Kong is from Texas. He was found there, in a ditch alongside a busy road, along with his brother. They were both taken into rescue after their stray hold was up, and were given age appropriate veterinary care and nutrition. They have both been thriving while in rescue, and now it's time for them to find homes of their own. Kong is a loving, affectionate pup. His texan foster family has a young girl that will hold him like a baby while she watches TV, and he loves every minute of it. He would absolutely adore a family with children to play and grow with. while kids would be a great bonus for kong, they are not a requirement for adoption in any way. Kong is not yet potty trained, but what young pup is? He has been working on his potty training skills with his texan foster family, and will need some patience and grace as he acclimates to his new family/schedule. Consistency is key in potty training and a consistent feeding/potty schedule will be key in him becoming fully potty trained. Kong has also begun crate training, and will sleep there soundly through the night as well as kennel up when his people are gone during the day. He has begun leash training, but will need to continually polish those manners.
