — but that’s just me enjoying the world in my own way.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food — whether it’s people or other dogs, I’m comfortable sharing space and staying relaxed. I’m also on the quieter side, so you won’t hear much barking from me. In my kennel, I settle down calmly, and when it’s time for a car ride, I can hop in and out all by myself like a pro. I usually prefer doing my business outside, so I’d love a routine that includes regular walks and fresh air. If I’m in a brand-new place, I might get a little curious and mark here and there — just something to guide me through as I adjust.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES If I’m in a brand-new place, I might get a little curious and mark here and there — just something to guide me through as I adjust.    FOSS'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2697706##

Story
🐶 Looking for a New Family for Lego 📍 Location: New York Lego was adopted as a young puppy but was sadly surrendered by his owner after three years. He grew up in an unstable environment with frequent travel back and forth to Boston, which made it difficult for him to form a secure attachment with his guardian. Because of this instability, in moments of fear, panic, or overwhelming stress, he has shown a few defensive or warning bites Lego needs a family who can meet him in person, understand his behavior clearly, and provide the consistent, reassuring environment he needs. City life is simply too overwhelming for him. With a quiet environment and a patient, steady guardian, Lego has every chance to continue improving and becoming more stable. The greatest hope is for Lego to find a peaceful home where he can finally rest. 📌 Basic Information Name: Lego Age: 4 years Gender: Male Weight: 25 lbs Breed: Jindo × Cocker Spaniel mix Color: Brown & White 🐾 Personality & Behavior People: Very fearful/reactive toward new people, warms up more easily to shorter women Children: Not recommended Other Dogs: Best as the only dog Shows resource guarding around food; must be fed separately Cats: Unknown Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: No Energy Level: High Touch/Handling: Uncomfortable with physical contact Barking: Quiet when alone; barks at doorbells or hallway noises when someone is home Escape Tendencies: None — manageable with “sit” and “wait” Walking: Martingale collar recommended; pulls with a harness Car Rides: Nervous initially, settles on longer rides Yard: Ideal, but a quiet neighborhood is also fine Living with Other Dogs: Not suitable 🔎 What Lego Needs Lego has fear-based reactivity. His current guardian has invested significant time, training, and management, and he has shown meaningful progress. However, Lego needs: A guardian experienced with reactive or anxious dogs A consistent daily routine A calm environment with low stimulation 🧡 Please Consider Becoming Lego’s Family Once he bonds, Lego is goofy, affectionate, and deeply loyal. He is waiting for a forever family who can provide the quiet suburban environment where he can truly thrive.
