Meet our wonderful girl, Mollie! She is a 3 year old shepherd mix who came to us in need of veterinary care after being surrendered from a desperate situation. She doesn't let her past bring her down and is the sweetest. She is a dream in the house. She is crate trained and house trained. She does well with other dogs and cats, though prefers an easy going dog pal. She lived with children previously.  She is crate trained and house trained. She does well with other dogs and cats. She is spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines. She is available for meet and greets, by appointment. If you think she may be a match for your family please fill out a foster or adoption application! Applications are available at our location as well as online at petpantrylc.org. From there, our adoption coordinator will be in touch!August 29, 2026, 4:05 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Addie is a sweet Collie mix with a heart of gold! This quiet, easygoing girl is well-behaved, crate- and house-trained, and great with kids. She loves meeting new people, is excellent on a leash, and always impresses everyone with her calm, friendly demeanor. Addie would thrive in a home with another dog to be her fur friend and a securely fenced yard where she can safely play and explore. She’s truly a plug-and-play dog ready to find her forever family and share a lifetime of love and adventures. REQUIREMENTS: Fenced Yard, Another DogVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop! Koda and Niko have been together their whole lives and we are not going to separate them. :) Niko LOVES to give kisses and Koda likes to lay on the couch and get tons of cuddles! Niko is a shepherd mix and he is 7. Koda is a border collie mix and he is 10. They both love to play in the field and roll around so a fenced yard would be ideal. Since Koda is older he is not a fan of younger dogs and the high energy so this pair may do best as the only dogs in the house :)) REQUIRES- Fenced YardVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Story
Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $300 (in TX)

Story
ABBEY MAE came to us when her owner had to go into assisted living. She is the sweetest, sweetest dog! Always happy to meet new people! Abbey is good with other dogs. She is coexisting with kitty cats right now but will chase them. Abbey was a bit of a chunk muffin but has successfully shed some pounds and is scheduled to be spayed 7/16/26. Abbey has been vaccinated and will have pre-op blood panel run prior to surgery. Also 4DX and microchip. She is around 55 lbs and 8 years old. We are not sure her breed mix. She looks to be some sort of hound, maybe beagle and possibly a herding type dog like a Collie. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org if you’re interested in adding this sweet girl to your family! Adoption $250.August 26, 2026, 10:54 am
