Story
This adorable little puppy came to BENCHS alongside four of her siblings and has quickly won everyone over with her playful personality and tiny size. Weighing in at just 15.8 pounds, Lola is currently the smallest of the group, but what she lacks in size she absolutely makes up for in personality. While we cannot say for certain what breeds make up this litter, our best guess is perhaps a Cattle Dog and Terrier mix of some sort. Lola already shows many of the traits people love about these kinds of dogs. She is smart, active, inquisitive, and always ready to learn something new, especially if treats are involved. Lola is extremely food motivated, which makes her a wonderful candidate for continued positive reinforcement training as she grows. Lola is looking for an active indoor home that will continue helping her build confidence, learn good puppy manners, and channel her energy into fun and enriching activities. Puppies with her likely breed mix often thrive in homes that enjoy walks, adventures, training sessions, puzzle toys, and making their dog part of everyday life. She is very dog friendly and continues to live comfortably with her siblings here at the shelter. Lola can be a little vocal at times, but it is usually just her enthusiastic way of expressing herself. Despite her tiny size, she is social, outgoing, and very friendly with new people. Like any young puppy, Lola is still learning about the world around her and will need patience, consistency, and continued training as she grows. In return, she promises to bring a whole lot of personality, laughter, and love into the lives of the people lucky enough to call her family.

Story
Baby Chai is a 3 month old puppy with a soft spirit and so much potential just waiting to shine. She came to BENCHS after being given away for free online, and we are so thankful she is now safe and getting the thoughtful placement she deserves. She is estimated to be a Heeler, Collie, and Great Pyrenees mix, and currently weighs just under 20 pounds. Baby Chai will likely grow into a medium to large sized dog. At first, Baby Chai can be a little shy as she takes in the world around her, but once she warms up, she is incredibly sweet and forms strong, meaningful bonds with her people. She is the kind of dog who will truly connect with her person. She does show herding breed characteristics, so she is looking for an active home that understands those instincts and is excited to provide both physical exercise and mental enrichment. Baby Chai is eager to learn and would greatly benefit from continued obedience training to help her grow into a confident, well rounded companion. She is looking for a home that can offer her space to explore, guidance as she learns, and the patience to let her blossom at her own pace. In return, she will give you a deeply loyal and loving bond that only a dog like her can offer. If you are ready for an active, intelligent, and deeply devoted companion, Baby Chai might just be your perfect match.
