Meet Oreo! Oreo is a traditional Border Collie with a big personality and a strong desire to please. He loves making his person happy and thrives on attention, activity, and companionship. Oreo came from a breeder-hoarding situation, so he has experienced some challenges in his past. Because of this, he can be fearful when meeting new people or facing unfamiliar situations. However, once he learns to trust you, his loving and loyal nature shines through. Oreo is looking for a home where he can be the only pet. He does not do well with other dogs and can become jealous of sharing attention, which may cause him to react negatively. For the same reason, he should not be around children without close supervision. As an active Border Collie, Oreo enjoys staying busy and would do best with someone who understands the breed's need for physical exercise and mental stimulation. He is happiest when he has a dedicated person to bond with and a home where he can be the center of attention. Oreo is a happy, energetic boy who has so much love to give. With the right home, patience, and understanding, he will be a loyal companion and devoted best friend. Oreo is crate trained, house trained, leash trained, and muzzle trained. He has learned his manners well and enjoys having structure and clear expectations. He will let you know when he needs to go outside and is reliable about holding it until you can take him out. Oreo prefers not to be outside alone. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his person and feels most comfortable when his human is nearby. Building a strong bond with his family is very important to him, and he loves being included in daily activities. Oreo is 8 years old and around 45 lbs. He is neutered and current on vaccines. Story
Moogine used to live with 4 other dogs in a large fenced yard, and would come inside at night to sleep in a crate. Her family also had 5 cats. Moogie got along with 4 out of their 5 cats. Her family had to relocate quickly for work, and could not take all of their animals. This sweet girl loves to run and would definitely enjoy having a yard. If not a yard, Moogine would love having someone/s who can take her for walks each day, which she also loves to do!! Moogie has not had a lot of training, and tends to put her paws up on people when excited, so not sure if she would be best around small children. She spent a lot of time with older kids, though. She is very loving and would benefit from being around humans that can give her lots of attention, and/or having other dogs to play with. I have had her for 5 days and only heard her bark once. She is very smart, and seems to have a sense of humor too. I cannot keep her myself, but want to find her a good home. Please help!
