Pips are those adorable dots over a dogs eyes and they say `the bigger the pips- the sweeter the dog.` And he is a prime example of this. Bobby Newport is a good doggie who does have some bashful moments. He is going to thrive and shine with loving adopters who can give him time to settle into a new and loving home. And he does enjoy an active lifestyle so lots of confidence and energy burning activities will be great for him. A volunteer had this to share: I love sweet Bobby! He is the fetch king - make sure you bring a couple of tennis balls out for this guy when you take him out to play. He’s also so affectionate and such a fast learner. He would also really benefit from having a job to do (I could see him doing a lot of herding of small children if a family adopts him, lol) because he’s so smart and always wants to be helpful. Meet Mr. Cooper. Cooper and his siblings were part of an unwanted litter living beneath the front porch of a rural Tennessee home. Concerned neighbors noticed the puppies were not confined and that no one was caring for them. Fearing for their safety, especially after learning they were not being fed regularly, a neighbor intervened and rescued the puppies just before snow and ice swept through Middle Tennessee. The puppies are now healthy, happy, and ready for their forever families to find them. Cooper is the shy one but still a wonderful little guy. Once he warms up to you, he will not leave you alone. Cooper just needs a little love to trust you and then he is ready to go. His favorite place is your lap so be ready to make room. Cooper is a mix of Collie, Australian Shepherd, and Blue Heeler. He is 13 weeks old. Cooper enjoys playing with his brothers and sister as well as the other dogs in his foster home. He even plays with the household cats. Cooper is working on potty training and has it almost mastered. He just needs to remember why he went outside so he doesn't get side tracked. Cooper is crate-trained and spends time in an inside pen when no one is home to watch him. Cooper is neutered, up to date on all his vaccinations, and microchipped.
