Story
Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $300 (in TX)

I’m an adorable Collie/Husky mix — at least that’s everyone’s best guess! I came all the way from a crowded shelter in Alabama, and now I’m ready for the best part of my journey: finding a forever home of my very own! I’m a super friendly, playful, and affectionate guy who loves spending time with people. I’m also great with other dogs and would be thrilled to have some canine friends in my life. I’d love an active home where we can go on adventures, play, explore, and then settle in for some quality time together. With my Collie/Husky genes, there’s a pretty good chance I’m going to be one smart cookie, too! I’m ready to learn, have fun, and become someone’s loyal best friend. So, what do you say? Apply today and change this deserving boy’s life forever! I promise to bring plenty of love, fun, and tail wags along with me. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
-ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 55 lbs -ESTIMATED AGE: 11 months (as of 8/2026 -KNOWN WITH DOGS: Reba has been amazing with dogs. She's very submissive when first meeting other dogs and very much matches their energy. She is super playful with dogs her age, but then with a fosters senior pup, she plays very gently and respects boundaries. -KNOWN WITH CATS: She is curious like most dogs are at first but with guidance and redirection and attention from you (the humans) she could care less! -KNOWN WITH KIDS: She is a dream with children! Reba has been around children of all ages and really enjoys the affection and attention she receives and it very polite giving affection as well. -KNOWN CUES: Reba knows many basic commands and enjoys showing them off for treats -KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Reba is currently working on crate training and house training. When ne routines happen there are some accidents and it takes her about a day to settle in.. She can be little sneaky if left to her own devices so we do recommend that when not home with her she be crated or left in a room where she has appropriate items to chew on. -KNOWN LIKES: Attention, treats and all things positive. -KNOWN DISLIKES: We haven't found anything specific she doesn't enjoy. Notes from the foster: Reba really is the A+ dog to have in your home. She has all the amazing traits any adopter could ask for; as long as they are willing to give her a little time to mesh into her now routine you will not be disappointed in selecting her as your next companion! She has been an absolute delight and a massive cuddlebug. She does not realize that she isn't a 5 pound lap dog If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our dog adoption questionnaire and e-mail any questions to: tiffanyw@homewardtrails.org PLEASE VISIT THIS WEBSITE TO FIND THE ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE: http://www.homewardtrails.org/adopt-a-pet/adoption-forms/ HOW TO MEET THIS ANIMAL: Fill out the application and we will follow up with you! Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This boy was dumped with siblings and is a sweetheart! He is very friendly and gets along with other dogs. He has some housetraining and also knows how to use a dog door. He has done okay on a leash and in a crate. He will need daily exercise but is not overly energetic. He is ready to get a forever home.

Story
I’ve had Mickey since he was a 3 week old puppy. I’ve had the best times of my life with him. Mickey is loving and caring once he gets to know you. He is very territorial and protective of his home and owners. Mickey is very smart listens to commands. The only issue with Mickey is that he is aggressive with strangers he will try to bite a stranger that he doesn’t know and will bark a lot if someone he doesn’t know gets near him. Mickey was not aggressive when he was younger but ever since he was neutered he got this way. The reason why I am rehoming Mickey is because I have a toddler and a baby on the way and every time Mickey barks when someone knocks on the door he’s very loud and startles my toddler and scares him. I never have Mickey out when my toddler is playing around due to Mickeys behavior. I also can’t afford Mickeys vet care right now. If anyone is interested please let me know, like I said he is very loving and caring once he gets to know you.

Meet the "Brady Bunch" Litter! We're a one-of-a-kind family of puppies, and no two of us look alike! Our foster mom lovingly calls us her "Brady Bunch" because we're all so different. Some of us have fluffy coats, some are silky soft, others have short hair. We come in all kinds of colors, proving that the best surprises come in mixed packages! While we may all look different on the outside, we have one thing in common—we're happy, playful puppies who love life! You'll usually find us wrestling with our siblings, chasing toys around the yard, exploring every new smell, or making new friends. We adore other dogs, love kids, and are always ready for our next adventure. When we're all worn out from playing, we're more than happy to pile up together for a puppy nap before doing it all over again. We are expected to be medium-sized adults, around 35–40 pounds, making us the perfect size for adventures, family outings, and plenty of couch cuddles. If you're looking for a sweet, fun-loving puppy with a unique look and an even bigger heart, one of the "Brady Bunch" is ready to become your newest family member! Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)
