Story
The Ausky is a cross between an Australian Cattle Dog and a Siberian Husky, both intelligent, active and enduring breeds. The resulting cross is an intelligent and active dog that does best with early socialization and plenty to do.Foster Notes: He was dumped at a local bank. He gets along well with our dogs, is crate trained, potty trained and learning the treadmill very quickly in my mobile dog gym. He’s very playful and smart, food motivated and easy to train.

Story
Copper is just a little over a year (DOB 7/1/2026) and he is a border collie mix. We adopted him at 8 weeks and he is part of a full household of 4 children, a cat, and several chickens. He gets along with the children, has become wiser with the cat, and loves chasing the chickens. He is playful, crate trained, and obeys several commands. We are still working on leash training, he still pulls when you walk him. He waits for food on command but he has food aggression issues. We find him relaxed for being a puppy (although he is our first dog and puppy). He is ok for a guard dog, sometimes alerting us to guests and sometimes not.He is a well loved puppy and we are sorry to part with him. His herding instincts cause issues with visiting children and our busy household. He is good with visiting adults but not visiting children and we feel he is better off is a household either without children or in a household that understands his herding instincts and can manage him better.
